This is only the second time in six years I have gone to the Verizon store in Tomball. Both visits have been terrible. I went this morning. The store was supposed to open at 10 AM and at 10:10 someone finally came out and said they couldn't get the inside lights on. It is daylight and plenty light in the store. At 10:20 I finally got into the store. The manager in charge is very unprofessional.... Slouchy. The young lady who waited on me did fix my problem, however, that problem could have been handled promptly at 10 AM. I will not go to the store again. I had a great experience today at the Verizon - Tomball location! The Salesman, Matthew (Matt) King greeted me at the door with a very welcoming smile. It was a great first impression for Verizon! I was having issues with my iPhone. For some reason, my Apple Settings were grayed out and I was not able to use my "Find My" app. Last night, my cat did not come home. He wears an Apple AirTag so I can track him on the "Find My" app. It wasn't working! That was not good timing. I had anticipated on having to spend quite a bit of time at Verizon, trying to get this issue resolved. Nope! Matt has been very well-trained by Verizon! He was able to fix it in about 10 minutes! Seriously, I expected to spend at least an hour at Verizon. There was NO waiting and Verizon has hired professional, experienced and customer-service motivated sales professionals at the Verizon-Tomball, TX location. My husband and I came in recently in order to switch our phones from Apple to Android. The main representative we spoke with named Jerome was absolutely wonderful. He went through all of the options with us and got us everything we wanted. My new phone was having trouble activating at first, but he was so patient the whole time and did everything he could to get it sorted out. We both walked out with new phones and even new tablets. All of the other representatives we came into contact with were very pleasant as well. Very happy overall with our experience here. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service from not only the salesman but especially the sales manager, Ian. Walked out of there Friday with paperwork in hand and then when I got the actual paperwork from Verizon and what are charges and bill is going to be it was completely different. We had to take everything back on Sunday and Ian, the manager, make sure that we knew he did not like that at all! The absolute rudest person I have ever dealt with. So had an issue here on may 6th. Got billed for AirPods that's I never received. Came back to this location several time to get this issued addressed and they are very unhelpful and keep giving me some nonsense reason every other time. This issues has been in on going issue for the last 81 days and no resolution, I need some answers Verizon. So update from last Thursday 7/23/20 visit. Still unable to help me in getting my issued fixed, Gordon at 281-726-0697 stated he would call me back Friday 7/24/20 and can you guess the outcome of that?? Today is 7/29/20 and I've yet to hear from anyone at Verizon. They do not care about there customers! Horrible service and place! This will be my 3rd time going to the location, and my 6th time calling the 611 number and nobody at Verizon is able to help. I loved VZW coverage when I had them years ago so I was thinking of switching back to them from AT&T. So I came to this location, no one greeted me as all the employees were huddled among themselves. One lady did step out and help me along but frankly she just wasn't friendly. It was weird and she didn't know much about the differences in the phone. I'd still go and play around with the phones but I assume they don't get paid commissions by the lackluster service I received. read more

Wish I could zero stars. Manager not helpful at all. Been having issues sense jan 9th. I pay for insurance never late on a bill. 1st Phone was sent out got it the next day. Stopped working within a week. Go back to have another phone ordered on the 22nd it is now the 1st of Feb. Everyone's pointing fingers at someone else but not fixing the Situation. Even offered to buy a new phone. However they want me to pay all of the old phone off. What happened to paying half the phone off and an upgrading? That was not even offered to me. Also why would I pay a phone off that's has a warranty and also has insurance? Why am I paying for a phone that I don't even have that I should have? When speaking to customer service they said they would give me a $20 credit. To me that's not right I pay more than that for a couple weeks of phone. Not to mention the gas going back-and-forth to fix this. Also the hours long conversations and being transferred from one person to another person. In total over a few days 7 hours and 30 minutes.I told the manager about the credit at this location and asked if there was something else he could do as far as me getting another phone. He told me I should be happy with the credit at least I got that. To me that was just a slap in the face comment. I am supposed to receive a phone within 24 hours it has now been 240 hours. I have been with Verizon for over 20 years. Once this phone is paid off I'm done with Verizon this is just unacceptable behavior. I will definitely tell others about my experience with Verizon. This Tomball Verizon the worst one I've ever visited, this store almost makes me want to change carries. Customer service is at is lowest at this location. The general manager Jennifer was no help, the General Manager out of all the employees in the building was the worst. You need someone working at this location who knows the business and who can get the job done while taking care of customers. Then I get told to call 611 to help me out while I'm standing in front of the building. Then get placed on hold for 30 plus minutes and yet nobody can seem to help there customers. I almost wanted to just close my account and go with cricket or T Mobile! Verizon you need to up your game at this location and get some employees that know how to do this job. read more

You really have to watch this store. Just recently bought a new phone here, and Rocky asked if I wanted insurance. I said no. Turns out she added it anyway. I was able to have it removed from the customer service from Verizon so there was no harm no foul. But the fact remains that she did it without my permission. read more

I disagree with the other reviews on here, but to each his own. This is by far the best Verizon store I have ever been to. My wife and I stopped by after work to activate two new phones, get data transferred over, purchase two new cases and change aspects of our data/bill plan. Everyone there was friendly and super helpful, especially Adam. He was our customer service tech and went above and beyond to make sure we were completely satisfied. I would recommend this Verizon store and Adam especially to anyone needing any type of service done with your phone, bill, accessories, etc. I will definitely be back! read more

Bought an IP6+ at this Tomball location. Immediately started having issues with the phone. On the 14th day, apparently the last day that I could return the phone, I had enough and called Verizon support about the issues. They could not assist me, so transferred me to apple. Apple asked me to do several phone reset and restores from different backups, and then said if all else fails, restore as a new phone. I did what they asked over the next 2 days, but on the second day the phone shutoff and would NOT power up. Went to the Tomball Verizon store where I purchased it, but was turned away since I was outside my 14 day return period, by 2 days!!!, despite my repeated issues with the phone that obviously indicated that the phone is defective. The manager's choice to send me away nearly made me close my 9-phone ($500 month) account with Verizon. I am still smoking mad. Apple swapped out the defective phone but not until I bought the $129 Apple care! Lesson- RETURN ALL PHONES WITH ISSUES NO LATER THAN THE 14th DAY REGARDLESS WHAT THE PROBLEM IS!!!! Verizon is terrible in costumer service, and this location (Tomball,Tx) is too. I would not recommend anyone to switch to Verizon. This store is the worst costumer service phone store I have ever been to. My wife and I switched from T mobile and we are sorry we did. The signal strength is great but as far as going into or calling costumer service its a joke. We had such a problem just to activate our phones. It took about 6hrs to activate.(in store and costumer service on the phone) The employees were just standing around doing nothing and they kept telling us to go online to activate our phones. So after I had to get frustrated and tell him costumer service told us to come to you and yall want us to go to them. One of the guys said "oh then let me help you" WTH. Then we went back in a couple months later to switch numbers and one of the employees was in a shouting match with a costumer, with the Assitant manager right there. We had to wait about 45mins to get our numbers switch, but hey it did get done. Then we went in there today because my wifes phone has crashed, and Heather was the sales person who we talked to and she said your screen is cracked and there was nothing she could do. My wife and I were like its a scratch on the screen, Not cracked. She insisted that it wasn't working because it was cracked, because she wanted to make a sell. So we asked for the Manager and he came over and looked at it and tried to get it to work, and it would not. Then we heard him tell Heather this isn't a crack its a scratch. So he did order us a new phone. After the big hassle. I would just stay clear of Verizon period, unfortunately we are stuck with them for 18 more months, but were thinking of paying to get out of our contract. I don't think we can handle any more of this company. I hope this helps people. read more
