My husband and I went to upgrade his phone today. We were greeted very friendly by Mohamed. He provided us with great customer service!

I visited this Verizon location recently to complete a trade-in and was assisted by a manager. While the transaction itself was completed, I later became aware that comments were made about my appearance after I left the store. As a paying customer, I found this extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I was dressed in a Juicy Couture sweatsuit, which was clean, appropriate, and completely unrelated to the service I was there to receive. Customers should not have to worry about being judged or discussed by employees after they leave. What made me uncomfortable was not the outfit itself, but the fact that a manager felt it was appropriate to comment on a customer's appearance with other employees. Professionalism and respect should be extended to every customer regardless of what they are wearing. I hope Verizon addresses this, as it left me with a negative impression of what should have been a routine customer service experience. read more

Adrian... what can I say. He was helpful and was able to help me accomplish what I needed to do there. If you need a decently honest sales person, he's your guy. Just make sure to keep it to the point or the conversations and wait periods can be VERY long due to other deciding factors that surrounds the place. I went in to get help with my phone plan and they gave me a horrible attitude, Refused to fully explain my plan, did not care about helping me, and then walked off and refused to help me, leaving me standing there even more confused than when I walked in. Arrived and checked and told me it would be an hour across the street to Popeyes came back 45 minutes later asked them how much longer he said one more person in front of me. I waited another hour and a half as people came and got help and left. I went back and asked him what's going on. He gave me a total attitude and refused to help me. I spent 2 1/2 hours at this store. I accompanied a person who had many problems with her account and it took a while to smooth things out. The staff, in particular Chrissie, was very, very patient. Piece by piece we unraveled the problem and got her account back on track with lowered charges. The services was exceptional. read more

After leaving your store, we visited the Colma location and experienced excellent customer service there. Unfortunately, the San Bruno location needs significant improvement in this area. The staff member ( young girl) was unprofessional, leaving us unattended for an extended period, and the manager was unavailable. Amenn the manager, he said he's the manager after we asked to speak to one, well, he need his attitude checked he has humiliated me and my husband when we were there needing help for iPhone. Phone wasn't making calls or long distance he said "well let me check if you paid your bill" I was angry with his behaviors. Of course our bill is up to date we paid our bill on time automatic payment every monthly. After we argued we left and now we're looking to change carriers to AT&T or Xfinity. The leadership at this establishment is horrible. Today, August 1st, 2023, I needed a charger for my hotspot device, so I go to Verizon. The manager Amean tried to sell me a few products but when I started to have questions to make the best decision, he got short and aggressive. So I asked if there was anybody else that could help. He told me no. He said he was the manger & that he could put me in the Que. he told me he could not get someone else to assist me again after I requested additional assistance due to his resistance to answer my questions. He told his team member to not help me as well as she was the only other agent on the floor and told her I was being difficult. I had never spoken to her, and her responses were, "well we told you this, and we told you that." Whole time she was never on the floor when me and this man was speaking. So I said you never told me anything so I didn't understand what you told me, we never spoke. Through all this, a customer congratulated me on how I handled it, she said if it was somebody else, they would have addressed him differently. He really put me in the Queue after two people to purchase a charger. Entire time, he has me checked in with an agent on the app. So it looks like I am being helped, for over an hour, when actuality I am not. After 30 minutes, I begin to ask questions. The manager isn't able to help with a purchase? Amean tells me no, he can not. AND that he can not get somebody else to help me. I ask "Why does it say I am with a specialist when I am not." The manager proceeded to say I have to wait for somebody. Fast forward, as I am asking questions and wondering why I am receiving horrible service. A team member comes out and he is willing to help me. Amean, the manager, proceeds to reject the help from another team member that is willing to help me. The team member willing to help went to the back to get his tablet. I told the Manager that he was not living up to his name. & he said I was throwing racial slurs at him. This gave him enough to call the SSF police to escort me out for cussing, being loud, and saying racial slurs.---his words, not mine----I could not believe this. I had been waiting for an hour at this point. I have been with Verizon for OVER 5 years, I have never been treated like this. To buy a charger for a Verizon JetPack. This establishment needs another Manager. He does not deescalate situations and in fact escalate them. This experience is making me question my entire business with Verizon. As a customer I should receive the best service, as well accurate information to assist me. I was told many times, that the manager could not help, and his only and primary job was to check people in. Verizon, you should really check in with your team members at this store. I suggest doing so when the manager is not around. As I was speaking to a team member, asking questions about the manager, he stormed from behind the wall to address me. I did not know he was listening, or in the room. I am sure he does this to other team members. Does not create a safe environment. They are really being mislead, and better leadership is what is needed to help this store thrive and better serve their customers better. I hope we get a new manager at this store to display better leadership. Usually going to a phone store is not fun no matter the company or branch. However Cameron at this location was amazing! He first helped out my parents and they really liked him and he helped them get their new phones. They liked him so much they sent my uncle to see him to get my grandfather a new phone. This one is directly for Amin, if you can't be civilized to Verizon's customers don't leave your house, quit and stay home. From the minute we walk in you were aggressive and rude, you kept saying "as I said" when you had not told us the full information. Your coworker did not even take the time to get all out information and pushed us out the door saying we had to make an appointment and when we come back two hours later for said appointment you don't even apologize you immediately become combative and rude. By far one of the most hostile customer services experience I've had. AMIN kept saying he IS the manager and nearly lost it when we suggested we had spoken to his manager earlier. The manager Amxxx (His name started with "Am", forgot the full spelling, may be Amore or something). He is such a jerk, rude manger. It's seems like there are other complaints on the rude manager in this Verizon location. It could be the same guy. It's a Wed late morning, like 11am. Not a busy time in the store. We walked in to ask about the options for a broken phone since the phone insurance needs $200 deductible fee and our iPhone is kind old. We want to see if we can upgrade our plan to get a new phone instead. The manager told us we won't tell the plan option unless you want it today. "Plan change as the sun rinse".... We shut our mouth and left. We checked out ATT and found out new account with new phone option in the next block. The option on iPhone 12 is around the same as Version as we checked few months back, around 50% off. It is just became of the bad manager at Verizon in this location. We switched to ATT. We went back to the store and asked for the transfer PIN. The same manager served us. His eyes looked shock. He got it for us rudely of course. He didn't ask why or offer anything. The general manager Dwight and his assistant manager Chrissy were amazing!!! We were having issues trying to claim a warranty on my phone through Assyrian and they spent 2 hours (1 of those hours being after the store closed) on the phone with me trying to get to the bottom of it. They refused to give up on me and made me feel as though it was no inconvenience that I was keeping them at work longer. They truly just cared about helping me, not all heros wear capes!! read more

The manager Amean (spelling?)was very unprofessional and retaliatory when I try to explain that his sales person (Hao) set up an appointment with me on text message and did not explain that an official appointment was necessary. My elderly mom and I waited 1.5 hours for this irresponsible salesperson because he had started the order the week before and had made a mess of the order so I didn't want to explain the mess to another new sales. I have shopped at this location MANY times over the years (only ever been with Verizon, and before when it wasn't even called that) but haven't been in awhile because I went in a couple of years ago (like 2?) and they all ignored me . . . I went in Saturday out of desperation. I had stupidly bought/upgraded to a smartphone on Verizon.com and got a PALM Pre. Never get a PALM Pre!!!! It had frozen (like a horrible old PC) for the second time of the day and I was mad and done . . . I drove down in the rain ready for a fight to get an upgrade or new phone. I walked in and they have a check-in person . . . I gave her my name and she added me to a list. She told me it would be like 5-8 minute wait. I wandered an looked at phones and then CHRIS called my name. I whipped out my frozen phone and Chris giggled, he already knew it was a crap phone. He already knew I needed a bigger better phone. He told me, after looking at my account, that I did not have to use my Hubs upgrade (since he needed a new phone too) but that he would get me a manager approved early upgrade since my phone keeps crashing. I was so happy - no fight, no argument - he showed me the 3 different Driods they have available and we talked thru them all. I walked out spending a pretty penny but had a new Driod X for myself, a new text easy phone (non-smart) for the Hubs and 3 new accessories for us . . . but getting 2 rebates back. CHRIS was awesome, down-to-earth, and easy to deal with. He also spent a good deal of time showing me the ease of using the Driod :) read more

I had some troubling issues happen when I switched from AT&T. I took a solid week with about 30 hours of headaches dealing with over phone customer service issues. But Devin the assistant manager at Verizon south San Francisco, was right there with me hammering out these issues. It was her who was able to fix the issues with my phone line. She should be commended for handling this issue with grace and the upmost customer service.
