I took an older MacBook Pro that I had taken to another shop that is well known and has several locations but they told me that it would be better off going directly through Apple since they couldn't fix it. Called in and brought in my laptop along with an iPhone 5s that I have just sitting there with a home button issue. I was told the repair shouldn't be an issue on either item and just to give them a few days. No more than three business days later I get a call saying that everything is done and ready to go, and was surprised with the amount due. I expected to pay a lot more for what I got, and didn't expect the service to be so quick. I highly recommend the shop and when I have other issues now I have a new go to place that is convenient and very reasonably priced.

I waited for over an hour while the clerks fumbled around trying to transfer the stored pictures and such from the old to the new phones with little luck. The manager told one customer that if they bought more storage then they could transfer the information. Then it was the extended warranty that they didn't want but she kept pushing. Then it was the T mobile internet which they didn't want and again she kept pushing. The other clerk couldn't get the new phone to sync with the old so the manager tried to get him to buy an upgrade. I am not kidding, I left after waiting for over an hour. I have bought cars faster than this. Update, I went to the Crystal Lake store, they had at least 12 customers in the store. In less than 30 seconds, I was greeted and asked what I was looking for. I said I think I need a new sim card and the greeter said it would be a few minutes. I sat down, (the store in Wauconda has no chairs), and within 10 minutes a clerk was helping me. Total time in Crystal Lake, about 20 minutes. 5 stars for the Crystal Lake store.
