I visited this store to consider taking Verizon up on the offer to trade my phone for a new 16 at virtually no cost. They assured me the offer was good and sold me the new phone on a 36 month contract (couldn't pay cash). When the promised monthly credit for the traded phone was not forthcoming, I asked them to investigate. I was told I had to contact Verizon direct. After a couple hours of trying to work through Verizon's labyrinthian system, I wound up getting cut off - the promised call back never happened. Next, I went to a company store and after another 1 1/2 hour visit found out the plan I'm on doesn't qualify for the trade rebate. I'd been lied to and robbed of $830!! Victra operates Verizon stores as a franchisee and should be avoided at all cost. They are only interested in getting your name on a contract regardless of what they have to do to. UNETHICAL COMPANY. Furthermore, Verizon knows how they operate and lets them continue to represent them, so they are also guilty of unethical business practices. I won't do business with liars and thieves, so I'm moving to a competitive service. You should, too. read more

We initially went to the store to add a line on my account. The store associate made changes to another line and said that it would not affect the bill negatively. Several months later I find out that the change that was made, made me ineligible for a device promotional credit and have been charged by Verizon for a phone that when I initially signed up was supposed to be free. I have had to spend hours on the phone with customer service and no one seems to be able to undo the changes made in the store. I would recommend going ANYWHERE ELSE and not allowing changes to be made. The associate either did know that the change made would deem me ineligible (which is a terrible way to get me to pay more) OR he didn't know and instead is just a bad, uninformed employe. Either way, I am being forced to pay much more than I was told I would be paying by the employee. Take your business to another franchise, if not a different provider entirely. read more

I love the staff and the service that I get here! I also cannot say enough about the screen protector replacement program. I was hesitant to get it at first, however, after replacing more than 10 protectors and not having broken my actual screen even once, I am a believer! Admittedly I am rough on my phones, so I was a perfect candidate to try the program out. Also, I was worried that when I went in to get replacements that they would become weary of my constant breaking/replacing. However, they have treated me like royalty, they have never so much as winced towards me. Quite the contrary in fact. They have been kind and I feel like they have become friends. I enjoy getting to see them when I go in, and we buy all of our phones through this location. I highly recommend GoWireless in Hazel Dell. Didn't tell me I needed the original credit card that was used to purchase the phone. Spent an hour driving to get original packaging when I could have easily picked up the credit card. We came in to upgrade our phone, and had a positive experience with the sales person. However, after finalizing all the costs, thinking we were done, he said there was an extra $90 fee that had to be paid day-of. I asked if it was sales tax - I could buy in Oregon tax-free. He said no. After completing the purchase, while waiting for the phone setup to complete, I asked for the receipt to look it over. He had kept it behind the register and said he wanted to put everything in the bag together at the end. So it wasn't until I got home that I realized that most of the fee was indeed Washington tax. I felt lied to and then manipulated with his delay in handing over the receipt. So gross. And clever on his part; with the deal done and a new phone in my hand, there was nothing I could do about it. In retrospect, I realized that I shouldn't have been so trusting. Lesson learned. read more

They sold me a refurbished phone. I thought it was factory new. Phone continued to drop calls and no clear video chatting. Had insurance and was told I was covered. During the virus outbreak can't go and stand around the store. So, after many trouble shooting calls and texts with their "tech coaches" I was told I would be getting a new phone. Not the case. I was given so much incorrect information. Going to a different carrier. Verizon's support has really gone down hill. read more

The Hazel Dell store manager, Eric, makes this THEE store to visit/shop. I initially reached out to him while on holiday, out of state, when I was suffering a number of issues with my phone. Eric had me try multiple different ideas to solve the problems. Nothing was working. Eric never got annoyed or impatient, nor did he rush me off the line to help someone else. When he ran out of ideas, he began googling ideas, then calling others in his field for ideas. He was INDEFATIGABLE in his efforts to get my phone operating properly. I rarely, if ever, run into anyone in the sales/retail industry that goes so far and above to provide stellar customer service. Eric is exceedingly smart as well as experienced, and brings a formidable power to bear on anyone's cell phone issue. This inspires customer confidence and immediately calms the growing hysteria that customers with malfunctioning cell phones experience. At the end of our lengthy phone call, he suggested I go into a local Verizon Wireless store there for help or to come see him when I was back home in Vancouver. I did go back into see him yesterday and was there from 1 pm until after closing. Eric listened attentively to all the issues I was experiencing with my phone and adroitly identified the most likely primary causes. He initiated remedies quickly and efficiently. During the multiple waiting periods, I watched him overhear other customers explaining their issues being waited on by other Verizon representatives. He very politely excused himself from attending to my problem-phone (which was busy transferring photos from the phone's memory to an SD card) to speak experienced-oriented wisdom to the increasingly agitated woman at the other counter. I listened to him give clear and concise answers to her questions and cogent solutions to her dilemma. I watched her face and body visibly relax under the soothing effect of Eric's intelligence, extensive knowledge, sound judgement, as well as his unfeigned desire to help. Moreover, he demonstrated true leadership by providing unstinting support to his staff; encouraging them, never embarrassing them, always putting them and their interests before his own. Throughout the hours I was there, we discussed a wide range of mutual interests and I found him exceedingly knowledgeable in many areas of life. Almost four years of my daily calendar entries were lost while making enough memory for several updates. As I run my entire professional and personal life through that calendar, I was stunned and sick, edging toward panic at the implications of such a loss. Eric spoke to me with credible authority in a relaxed, unperturbed voice that enabled me to dial down my reaction. He persevered for hours in analyzing how it could have happened and tried multiple ideas to recover the data. Eric also impartially recommended that I upgrade to a new phone, and explained in detail why my S5 phone would continue to fail. His disinterest actually convinced me that it is time to move on to an S9. He enthusiastically demonstrated the virtues of the S9Note aware of what features I would care about. His laser-like attention to people and his ability to listen to one drama after another yet speak respectfully and impactfully to a wide range of people is nothing short of unparalleled. Eric inspires trust and confidence both in his abilities and his person. This store could not have a better store manager. Kudos! read more

The following complaint was sent to the Better Business Bureau on Sept. 24, 2013 We were defrauded by Ms. Jessica Longoria-Gonsalves at your store during June 2013. We are seven year Verizon customers with three phones with an impeccable payment record. My wife met with Jessica to add two additional phones to our account. Jessica sold us a plan based completely on lies. The following are the problems we had: 1. My wife came into your store towards the end of June to make a monthly payment on two new prepaid Verizon phones. Jessica introduced herself as a Go Wireless employee with 8 years experience specializing in small business accounts. When my wife told her we have a Christmas tree farm, Jessica claimed that there was a special promotional business plan offered through Go Wireless that we should take advantage as soon as possible as this deal could end in the next few days. Jessica told my wife we would get a business account with 5 phones, 1,400 minutes talk time, unlimited texting, and 10 Friends and Family numbers all for only $115/month including taxes. In reality, Jessica signed us up for a consumer plan at $149/month plus tax. There was no misunderstanding about this offer as my wife questioned Jessica repeatedly about the great deal we were getting, especially as compared to Costco. I overheard one such conversation when I was with my wife at the store as Jessica claimed she was setting up this special business plan. 2. Jessica claimed there were no activation fees for the two new phones. We were charged a total of $70 in fees. 3. Jessica has done this before. My wife spoke to a Washington State employee who had a similar experience. She said that after her Verizon contract expired she took her business to a competing carrier. 4. Jessica changed our mailing address to an undeliverable address without our knowledge. This resulted in not receiving our bills for several months and delaying our response to repair our account. Verizon charged us $10 in late payment charges and nearly turned off our cell phones. 5. One of our initial bills was over $600 caused by Jessica temporally adding a phone and then deleting it. Jessica did have Verizon eliminate the $350 early termination fee. 6. Jessica eliminated my wife's 15% government discount when she switched the name on our account. This resulted in us paying an additional $45 over the past three months. 7. Jessica wasted my wife's time by spending seven hours to sign up for this "business plan." Jessica had us bring our business's UBI number and stay at the store to answer any questions. Our entire family spent 2 hours the first day setting up the account. During this time I overheard Jessica's repeatedly tell my wife about this great business plan, benefits and costs. My wife spent an additional 5 hours on another day helping Jessica to create this "business plan." I do not know if Hazel Dell's Go Wireless policy is to lie and defraud your customers but Jessica is responsible for driving customers away from your business. We will no longer be a customer and we will warn everyone else to stay away from the Hazel Dell Go Wireless. I knew there was some way (like I said, I am a newbie) to be able to have contacts saved so that if they were ever lost again, I could have them reload. I am a long time Verizon customer that assumed I would be treated right at a Verizon store. Silly me. All seemed well as Anesh helped me purchase a new iPhone. Several weeks past, my opportunity to return my phone expired, and then the trouble started. Bills began to arrive with erroneous charges, added lines, and other misc. melarchy. These guys make you feel all warm and fuzzy, make their sale, and then deliver a swift kick to your crotch. Take your business elsewhere, anywhere, like mall kiosk anywhere. I went to the store to replace my cell phone that had been damaged by water. First I had to wait 20 minutes to speak to a sales person because only one sales person and a new employee were in the store. For 3 years I have paid Verizon monthly for insurance and I wanted to replace the damaged unit under this insurance. When I was finally able to speak to a sales woman she lied to me and told me that the insurance provider was no longer in business and I would have to buy a new instrument. While I was waiting in the store I overheard the same sales woman discuss purchasing insurance with a customer who was buying a new phone. She obviously was well aware of the insurance and how the replacement process worked. Since I did not have a monthly statement with the insurance payment with me I left and went home to review the statement. It seemed odd that if the insurance company was out of business that Verizon would continue to bill me or would not notify me of a change in insurance companies. When I called back to this store the same woman sales representative informed me I would have to call the insurance company and gave me the contact number. I contacted the insurance company and in a matter of minutes a new phone was in the mail on it's way to my home. The replacement process was remarkably easy and worked very well. I cannot say the same for my experience with the lady sales representative. If I had not questioned her I would have paid hundreds of dollars for a new phone. If you choose to shop here you need to question the information the young woman sales representative provides. read more
