I've had verizon now for over 20 years. I recently changed my calling plan to the shared/family plan. I then received a huge bill because they failed to inform me that if you change your plan prior to the end or your cycle, the mins used after you change your plan until your new billing cycle becomes overage. NICE!!! So I spoke to two different managers to get this cleared up. The first visit to the store, I'm told I'll get credited for the difference. Two weeks later. NADA! I go back and speak to the main manager. She appologized for the mix up and said my account was credited. Three weeks later, I get another large bill because they still failed to credit my account. Awesome customer service! NOT!!!!! Now that I have to deal with this issue again, I call their store and get put on the eternal hold. A member answers and I ask for the manager. The employee puts me on hold and back into the revolving hold pattern. WAY TO GO VERIZON. Then I call back and eventually get in contact with another employee. I get put on eternal hold for 20 MINS!!! Called back a 3rd time and finally spoke to another manager. He checked the account and their credit books, which revealed no credit due to me. NICE! Both managers lied to me. We'll see if the 3rd manager does the job the other two couldn't. Lawsuit time? This store sucks! Their customer service is terrible. And I would not patronage this place. They clearly don't deserve it. read more

At first I was hesitant to come to this branch. I heard the stories about how crowded the store is and how so many people go to the store everyday. In the past the wait time was very long and the reps were not that helpful. Things have definitely changed. A few days ago I went in to upgrade my phone and transfer my daughters phone from AT&T. I had the help of Chris S. He is without question the best rep I have had help me at Verizon. He took the time to explain the benefits of the phones we were interested in. I never knew that the Iphone was a 3G phone. He explained how the Galaxy S3 would give me faster down loads of my apps and make streaming video easier cause of the 4G LTE. I have had so many issues with my device and no one until now had ever told me about the cons of the I-Phone. Chris took the time to show us the three models that would be good choices for my daughter. He let her test all the phones to make sure she liked it and even ordered us the case she wanted so I didn't have to go online and pay a delivery fee. We were able to get everything done that we wanted and without spending 2 hours in the store. The store is much better then it was before. I highly recommend Chris for those looking to get away from the terrible AT&T network. read more

This is both some praise for Jason, the manager on duty this morning, but also a reminder to everyone to treat retail folks with at least a modicum of respect. My husband got me a new phone for the holidays and I needed to return my previous one to get a trade-in rebate. Not an urgent or terribly complicated transaction. While I waited for my turn in the queue, I couldn't help but eavesdrop (from across the store) people taking their frustration out on him (and another woman who manned the front door at one point during my wait). Complaints included one person who bought a phone he didn't like (and blamed Verizon). Another person lost their data because they hadn't backed it up (and blamed Verizon). My favorite was someone who came in asking what their forgotten password was. Not only was Jason extremely patient with all these customers but also helped me with my issue in between checking people in when I asked how many people were still ahead of me. It's really not that difficult to take a breath and be nice to those on the front lines of retail. Having been one of them eons ago, I always feel bad witnessing their bad treatment. Seems silly to have to put your name at the door as if it is a restaurant when there is no other patrons and several employees waiting to help. However, the first 2 times I went for a phone problem the 2 girls helping me seemed to be more interested in texting then helping. The conclusion they came up with is that although I had insurance and a warranty I still needed to buy a new phone. I decided to think over the options and returned. Rich helped me with the problem and told me that I didn't need to purchase but that I could get a new phone-nothing out of pocket!!! What?! The previous girls said that was not an option but would have to pay one way or the other!!! I believe they were a bit preoccupied by the texting(btw, is that allowed and tolerated?). Thanks to Rich I told my husband and he went in and talked to Rich and ended up with a substantial upgrade. Although I did not purchase and Rich did not make a sale, he made a happy customer and because of that he made a very good sale with my husband!! read more

I walked into the store yesterday at 2:53 pm. A gentleman there told me they are not taking in anymore walk ins for rest of day. I then asked if I could speak with a manager because I needed to buy a new iPhone and a Verizon plan. Another lady that worked their told me I would I have to wait for an hr before she helped me. Around 30 seconds later a Gentle man walked in and she assisted him immediately. I asked her why and she said it's because his question doesn't take long to solve. Is their any sort of supervision from Corprate on how employees are representing their brand. Strange people should not be in sales. They literally tried to not help me when I was their to spend money. This is the first time I've ever said this but the workers at this store are very RACIST. Helping the whites before the Asians lols. What's next all blacks, Mexicans, and Asians can go to the San Ramon branch? read more

I see that the 3 stars I am giving is the highest of all by 2 to this Verizon store. I am not Pollyanna by any stretch, but I have gotten decent service at this store. I usually go when it first opens at 9 am during the weekday, which may account for the no waiting. Last Year I had a huge increase on my monthly bill, and went in to find out why. The service rep was helpful, gave straight answers and even told me I could get a one-time bill overrun forgiven because I was a premium customer. That was two things I did not know. That I was a premium customer, and I could get an overrun waived. Made my day, believe me. I am now in the market for a new phone, as I dropped mine and spidered the glass face pretty good. I decided to switch carriers to Verizon from Sprint just because all my family members and friends were on verizon and I wanted to take advantage of the mobile to mobile feature. As I was talking to the the sales lady. I forgot her name. I think it was Francesca or something she was telling me all these great things about verizon and my first payment would actually be due that day including the phone with I thought ok. So she was saying my next bill was going to be in August and it June at the time. So I didn't worry about July. But then I got a bill saying my bill was due in July. I didn't save up for it because she said my next payment was in August. She has no idea what shes talking about unless she was trying to upsell and hoping I would forget. My sister was with me and she heard the whole thing as well. read more

Today I just bought the greatest phone in the world, the Motorola Droid. I lost my phone and thought that it would be the same suck experience dealing with my cell phone company, I was so wrong. When I walked in I waited about five minuntes to be help and when I was I explained my situation and was very surprised to find that Verizon was very willing to help me. They showed me a new phone and explained that as a long time customer I qualified for an early upgrade I was out the store in about 30 minutes total, way under my expectation. They even signed me up for free two hour class to teach me all the new things that I could do with my phone. Thank you for all the help guys. Especially Jason Swensen the manager. read more

I walked into the WC Verizon store before they were closing tonight...any employees nightmare when you know you're getting ready to close shop for the night. I was greeted by Erinn the Manager of the store and she then had be work with Tony one of the Sales Representatives. Both Tony and Erinn provided exceptional customer service and took the time to assist with my mobile needs. Sadaf also known as Sarah was wonderful. She was kind, patient and knowledgeable. My elderly mother was at her wits end because her new phone was not working properly. Sadaf calmly listened to my mother who can be be difficult due to trials of aging. The she fixed my elderly mother's phone glitches. Never contact Verizon support under any circumstance. Even a simple request as they will obfuscate and deluge you with irrelevant questions far removed from the pertinent issue.
