There are several locations and i would look elsewhere. They are under staffed causing long waits. Often only one employee and hate to say the knowledge and helpfulness sometimes aren't there. Talk about hit or miss. One day the gentlemen is a big help, suggesting the ideal phone, explaining the policies, explaining the process when the new phones arrives, etc...I wish I had his name. Model employee according to my interaction. But then apparently the JV team is running the shop on the day the phone arrives....so we thought. We call to confirm if the phone had arrived since we were in the area, and they advised us that it just arrived. The young lady working at the time was a rude, new employee, being trained by a pushy sales focused employee. No focus on service! She never smiled, she wouldn't answer questions, she acted like we didn't exist while she set up the phone. Her trainer person pulled her aside in what appeared to be coaching moment, but his criticism was that she needed to try to sell screen protectors and accessories with every new phone. What a Poor example of a mentor/trainer! After the phone set up was complete, payment was made, and no "Thank You for your service" was offered, we left. 10-15 minutes from the store, we get a call from the store. "Ma'm, you have the wrong phone." (No, you gave me the wrong phone.) Are you kidding me? Not an apology. But a request to turn around and return the phone. Now we have to experience this rude young lady with no people skills and her pushy mentor again. What a poor customer experience! They did refund the payment properly. Our phone arrived just today...Wish us luck. UPDATE! New, friendlier attitude by both of the same representatives showed today and was appreciated. They even threw in a free screen protector. I am upgrading my review to 3 stars, because everyone can have a 'bad day'. These were the words included in the apology 'Bad Day'. We can all relate and hopefully her apology was sincere. Customer Service can be exhausting, but human decency and kindness should be natural. Thank you for ending this with a positive customer experience. read more

Terrible experience at Verizon store in Springboro. Way under staffed , one employee in the store. I waited 2+ hours to be helped. I asked to use the restroom, was told that was not available to the public. 2+ hours or more of waiting in their store with no restroom available to their customers seems pretty unbelievable. Maybe a Porta Potty in the parking lot ? Hope everyone else has a better visit than I experienced. My family has now been to this store twice in the last year. They like to take your money but apparently don't know what they are doing. I bought a new phone a year ago and came home after being at the store for over 2 hrs and still had to work another hour to get it going because it was not set up properly. My grandson went this morning, charged him to swith his replacement phone over and then couldn't figure it out. My family will not be returning to this store again. read more

Avoid this Verizon store unless you like to be lied to and basically told your phone is a piece of junk and you should buy a new one. Everything I stopped in to ask about with my phone and was told I couldn't do and that my phone wouldn't do....well I can and it would. When we went in we were just thinking about switching, the guy there said he couldn't cancel once he transferred ou phones. He lied about needing four lines four the bogo, he claimed my moms phone wouldn't work, but later we got it working, and he sold us three chargers three liq glass protectors, and two screen protecters. My dads phone had a charger, we found chargers at Walmart for cheaper, and the other stuff turned out to be nonrefundable, which we also were not told, go wireless should not be an authorized dealer, they are straight up crooks. read more

Some employees are willing to go the extra step whereas others skim by on checking information due to it being an extra step on their part. This store is always out of screen protectors too. Unfortunately, one star is the lowest I can give. I am beyond livid at the service I received at this location. Chad, the manager, as he told me he was, is beyond dishonest. This is my opinion, based only on my own experience. I went in to get a new phone. I wanted an iphone. He expressed his opinion that Apple was about 4 years behind Android. He comes across as knowledgeable and I listened to what he had to say. Based on that, I purchased a Samsung A50. To make a long story short, I was not satisfied with my purchase. I called Verizon since many people are working at home and I thought this was my best avenue. Chad charged me a $150 "deposit" on the new phone. Then I got a contract with Verizon for the A50 at $369.99. Subseqently, I learned that the A50 costs $369.99. So, where did my $150 "deposit" go. Well, he charged me $79.99 for a GoAdvantage SMARTPHONE 4.1S that I did not purchase. Also charged me for a SAMSUNG A50 DUALPRO BLACK something that I did not purchase. In short, I was OVER CHARGED by about $150.00 as I look back at the charges and credits. For a phone that costs $369.99 if you go to Verizon. He did not know that I was on a 3 way call with him and Verizon and tried to tell Verizon Customer Care that I had purchased a package with screen protector, etc. This was a lie. He told me that they were "giving" me a screen protector and case. I could go on with more details but I am beyond disgusted. Enough said. If I could give 0 Stars I would. I would advise NOT to do business at this store, specifically with Chad!! They are dishonest and tried to rip me off. I visited this store (right next to Donatos in Springboro) on 1/31/17 to get a new battery in my iPhone 6. A little background....my phone's battery has been draining rapidly for months, immediately following my last Apple update. I heard about the class action lawsuits recently against Apple for purposefully causing battery and phone speed deficits with their updates (presumably to force customers to buy new phones), and I read that as a result Apple is offering new batteries for all customers with iPhone 6 or newer. So...I went into the Springboro Verizon dealer and spoke with CHAD. After explaining that I needed a new battery, he confidently assured me that it is "not possible to change the battery in an iPhone 6" because "it has an internal battery" (what phone has an external battery??). I disagreed with him, even citing Apple's offer to change the battery for $29. He said he knew nothing of the lawsuit or the offer for new batteries. He told me my only solution was to upgrade to a new phone. And his manager was 5 feet away and able to hear the whole conversation. He did not step in to correct the info he was spewing. I told him he was full of crap, and I promptly left and called both Verizon and Apple Customer Suupport. Both assured me that the battery in my phone can absolutely be changed, and that anyone working for Verizon should and would be aware of the new battery offer from Apple. So my husband called and spoke to Chad, asking him what he had just advised me to do. Chad blatantly LIED and told him that he had advised me to contact Apple to get a new battery! My husband called him out on the lie and all Chad gave were excuses (no apologies). So I decided to confront Chad face to face to hear him out and allow him to apologize. However all he offered were lots of excuses, no apologies. I informed him what Verizon and Apple had both told me, and that it was his job to be informed of the latest I informed him that we have frequented that store for years and purchased 4 phones from them, as well as cases and accessories, but will never be back there. I feel it is important that I spread the word that these employees are dishonest! I will be going directly to the Apple Store at The Green in beavercreek to get my new $29 battery this week. Every time I need any product or help in any way this is my go to store. Never a long wait and everyone is super nice and helpful. I have never been steered in the wrong direction after many visits. I am challenged when it comes to technology and they are always patient with me and my husband! Just bought a new phone from Alyssa who was patient, kind and super smart. This is my go to Verizon store. I've been coming here for 6 years. I've never had a problem nor been steered in the wrong way in fact just the opposite. Jack is now store manager has always been helpful with both my choice of plans or phones. His sales folks are just has good, Chad has always been great. Alyssa helped my wife and daughter this time and she was just great. Taking time to explain their new phones and making sure everything important to them got transferred. I know that if they have any questions or concerns with their phones they can easily get them answered here. HORRIBLE PLACE! Chad R. is very passive aggressive (mainly aggressive), refuses to return calls, and added over 100.00 of extras I did NOT ask for. Verizon Corporate says he should return those items but he refuses. Jack, the manager, will not return calls. When I went back in, Chad was obnoxious and refuses to help in any way. I will be putting in complaints to BBB and Corporate Verizon, although this store is NOT run by Verizon. I suspect the only good review must have been written by themselves. read more

THESE PEOPLE ARE CONS. I would give a ZERO STARS IF I COULD. When the new iPhone 7 trade in program came, these people acted all professional and behaved like normal sales associates, but when we traded in our old iPhones for the new iPhone 7, they assured us that we would get credited on our account and the phone would essentially be free. Then they required us to buy an accessory or we wouldn't get to buy the phone!!! Thought it was all normal at first... a couple month down the road, our bill only got higher. After calling Verizon customer service, they said that there was absolutely no record of a trade in and our old phones couldn't even be tracked!!!! Going through the receipt they gave us, it had go wireless written all over it but no Verizon logo. They just assured us it would work and said a box would come in the mail to subit our old phones. Looking back, the boxes were exact replicas to official Verizon trade in boxes but they never reached the Verizon trade in department (obviously because we couldn't tell the difference). Now we have to pay FULL PRICE for our iPhone 7's and lost good, perfectly fine iPhone 6's. Also when contacting them back, the guy that sold us the phones quit and was NOWHERE TO BE FOUND.
