Both have a firestick connected to them, but one television is a smart TV. I never have problems connecting to thy smart TV, but the other television NEVER connects! If it does connect, the connection doesn't last long. It takes me over an hour troubleshooting to get some type of connection.... and this is an every night seven days a week thing. I hadn't called technical support to troubleshoot.... nothing! Heck, I even traded in equipment.... aka still no connection! No credit for when you are unable to connect.... NOTHING! The fact that I can't even go to Verizon because it's not in my building.... so I'm forced to stay with this scrappy Internet! Trust your me thy day that Verizon comes..... I'm on thy next thing smoking! Trust me, don't use anything with Optimum.... you'll regret having it! So now I'm forced to watch TV on my phone because of this garbage Internet! Now I see why ppl leave and never come back! Hell, if I could rate them -1 I surely give them that rate!

Today I attempted to cancel my Optimum internet service and had one of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had with a telecommunications provider. I clearly stated at the beginning of the call that I had limited time and needed the cancellation processed quickly. Despite this, the representative kept me on the phone for over 20 minutes, ignored my repeated reminders that I had an upcoming work meeting, and ultimately refused to complete the cancellation. She also stated she could not send any information by email, leaving me with no documentation or confirmation of anything discussed. I eventually had to hang up to attend my meeting, and my account remains active solely because the representative would not process a straightforward request. This is not an isolated inconvenience -- it reflects a broader pattern of Optimum's aggressive retention tactics, lack of respect for customers' time, and refusal to provide basic, transparent service. I am requesting immediate cancellation of my account without further delay, along with written confirmation and clear equipment return instructions. No customer should have to fight this hard to end a service they no longer wish to use.

I returned the equipment the next day. What they failed to tell me is I have to pay for a full billing cycle but I only used for 4 days. If I had moved then I would not pay but since I changed providers and went to total streaming I have to pay. Poor business practice They harassed me for 4 days with their phone call and ryde behave fore I hung up. Never will I go back. I always defended them here in our area in TX. Even when it went out due to storms. So sad.
