I thought everything was ok but the next day the salesman contacted me and said there was a glitch in their system and I had to come back in right away. I did so and I was there about an hour for them to fix it and I turned in my old phone. I thought everything was fine until I got my next bill. They never disconnected the line for my old phone and my watch and when I messaged the salesperson since I had his personal number (Gregg) he ignored me. I got on the phone with Verizon which was a frustrating experience they disconnected the line but were not refunding me the money I was charged. DO BETTER!!!!

The low level customer service and the way the company bilks customers is astounding. They claim to be giving you a five (5) year price lock. In my case, two months later they change the name of your promotion to Promotion for Life. They say that this means that only the taxes can go up if they do, but not the price for the service in my case, $40.00 with $5.66 in taxes for a total of $45.66. Do not be fooled. All their promotions, regardless of names, can be renamed and repriced at any time. They actively promote Autobilling, which means they take the money directly out of your bank account each month. It is not worth getting a $5 reduction to have these crooks get access to your bank account. Once you provide them with your bank account number, they can help themselves to any amount. Prices with Astound change at the drop of a hat. They do this by claiming that your plan's name was changed. What this means is that they hiked the price. Am actively going to see if I can find a better deal elsewhere. These people are nasty and only interested in bilking customers. These are seasoned scam artists.

Thank you for calling [name of (expletive) company here]. Please listen carefully as our menu options have recently changed (no they have not). Also we are experiencing higher than average call volume, which is our way of saying that we don't know the concept of "average." You get a ACTUAL PERSON (or at least a very convincing artificial intelligence), thank heck. Lastly: the night of 1/6, our speed tanked. I texted the customer support # and within minutes got an answer, and shortly thereafter our down/up speeds were back to normal. They diagnosed it as a problem in the lines coming to my unit (so not my issue) but it will still take them 3 days to come out and restore service. Only later to find out we never actually spoke to the real person . Either someone is monitoring our phone calls or this is an internal issue. We have asked to have this escalated to no avail. We have been the victim of spoofing and our number being spoofed on multiple occasions. We don't trust anyone coming into the home. Who would know to call and use the name of an actual employee? We are getting dropped calls. call back feature not working, and a loud blaring horn noise in the middle of conversations. No one is taking this serious,yet the bills keep coming. This has been going on over a year now/ We have reached out to our local congressman,Phil Ramos, Rep Jorge Guadon,and the local Sherriff, for internet crimes. Why is no one doing anything about this.
