Representatives are not very friendly towards minors. For example my daughter came in to get help with her phone and got 3 different answers to the same question. We even called Verizon at home and spoke to a tech and was told even another answer. Pretty much I wish Verizon could be a little more consistent with heir information. Now getting back to customer service, they need to just be a little friendlier especially to the young people. Set a better example. read more

Came in Wednesday 20th of Jan. Horrible experience. I work in real estate and car sales at the moment. We don't even treat people like this. I came up to the guy and asked what to do about trading in my phone and upgrading. He legit took 2 minutes to reply. Beep boop beep boop bop. Total robot. After two minutes past he finally replied. Basically they do not do In store sales. And being that I'm in sales I need all my info transferred. When you work sales you do not buy before seeing or testing the product. Which you no longer get to experience apparently at any Verizon location. Not great way to conduct business. The guy was clueless not sure if he was new but even if your new seriously dude why do you take forever to reply to any question. If anyone is wondering what he looks like so you can personally request someone who has brain cells. He was white blonde balding hair and older. Thinking of switching to another company at the rate that Verizon is handling covid situation. Also do not even bother calling the telephone sales or trying to schedule a appt there directions do not work. And the tele numbers take hours to answer ur call. We went Friday and were helped by James. He was super! He even shared that I could get a better plan on my phone. I was there to change services on an I pad not my phone, however he was looking at my entire service. We went back Saturday and Sal helped us as I decided to trade in my phone and change to the better plan. Both days the experience was great! Decided to bypass the store in picking up a new phone and ordered it through Verizon's chat. They completed the purchase and asked me to pick up my new phone at this Verizon location. When I showed up, they handed me a bag and walked off. I asked if they could help me set it up and the associate said that they don't do that anymore...laughing that "I must not have switched phones in awhile". I asked if it was ready to go and she said "yes.". I got home and tried to walk through the steps to set up the phone to find out that it was not set up and that I would need to call the 800 number to set up the phone. Will never go back. read more

If you have a verizon service account at your home and you plan to move, beware. You must schedule your move out date to align with their billing cycles. We moved out on the first of the month and had all of our services turned off that day. Frontier/Verizon can tell the services were no longer active and there were several calls between them and my husband. Because he has dealt with this type of thing before he keeps meticulous records about the date and time and person he spoke to when ending services. Regardless, we got a bill for the entire month even though no services were used. When my husband called about it they of course had no record that we called to cancel services and would not listen to my husband when he told them the name and date and time of his previous calls. We were told that no service company prorates and that we should not expect any money back for having paid for a full month of services we did not use. read more

Please be aware that this store is NOT A VERIZON STORE- it is an authorized retailer...which they do not disclose to you and represent themselves as a Verizon store. Also be aware that they claim to be "allowed" to charge fees additional to what verizon will charge you. I went it for my annual upgrade. They charged me a "set up fee" which i was told was the "Activation Fee". Fast forward a couple of weeks and I see on my Verizon bill a $30 activation fee. Call Verizon and they tell me that its standard when you upgrade- totally fine. But why was I charged at the store? Call back the store...they say its their "set up fee" which includes "activation". The guy was totally rude- mind you everyone that works there is a kid that thinks they are in the professional corporate world because they are a "manager" of a glorified kiosk. If you are lucky, you may get a 21 year old. In addition, they know nothing about the phone itself. Although the "manager" Jonathan had an iphone himself, he was completely confused about the icloud, its purpose and its operation. He did not know how to transfer all of the information from one phone to another...unbelievable. Save your energy, money and frustration by instead going to a real Verizon store, with adult employees. Save this one for the high schoolers that can walk across the street from school, which is probably where the employees go. read more

As I walked in the door this morning, I was greeted by Shawn the Assistant Manager, and Bryan a Sales Representative. I briefly explained why I was there and Bryan immediately assured me I was in the right spot. I just upgraded my iPhone 4S to the iPhone 5S, and was there to have my old phone appraised and obtain the promised $200 trade in. Bryan concurred that the phone was in pristine condition. He explained the different options and I choose to have the amount applied to my Verizon Account. He was low keyed when he explained a new promotion for Home Phone Connect, which I probably will change over to. The staff at this Verizon Corporate Store, know what they are doing and are experts in customer service. I would highly recommend that you patronize this store for your wireless needs. read more

I experienced excellent customer service from Kyle. He took hid time and broke down the plans to save me the most money. He installed the clear adhesive on my new phone and was equally as helpfull during returns and exchanges. He ensured everything was to my liking every time I left the store. Was visiting Murrieta and went to this store to upgrade, talked to Andy at the store and he recommended the edge program. He explained it as if the edge program required $180 per phone I found out after I left the store that he actually sold me what they call the Platinum bundle along with the phone. Be very cautious I called him the next day and he told me to read the heading above the device cost which says your "package includes". He said I could return the platinum bundle. The point is that at no time did he explain to me that I could join edge for no cost. I feel like a fool allowing him to talk me into it. Very questionable sales tactic he just kept saying that Verizon taught him how to sell it. Shady salesman if you go edge you do not have to by anything else watch out when they pull out the worksheet it is snake oil. read more

I could immediately feel that he was being honest in trying to help me with my situation. I hope this is the correct store, but I recently visited the Verizon store outside the Promenade mall, and want to express my gratitude for the customer service. I came in with a hardwired malfunction (white screen of death) iPhone, in a frenzied panic, after being out of the country for months and waiting just until I got back home to have my phone fixed or replaced. Apple has been a disaster to work with, both in customer service, and with the ridiculousness of expensive technology that never seem to be able to function. The Apple store was right around the corner but was a 12 HOUR WAIT for help, so I decided to ask Verizon, my second Verizon store drop in of the day. I had already been to my local Verizon store, whom also had not been helpful with a broken piece of technology and no one seeming to know what to do to fix, repair, or replace it. I cannot express how awesome the whole team at this store was, to both my nerves, my account, and my poor sad broken phone. The staff listened to me, came up with creative solutions time and time again as we trouble shot, and worked with me for about 3 hours to resolve my issues, all while being sympathetic and understanding, even during the frenzied rush of a Saturday night during the holiday shipping season. The gentleman I was working with even stayed past his shift to help work with me through my phone issues, and truly took to the time to understand the situation. The floor manager was equally as helpful and assisted me the next day when I needed to return to finish up the new set up. I originally came in just about in tears, but they really worked as a team to figure out a solution for me, and I left wanting to give them a hug. THANK YOU for the help, and understanding when we lose a phone or phone capability, it really is scary, and thank you for hearing the people and concerns beyond the emotions. read more

I'm very disappointed in this store. We went earlier in the year and switched our whole family from sprint. We dealt with a gentleman with glasses who was super helpful and friendly and honest (maybe because the commission was big). We went in again yesterday to add a line and dealt with John something, and he was extremely rude and almost degrading. He wasn't helpful when we were trying to use a phone we already had (there were heavy sighs), then when we were discussing purchasing a phone he was almost tapping his toes like we were wasting his time because I didn't want to buy my 11-year-old an iPhone X (really?!). Bottom line, if you aren't going into this store to drop hundreds of dollars on the newest iPhone, expect terrible service. These guys are sharks just wanting a big sale, find another Verizon to help you, but good luck because they are all the same. read more

First of all, I understand this is a Verizon store and the 20 Verizon employees plus (I stopped counting) are there to sell, sell, sell. There is nothing wrong with that. They even have the place set up like an Apple Store (the model, I suppose, of how to be successful these days, considering how Windows opened an almost identical concept right next to their store in Mission Viejo Mall), and they all wearing listening devices, holding tablets, and as soon as you enter they sort you out after a proper greeting, and then, hopefully, you buy something or the other. I probably disrupted their designed concept when I walked in with a problem I had with my Fios service at home. The issue could not be solved over the phone, apparently, for I spent better part of the weekend calling this big giant named Verizon. So I decided to go to a store, where in theory there is supposed to be very efficient personnel that could easily help me resolve my problem. When I entered I was greeted in a friendly manner and asked my purpose for my visit. I explained as clear as I am capable: I had recently acquired Fios for my new residence in Temecula. I had Internet (lightning fast, truly a revelation), Television and and Phone (land, not cellular). Upon realizing that the DVRs that came with the installation process where lacking sufficient storage, I immediately contacted Verizon and requested their more ample version of 500GB? to replace one of the 3 DVR they brought. I do a lot of recording so I can return home and watch programs at my convenience. After charging me $39.95 for the exchange (those are the little tricky ways they get you, I guess), they send the DVR I requested which came in the record time of 1 day. I was aware I had to use the box in which the DVR came to sent back the one it was replacing. So I put the crappy one in the box, used the provided label, and went directly to an authorized drop off place for UPS. I received my drop off ticket with the tracking number and went back home. Days after I decided to check on the UPS ticket and found that the package had been lost. Called UPS and was immediately transferred to the Lost department, where they told me they had lost it. I was advised that all I had to do was call Verizon, provide them with the TN, and that I would no longer be liable for payment of the package sent. So I spent a few hours calling and that's when the frustration began. I could not get anyone capable enough to deal with this issue. All I needed was to talk to someone regarding the issue of equipment loss and give them the UPS information. First I talked with Mexico, with a dude that could not comprehend anything of what I was saying, then I called again and spoke to another representative who after wasting my time put me on hold, only for the line to go dead. So I was at the end of my rope. I figured going to a physical store, where managers and highly trained professionals work, that this problem would be solved in no time. After I was greeted by the half wit greeter, I was told I had to wait until the Verizon Fios representative (the only one, apparently) finished what he was doing and then I would be assisted. From that moment the minutes starting flying and after almost an hour, and me pissed off and asking to speak to a manager (which never happened, they have a funny way to not let it happen), the same greeter came to me with a telephone number and told me basically to go back home and call. By then I simply told him: You telling me that after waiting for an hour you want me to go home and call this number? He gave me some lame excuse, at which point I realized I was talking to someone way over his head. I know that in this kind of place there is hierarchy, and I had hoped that if I was able to locate one in the higher ranks, higher on the pay scale and training, I would accomplish my task. Not to be. They all look busy like bees but they are basically doing no more than talk to each other, or to the occasional customer at that time of the day, revealing themselves to be an ineffectual force. Verizon is very powerful but their level of competence in the customer service area, after a customer has made a purchase, is below par. A terrible exhibition of useless assistance. Finally, after I demanded a solution, they put me on the phone at their store and I had to do all the talk and I think I was able to talk to the correct representative. I hate the Dentist, but these sob's made me wish I was at the dentist for at least my teeth would be healthier. Fast to sell, confusing and chaotic to assist. The one star is for the air conditioning in the place, it was nice and cool. 1 Star. read more

First of all, I was shamed for returning a product. The work was not thorough. A lot of what was said to be "done and taken care of" by the worker, was not. A lot of the information I was given wasn't consistent with headquarters. I had to do everything that was claimed to be "done and taken care of" by the worker. If the workers were more thorough with their work I think I would have had a better experience. Please, to the manager of this store, make sure what you guys are telling people is consistent with what people in headquarters will say. I found many discrepancies. I WILL NEVER FORGET when the manager came up to me and said "oh you're the boss huh" and the worker said "I feel sorry for you man" to my husband!! How DARE they. I went into Verizon this morning and worked with Jason, my phone was having some issues, and he was great and super helpful. I went in later that afternoon because I was still having issues, and Chris helped me. Chris really needs to work on his customer service. I've been working in customer service for several years now and Chris hands down has some of the worst customer service skills. This review is not against Verizon the store, I've been in the store multiple times and most of the employees there are super helpful. I'm writing this because I felt like I was a third class citizen when Chris was helping me. He had a very sarcastic tone with me and acted as if he was above me. I recommend the store, but I will not be asking for Chris's help in the future. read more

This is not a complaint about Verizon/Frontier, just a review that should be of interest to anyone looking for fast internet service in the rural sections surrounding Temecula: I have been living in DeLuz (Temecula) for 26 months. I have been a Coastinet.com client for most of that time as a backup to a Verizon/Frontier T3. But today 5/18/2016 I was upgraded to Coastinet's best long range plan and the test speeds are phenomenal: 23.54Mbps download and 4.55Mbps upload per Speedtest.net. I will be disconnecting from T3 (test speeds were 1.11 down and 1.57 up). I have moved from the 20th to the 21st century, finally! Tomorrow Coastinet will arrive to extend the service throughout my 5,000 sqft house with a "mesh" device with the possibility of optimizing my connection to even faster speeds. This is just fabulous for rural areas, and as the word spreads many more people who would have wanted to buy a large home in the hills west of Temecula but for the internet will now change their minds and make the move. I spent hours and hours trying to get a better service via AT&T, Verizon, Frontier, Hughes, Accel, Exede, etc., to no avail, and then I hit upon the idea and call up Coastinet to see if they had an upgrade option. Horrible experience !!! People please drive 10 extra mins to Village walk in murrieta to be treated with respect and common courtesy . My sister went in to exchange a car charger, she was told by James a younger kid that she couldnt exchange it because "you already exchanged one under this number and you can only exchange it one time (which later i found out to be false) so I came in the store ready to pay for a new charger, no problem. I then realized that I had puchased 2 chargers awhile ago 1 under my number and 1 under my sisters number. a week prior i had exchanged mine at the Village Walk location no problem and i guess they had did it under my sisters number. So I told James in a calm manner about that and said can we just exchange it under my number? And he replied "No because we already told him it was my sisters charger". I said it looks like they exchanged my charger on her number cant we just exchange hers under my number? He says "no", I say "does it really matter whos charger it is" ? "It was bought here on my account, we are really spliting hairs here" again with a nasty snobby attitude he says "no i am going to get the manager" . The manager Laura comes over and very rude says "whats the problem?" I was caught off guard and said "there is no problem we just want to exchange this " she says very nasty " ok but you dont need to be rude to James " I replied " I wasnt being rude to him he just doesnt want to exchange this for us for some reason " she walked away not saying anything and James proceded to do the exchange and talking crap the whole time , he wouldnt stop making comments about how shouldnt be doing this. I had enough at this point and told him forget it we are going to another store you are rude and dont know how to talk to people and your manager is rude and shouldnt be a manager. Long story short..problem was resolved but *611 Verizon Customer Service and Verizon corporate stores are not on the same page in multiple ways. This is partly responsible for my earlier review. If one gives you fishy information, then talk to the other to verify. I still highly recommend purchasing phones in store (don't drive anywhere to pick them up if the store is out of stock), if your time is valuable to you. Don't believe them if they say they "do it all the time" because no one that worked the day I went to pick up my phone knew what was going on or how to ring up the transaction. David scrogins - manager was the WORST person I had ever came in contact with. Don't be surprised if a lawsuit comes out of if. He was very threatening and intimidating and if the corporate has cameras please check them. When I asked him to very kindly waive the upgrade fee of 30.00 he said he couldn't. I told him that I felt it was taking money from people that have been LOYAL MEMBERS FOR MORE THAN 15 YEARS!! I said I'm apart of the military also and you still can't do anything. He started talking about how the business would lose out on money and if they did that nation wide it was cost the business a ton! He said "you want to talk about stealing money" I'm an ex cop. I said why do you have to tell me your credibility.. that makes it even worse and it actually makes a lot of sense. The first sentence that came out of his mouth was demeaning and threatening and I actually will go to court if Verizon doesn't reach out to me and do something for me since this asshole manager obviously couldn't. I mean Jason - the sales associate deserves to be the manager since he is so calm and helpful and NEVER got upset at all. I read through all the contracts and he was very sweet and unfortunately he has to work for a boss like that... David scrogins should be absolutely fired. Maybe someone should go secret shop him... Went in to get my new Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and Ashton was the gentleman helping me. I get there when they opened and they told me the system was down. But they continued to try over and over. While we were waiting, they were making this experience great by making jokes and just having able to make the best out of the situation. I had been there for two hours before the system came back on, and Ashton did what he could to help me save money. All in all I had a great experience with them. I ordered an upgrade online. My total after upgrade fee and taxes was $70. I selected the "convenient" In-Store pick up option. At no point in the process was there any disclaimer stating In-store prices would differ from what I ordered. No charge was supposed to be process until I received my phone in store. I went to the store and they had trouble locating my order. It wasn't until after the got my signature that they told me they charged my credit card $119.99. When I informed them that was not what I ordered, showed them my order and confirmation, they claimed that they would not honor the online price. I refused to spend an additional $50 for a phone that was only suppose to be $70. They couldn't just void the transaction and had to refund my account, which took them a total of 1 hour to complete this entire process. So now I have to wait until whenever they decided to refund my account (probably two weeks from now). I cannot place a new order for a new phone because the system thinks I have already used my upgrade. Verizon's "Convenient" In-Store Pick Up is anything but "Convenient". read more
