Comcast has been my mobile service for several years after they convinced me to switch to them for potential saving$, combining it with my internet service. The lst year saw some negligible savings. After that. It became a game every year with Comcast jacking up rates until I signed a new contract that was slightly higher than my old rate. After my son left my family plan, I decided to port/transfer my iPhone to another son's Verizon account. Informed it was easy peasy to do. Went to the Union City flagship store, let them do what was necessary. Was assured it was done. Went home. iPhone didn't work with a simulated e-sim card or something similar. Had to go to Comcast for whatever reason. Got signed off. Went across the plaza to this Verizon affiliated store operated by Victra. James K. was the sole associate on duty. He quickly did a "set up & go service" & gave me an interim SIM card. Pd 51.07. Son later noted it might have been free at a flagship store. Noted mobile phone stores are set up in pairs in plazas for a reason. James told me this store is usually appointment only as there are few patrons. Satisfied with service. Disappointed with Verizon that their website wasn't transparent enough to post all possible scenarios. 4.5 stars for Victra. Would do business again with them. read more

I went into the Verizon Victoria store to add three additional lines to my family plan, and the entire experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. What should have been a simple process turned into over 12 hours of waiting while they struggled to port over the numbers for the three new lines. There were issues porting one of the numbers, and the staff told me they needed to open a temporary extra line to complete the port. I was repeatedly assured that this extra line would not appear on my bill and that I would not be charged for it. When my next bill arrived, I found charges for that extra line anyway--contrary to everything they told me. I escalated the issue to the store manager, Dion Ball, who apologized and told me it was a mistake. He assured me I would receive a credit--including a total of $480 for the time I spent trying to resolve their errors. He promised it would appear on my next bill. The next bill came, and no credit appeared. When I contacted Dion again, he told me the credit would take 1-2 billing cycles. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited three full cycles, and still nothing. Now, Dion has completely stopped responding to me. After being a loyal Verizon customer for over four years, I am absolutely disgusted by the lack of professionalism at this store. In my experience, they made promises they did not keep, and when it came time to follow through, they simply ghosted me. It feels like they expected me to just give up and let it go. I believe this situation was handled irresponsibly and improperly, and I will be filing a complaint with the FCC. I strongly urge everyone else to think twice before coming to this location. read more

Came in to get a new iPhone for the new costumer deal and I had wanted to switch my phone number from T-mobile. The process was very frustrating being not the primary act holder on my T-Mobile account and trying to port over a phone number the porting department had a lot of issues but Perla was really patient and helped me keep my same phone number, it took a few days and a few trips to the store but we got it done and I'm excited to have my own cell phone account and to use my new iPhone. read more

I went there with my mom that is 85, needed to return a newer flip phone, it was too much for her to learn. When we got there an employee named Khalil Titsworch helped us. He was very friendly, helpful and patient. He made the calls and got transferred so many times, he could have easily told us to go to a corporate store but he didn't, he ended up even staying after his shift to get this taken care of. read more

My sister had lost her phone on the weekend and went into the store to try to file a claim because she couldn't do it online. Long story short the guy who helped her in the morning was not helpful at all. I was in Emeryville and went into the Verizon store there and both the manager and rep was not helpful at all. We tried to do a device swap online at home and realized we needed a SIM card so we went into the store. Lizette greeted us at the door and was very sweet. She listened to our dilemma and looked up our account and actually helped us correct the issue we were having with our account. Will definitely come back here to get help from her in the future. These days the reps are not helpful unless you're buying something. I usually just buy my phone through Apple but Lizette was so helpful that I might just return and buy my phone here to give her the commission. read more

"Victra" "Verizon" "Corporate" "Authorized Dealer" what's the difference? Victra= Authorized Dealer Verizon=Corporate I understand these differences in business. When you deal with an authorized dealer or a corporate store you have to stay within that channel for exchanges or returns. I bought from Shattuck, Berkeley Victra. This San Leandro store is also a Victra. However, they refused to accept my case return and suggested I go to a corporate store. This is my 3rd time going to a store to try to return. 1st was at a corporate location on Lakeshore. 2nd was back at Shattuck - which had an hour wait because there was only 1 person working and 4 waiting. 3rd was this store who was downright lying to me. Turning customers down to try to keep your operational stats low is a shame. Laziness is what will be the end of this already scarce business location. read more

Employees did not wear masks. One of them was coughing and did not wash their hands before handling my new phone. Took them 2 hours to sell me what turned out to be a defective phone, then 1 hour to return it. During the sale, they pressured me into buying a more expensive phone. Then when I returned it, they were rude and told me I should've bought a flip phone if I didn't know what kind I wanted. The price for buying and returning the phone was $150, though I was told it would only be a $35 restocking fee! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! read more

I had an amazing experience here on Tuesday 5/5/2020...The sales rep Agnes was AWESOME SAUCE! We had a difficult time with Verizon over the phone and all the special departments they kept sending us to but, Agnes remained patient and never gave up on resolving the issue I had with opening up a new account. I came in to trade in for a new phone at this location after calling customer service to verify that the phone I wanted was in stock. After being let into this store, I was not even acknowledged. I understand this associate was with another customer, however I would have appreciated a nod or smile. We patiently waited for her assistance while she finished up helping the other customer, but when it was our turn she told us she did not have the phone we wanted without even pretending to check. When we brought up that we can called to verify that they did have it, she then tried to tell us it would take an hour to transfer data and she closes in 40 minutes. We told her that we wouldn't have any data to transfer as it was a spare phone we had reset already. She then left us in silence for 10 minutes by ourselves wondering whether she was going to assist us or not. Finally she came in the room only to leave again without a word. After another 10 minutes she returned with the phone we wanted and proceeded to begin with process without speaking to us. We didn't even get to choose the color we wanted.. Despite the fact that we got the phone in the end, the entire experience made us feel unwelcome and was bad enough to make me write a review. read more

I can't speak highly enough about the store manager, Agnes, and associate, Maria. I had an issue with an online order which I was locked out of. The locked transaction used most of my available credit and I could not make a new purchase. They hadn't ran into this issue before but they were very patient and worked through the issue until it was resolved. They canceled the locked transaction and were able to manually reset the credit limit. Once that was done they were able to re-order the phones. Extremely impressed by these ladies. Most would of given up and sent me on my way but not these two. Can't wait to get the phones and come back to these two for assistance to port numbers and activate the phones. Awesome! read more
