walked in at open with my mother to get a new phone. the lady who helped us, who I think was the manager on duty, was very rude and short spoken. did not smile once. when my mom asked to see the phone she told us to get up and look at them, did not guide us to the displays or offer to help us look at them. Under the guise of protecting my account, Verizon has designed a system to ask multiple questions, and keeping people in a hopeless loop, so that they never reach customer service. They simply won't talk to you until you have "authenticated", which they never allow to happen. read more

My bill went up suddenly this month by $30. I called 611 yesterday and was connected to a phone rep in the Philippines who kept repeating the same phrase over and over and over, like I was deaf and didn't hear her the first time or that I was incapable of understanding. After 15 minutes of this nonsense, I protested and told her how offensive it is to be admonished for 15 minutes in such an infantile way. She offered no solution for pricing, and when I said that other companies offer cell phones too, she was non responsive, didn't try to refer me to the retention department or take any action to keep my 20 plus year relationship with Verizon. I made good on my promise to the rep to immediately contact another provider, took all 4 lines away from Verizon to the new provider and I'm saving $90 a month. Verizon corporate needs to be more cognizant of the actions of their customer service reps in the Philippines and what they say to clients, I'm sure I'm not the only long term client that has left due to an abrasive interaction with their customer service reps. read more

After my phone was water damaged, I decided to check out the offers this Verizon Center was offering to new customers, as my phone service was with Spectrum at the time. As I walked in the place I was received with a warm and friendly welcomed, which made me feel at ease. They were busy at the time, but didn't hesitate to check me in and politely explained that a representative would be with me shortly. Meanwhile the staff member that checked me in, briefly explained the offers and difference in prices being offered and had me wait for only a few minutes for the next available representative. I was then introduced to Amaya Brooks. I explained to her the issues I was having with my phone and express the need for a new phone service. I was kind of nervous and was lacking a little confidence, because reality is, I am not technologically savvy at all. She patiently helped me step by step with contacting Spectrum representatives, who gave me such a hard time in releasing a transfer PIN number, that I ended up having to go back home to find the information I need it on my own. The following day I returned to this same Verizon Center. As I walked in Amaya remembered me and greeted me in the same professional welcoming manner. Again she assisted me in contacting Spectrum representatives, which at first were being difficult to deal with, but eventually provided the transfer pin I needed. From that point on Amaya made the remaining of the transition better than perfect. She helped me not only with the service transfer to my new lines, but also into understanding my new phones and saving me extra cash with a few of my streaming TV channels, like Netflix, Disney, ESPN, Hulu. I will definitely recommend this Verizon Center to anyone looking for any kind of assistance from Verizon. Specially to anyone like me, who is not tech savvy. I give this place, Amaya, and all staff members a well deserved five stars review. read more

Free trial (30 days) of in home Wifi. No cables - just plug it in. Shower than cables, but we only have 2 people here, so it is enough. $35 per month vs Spectrum $89. Plus no cables in my home or in my yard (which I seem to find every time i dig in the yard. ) If you have major Wifi bandwidth needs this may not be for you. I bought a phone case bundle from this store in June and the screen protector cracked. I went in to get help and they offered me a free clear one, but when I said that mine was a privacy one they just handed me a website to go to...why did I bother going back to the store? Why not just shop online...this may be why retail is dying. Ps. You should never chaw on a hunk of gum while helping people; it's off putting. On a better note the business replied and hoped for a better outcome on my next visit; a nice reply. I guess that will depend on the customer service if I change my carrier. Horrible experience. All the staff cares about is upselling. If you dont want to be treated like dirt once you refuse to purchase accessories I would avoid this store! Staff is not current on information regarding new releases and will mislead you just so you will make a purchase, even if the upgrade will be released in week. The manager is rude and not caring again its all about the money and if you need assistance with setting up a new phone or transferring from one phone to another they send you home with an app and no assistance from them. We went into to the store to get information on a cell phone booster, as we are moving to the country and will not have a good signal. Christopher was very helpful with answering all our questions, and understood, that because we are currently renting and coming off the landlord's wifi, that we cannot hookup until we get moved into our new place. However, he reviewed our account and explained that we could get the device for free. (I'm pretty sure that it used one of our free phone upgrades, but we don't plan to upgrade anytime soon, so I'm ok with that). We were in and out of that store in less than 5 minutes with a free cell phone booster in hand. I have never gotten out of a cell phone store that quickly. I have been a Verizon customer for over 13 years. This store was the only store I ever went to to upgrade my phone ect. I use to love the place, always was happy until the last time I went. My contract expired about the same time Verizon announced they were doing away with them. Went in to see how that would change anything. I was totally taken off guard by the aggression of the person I spoke to, I never wanted a tablet, never said I was upgrading to anything, just wanted info. I have never been treated so badly here but one other time, when I had to replace the cord on my phone that, not only had insurance from Verizon, had a warranty from APPLE, and was told by customer support it would be free, well the women behind the counter was very rude, spoke to me like I was a child, even though Verizon said of course we will exchange she was if it is not in computer NO? Then she had the nerve to tell me it was caused by yanking the cord out of the phone? HUH I am not ten! I wrote that off as she was just a rude person who didn't know how to treat a customer. However, after that, the next encounter, and Identity theft through there "My Verizon" there total unwillingness to help the police, them never ever contacting me to say they where sorry I had to change everything because of this, I think I am done.. Sad to because it is the only store in this area, won't go again. I use to tell everyone Verizon best ever, not so much anymore. read more
