This is by far the worst Verizon store I've ever seen. There's one customer in the store with three people working. Two of the workers were talking to each other and when I walked in one they we'll be with you in a little while. A little while? I guess they're just so fat they needed to go eat something first. I had high hopes that my experience at the Verizon store would be better than I had at a different Verizon store 5 years ago. It was not. We spoke to the manager of the store two days before we went back in to purchase iPhone 16s and an Apple Watch. The manager gave us the cost of the phones and service and it sounded like a great deal. The actual prices weren't the same as what we were told. We felt rushed and ignored. A customer in the store told me to buy our phones at the Apple Store. I bought my Apple Watch there and highly recommend them. I will never go into that store again. I spoke to two Verizon reps on the phone before my purchase and was told completely different information and that's why I went into the store btw. read more

This place is HORRIBLE!!!! When you walk in you are not even greeted, in which I don't care too much about but there was several of us waiting in line and we talked amongst ourselves and made our own line. Now for the part that really made me upset and angry the sales person Jonathan!!!! My Aunt returned her watch there within the 30 day limit he did not cancel her contract and she started getting billed for it. She contacted Verizon they said she needed to go to the store where she returned it. After waiting in the line for over an hour that we formed by honor system because again nobody in the store greeted any customers we were told by Jonathan's snarky unprofessional attitude that we need to go to a corporate store all the while with a big grin saying there's nothing he can do. When we went to the corporate store we spoke to someone there that told us we had to speak to someone at a Victra store but NEVER go to that store on 1427 S Tamiami Trail and gave us the address for the store on Clark Road when we went there they greeted us as soon as we walked in and we were helped and the problem was solved within 30 minutes. I usually don't take the time to write reviews but I'm making an exception here, because the service I received was some of the worst I ever experienced. I'm from Canada living in the US part-time and was looking to get data and a number. The salesperson took a long time to understand what it was I want. To set up the account, she asked for a contact number, sold me a sim, then asked for the number again, only to tell me the number doesn't exist. If that sounds confusing, believe me it was much more confusing actually sitting there. Unfortunately it didn't end there and the salesperson addressed me in a non-professional, accusatory tone that I was refusing to give her the number. As part of the process of trying to trace my account she also asked me to tell her my pin for the account, which doesn't seem right. After 45 unpleasant minutes during which I was made to feel like I was a shady individual, I was directed to head office and left with a sim but nothing else. I went to a T mobile nearby where everything was done efficiently and politely. It was a better value too: $50/month calls and unlimited data vs. $75/month calls and 15 GB. I don't understand how the interaction at Verizon could have gone the way it did. Whether the salesperson had completely no idea how to do her work, or there was something else behind it. My suggestion: avoid. read more

Just had a great experience with John. He a nice guy and most importantly he was HONEST. He was straight forward, answered all of my questions, and when he didn't know the answer he made sure to look it up or to seek clarification from his superiors. Shady business. Matthew Litty will promise you non-existing discounts, and try to scam you just to make a sale, while you foot the bill for something you don't need and/or can't afford. Avoid at all cost. I general try to avoid "authorized retailers", they don't have good quality or integrity assurance as the corporate stores - this is a great example of that. read more

The store clerk (Izzy) was very uninterested in helping us, and we were trying to move to Verizon from AT&T! She sat there eating tortilla chips, and warned us that, "...if you want to save money, don't go to Verizon; it's the most expensive carrier!" She said she had an appointment outside the store and couldn't complete the transaction. She told us to schedule an appointment and "...we would be given preference over everyone, no matter what." So, we scheduled another trip, returned the next day, and sat there for 30 minutes while she waited on another customer. So, we left, and will never return. AVOID THIS STORE - IT IS NOT A VERIZON COMPANY STORE. read more

After finding the store that had the product Verizon made us an appointment. The employees have NO idea that we had an appointment. After 45 minutes we were told it would take another 30 minutes. It took another 45 to be seen. The reason you get an appointment...because we are all busy. The rating of 1 is for the ridiculous lack of connection between Verizon and the dealer. If I could give this store a negative review I would. My father went into the store because he had a cracked screen. The employee, Frank, decided to take advantage of this and sell him on an upgrade and convincing him that this "new Google" phone ($1000) was the best thing out there. Never mentioned anything about being able to pay $150 to have the screen replaced. Sold him an otterbox (which is a very durable and protective case) with a screen protector that he said would fit and it didnt. Frank would not transfer or set up the new phone for him and sent him out of the store. After a couple of hours of not being able to fully use the phone, he was frustrated and wanted to return the Google phone and go back to Samsung and get the S9+. So I drove him to the store, explained to Frank the situation, without giving the chance for us to get all of our concerns out, he was making fun of my Dad for not "giving the phone a chance". Not for nothing but if a consumer is not happy with the product there should be no questions or comments made against the consumer. He had 14 days to return the phone, he was returning within that timeframe. As we continued to work with Frank, he put us and our opinions down several times. Did tell us as well that the customer is NEVER right. I'm sorry to say but in any Customer service situation, and as much as you as the manager or the employee don't want to accept it, the consumer is right. That's business 101. Continued telling us we dont know what we're talking about and that the Samsung is not a good phone and the otterbox was crap. Odd part was the pegs on the walls said what was supposed to be on them (Otterbox) were empty. I'd say it's pretty popular. Not only that he told us some bogus story about the Otterbox rep coming to the store and telling him that the products are never tested. And then telling us that this other brand was drop tested and verified from an 8 foot drop. THATS A MARKETING PLOY!!! Everything is tested before it hits the market, else how do they know if it's going to be a good quality product?!?! Then when asked if the location was a Corporate or an Authorized Retailer, he states they are Premium with a smirk on his face. I again ask what the difference is, he just states they are premium. Premium is the same as an authorized retailer and both are COMPLETELY different then Corporate. We were prepared to purchase the S9+ there, however, once the return was made, and he refused to set up the phone, we made the decision to not purchase with them. We went to an actual CORPORATE location and they were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Which Frank also said they would NOT HELP us either!! I would highly recommend NOT going to this store EVER, FOR ANYTHING!!! When working with a CORPORATE location the customer service is much better, the employees are polite, knowledgeable, respectful and appreciative of working with the consumer. I CANNOT SAY THIS ENOUGH, DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!! FRANK SHOULD BE FIRED OR THE STORE SHOULD BE CLOSED!!! read more

Please note this is not a Verizon store...just a verizon retailer. Checked in today and waited over 2 hours to purchase a screen protector on my Verizon phone. Other customers came in after me and because they were interested in purchasing phones, were served first. This occured 5 times before i realized they are not there for any real service...just new phone sales. And i finally left as it was clear they were not going to help me. Silly me... now i know to go to a real Verizon store if i need sales or service. read more

I was out to lunch with a friend at a nearby resturant. My friend had just gotten a new phone and I was very impressed with the quality of the camera. Upon leaving the resturant we spotted the Victra store on Tamiami and decided to go in for a look. I was greeted immediately my the store manager Frank. He was very polite and knowledgeable about the phones and clearly explained all the differences between them. Now mind you I was just looking but was eligible for an upgrade. I ended up purchasing a new phone. Frank took his time to make sure all my information was transferred into the new phone. Frank put me at ease and I didn't feel pressured at all. If you like small businesses and not a very busy large pushy store I would recommend you stopping in. I will not go anywhere else from now on. read more

Jonathon was an awesome person to have assisting me. He is very knowledgeable and courteous. I went to this location on my lunch break and as it got busier he greeted every person coming in, explained at what time he could help them and kept a smile on his face. The salesman Aaron was the most self righteous obnoxious person I've ever met. Place was empty and he acted like I was crampin his style. Never again. There's a "real" store down the street and if you can't be cool enough to sell me a phone then you can sit there with no customers. read more

Stay away from this store and All Victra locations. Daniel spent a half hour with a person who had a contract with a competitor and no intention of giving him an order. I just leased 3 phones a few weeks ago and pay over $300/month and he no interest in helping me because he wasn't getting a sale on the spot. I will never visit this store again. read more
