I just have to say the customer service, cleanliness, and overall experience of this store was through the roof! We went in and were greeted with a "welcome to o'reilly". Which at first I usually don't pay attention to. As we shopped, everything was organized and the deals were labeled so clearly! When we weren't able to find what we were looking for, we went up the Eric at the front, and he was so hospitable from the start! He helped us get the oil filter we needed, got our pickup order for us, while still greeting people as they walked in with his friendly "hello, welcome to o'reilly!" While still focusing on our needs! (This is where I say I noticed the effort he had to make sure everyone felt welcomed!) My dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree on my 2022 Subaru Crosstrek that I had purchased from Carmax end of 2024. This occurred 6 days before a business trip I had to take. I couldn't get an appt with Carmax Service until the day before my trip. I took it to O'Reilly and Eric went out of his way to assist me as he could tell I was worried about my trip, and driving it in general. He ran the codes, he explained what it could be, he called Carmax Service to try to get me in earlier, he called the Subaru dealership trying to learn about the costs associated with the codes, he googled everything, including solutions to a rat problem in my engine, and lastly he tested the battery and alternator. Same day, the warning lights all mysteriously disappeared. Later, I found out that the battery was erratically working, and when I went back, Eric patiently installed the $289 battery (battery alone would have been $480 at the dealer) in the triple digit heat. Business trip taken with peace of mind. No issues since. Bad customer service skills. I went to buy a battery. A woman with a shaved head behind the counter with some other goofy looking guy. I am glad neither work for the fire department because they were slow as molasses. Instead of helping people who came in person they would pickup the phone instead putting them on hold they made us wait. I asked for a battery test and she said she has to clear the line first. I said in fairness there wasn't a line before you took your rambling phone call. So she skipped me and goofy guy did the same. Luckily for me AutoZone is right across the street. So informed shaved head and goofy where to stick it. I was in and out of AutoZone with a test and a new battery if 15 minutes. I will never make the mistake of going to the wrong side of the street again. AutoZone people! That's the place you get good customer service read more

Yesterday, i walked into O'Reilly (California Oaks dr) with very little hope that i would be successful in finding parts for my 1964 American Rambler. This small seed of hope was grown massively by a knowledgeable manager named Eric. It took time and research, but he was able to locate the parts i needed. He outsourced other parts from the closest shop and had everything ready in about 2 hours. A big thank you to Eric for taking the time. I learned alot about my engine in between the time he researched, ordered, and greeted the incoming customers. Wonderful experience! On Friday evening, February 30, 2026, my wife and I drove to the Aurozone - Murrieta, California location to buy two headlights for her 2013 Honda Accord. Jessica S. stated that she would install the lights at no extra charge. She was not able to remove them easily, so she recruited one of her co-workers, Harley G., to try. He was successful in making the replacements. We were so impressed with their customer oriented attitude that we felt telling their friendly and competent service needed to be shared with the general public. Way to go! read more

Super accommodating! Christian and Eric helped us diagnose a starter and battery problem in my car. They helped us by giving us full proof that the battery was indeed bad for our warranty to benefit us and connected us with a mobile car mechanic who could get the starter installed so that we didn't have to tow somewhere else and pay a lot for repairs at a shop. I am currently 5 months pregnant and broken down on the side of the road in need of oil. I called this o'reillys and told them I have a 2022 Kia Sorento and need 0w-30 oil, confirmed they had it in stock, and that they close at 10. I called back and told them my husband will be there at 9:50, mentioned again I need 0w-30, asked him to confirm again how much they have and he said "well didn't the last person tell you that?" I said he did, please confirm, and he said they have more than enough... my husband got there and they said they don't have any of the oil we needed. I told them my year, make, and model twice and reiterated the specific oil I needed and they acted like I was dumb for asking again, but they didn't even have it and now he's at another store. In this case, the employee at this store, James aka "Jimmy" has always been extremely courteous, professional and always willing to help by coming up with solutions to what ever vehicle problem I may have. James has always gone out of his way to provide me with new ideas, since he is very knowledgeable. Today, I went in to this store because first I called to see if they had AC vacuum hose line and he answered professionally as always, made me feel welcome and quickly provided me with a solution. Above par customer service! I had an impossible ink stain on my leather seat (cream colored seats) and needed a fuse replaced. First thing in the door, Jennifer asked if I needed help with anything. She helped me pop the hood of my car, pulled the broken fuse and I bought the replacement. Now here comes the awesome part, that stain would NOT come out, but Jennifer referred me to some people who knew how to remove it for free! read more

So I go to OReilly and they look up my vehicle and the tell me they don't have any in Stock but they can order them and they would be in tomorrow. I was totally ok with that. They stand behind the counter and say hello when you enter the store but that is as good as it gets. I went looking to purchase windshield wiper blades in advance of the upcoming predicted rain. The Bosch wiper blade book that they had in the first aisle was hard to utilize with over half of the pages coming out. Two aisles over where the rest of the wiper blades are the digital selection machine to look up the proper fit for my car did not work. The associates were move interested in talking about their lunch then asking customers if they needed help. The store was not busy but they couldn't have cared less. I will be going to the Autozone across the street from now on when I need auto parts. read more

Wow!!! Absolutely impressed with the service I received from Thomas and Melody! I needed 2 batteries and my husband was out of town. They installed them and I was on my way! But what truly impressed me was Thomas's work ethic and taught a newer employee how to change a battery and myself as I watched from the side! His knowledge and his passion for customer service was over the top. As other customers walking by he always acknowledged them and checked on the other customer on the side of us if he needed help with his windshield wipers as the guy was installing them!! Erick was helping my fiancé over the phone with an issue he was having while doing his oil change, and kept calling back cause whatever the issue was nothing was helping. So 5 hrs later & several phone conversations with this guy , he ended up coming to our house to help fix it after this who knows how long of a shift, to get dirty under some randoms car. Asst mgr named Dale worked on my car for over an hour to replace battery and severely corroded cables and posts caused by battery leak. I went into O'Reilly to pick up a part for my car and as I'm standing in line, an employee was answering phone calls. He literally has the customer on SPEAKER PHONE for everyone to hear their conversation. The person on the other line clearly was having trouble hearing or understanding him so the employee kept repeating himself in a manner that showed he was annoyed (his tone of voice and eye rolls were pretty obvious). He eventually took the guy off speaker phone which seemed to help. Then the next customer he's speaking to must have also had an issue hearing him because then he says "Do you speak no English" in a mocking tone. This guy really needs to work on his customer service and be grateful he still has a job during this pandemic. And since I have a little more respect for people than he does, I'll choose not to mention his name in this review. read more

BOUGHT Battery 1/2021. battery stop holding charge 8/2021. Drove vehicle 10 miles to insure full charge. parked overnight in garage. Next morning had to jump start vehicle - battery was dead. finally took battery to store. They verified charge was .76 percent. Refused request for temporary replacement battery. Called corporate to get better service. Followed California law asking for manager now 12 times. California requires a manager be available when requested. I was driving thru on the freeway when my check engine light went on and my car started to lose power so I got off the freeway and stopped at this store and met employee ERIC who checked the error code on the check engine light and told me it was a sensor but didn't have the part. I told him I didn't live in Murrieta and was on my way home to south San Diego and I was feeling worried and scared at this point cuz I was a long way from home. ERIC felt my frustration and went ABOVE & BEYOND. He showed me a can of spray that I paid for and he did his thing under my hood and whatever he did it worked. But what really mattered was he the eye contact of cate and concern he gave me when he told me that Escondido had the part and if I felt the car start messing up to get off and go to that Oriellys and get the sensor there and he showed me how to change it. Then he said if the car drives good go straight home. And my car got me home safe. ERIC, thank you so much for all your help. I really hope your bosses so this review and tell you Thank You.
