I decided to do a 2 year lease on it which cost $39.59 per month, just tacked on to each monthly phone bill. In April of 2020, T-Mobile buys Sprint, the carrier I purchased the phone through. My lease is still not completely paid, so I keep making payments. T-Mobile owned Sprint when my lease payment should have been removed from my bill. Fast forward to today, February 1st, 2024. I'm looking over my bill details and I notice that there's a charge on there that doesn't include my iPhone's protection plan stating that it's for leases. Confused, I check the leases tab and there are no active leases. I HAVE BEEN PAYING AN EXTRA $39.59 PER MONTH FOR 30 MONTHS ($1,187) FOR A PHONE THAT IS ALREADY PAID OFF. I call customer service and a very professional young lady named Diamond helps me, she tells me that they had to manually remove so many lease charges from people's bills. I asked if I could be refunded for these extra charges and she tells me that she can only refund 2 months worth of payments (under $80). I understand that she has protocols that will not allow me to talk with her supervisor so I don't even know why I bothered asking. I made sure to be really nice to her because at the end of the day, it's not HER who's been pocketing the equivalent of an extra YEAR'S WORTH OF PHONE BILLS from me. I have called customer service several times over the past few years for help on a few things, there have been PLENTY of times that they could have spotted this error. I am so upset about this and will be switching to a different phone company by February 21st (the day my bill is due) if I am not made whole. I advise anyone thinking of switching to T-Mobile to think twice about it, seeing as they clearly have no issue taking the hard-earned money that is not owed to them.

I provided all balance info, but T-Mobile failed to coordinate the release with AT&T. As a result, my numbers were never ported and my phones were never unlocked. For 5 months, I've been paying AT&T to keep my active service while T-Mobile has continuously billed me $281.84/month for completely non-functional lines--totalling $1,409.20 in unearned charges. After endless dropped calls, hours on hold, and broken promises of call-backs, their only solution was for me to pay off the phones out-of-pocket for a 'possible' reimbursement or cancel and owe $1,000+ in device fees. A formal demand letter and FCC/FTC complaints have been filed."

At first I was impressed, but then it became very clear that it left much room for error. By the time I left, I realized he altered my account incorrectly and my bill was inflated to over $100 more. I caught it right after I left the store when I called T-mobile. I went back into the store to point out the mistake while I had the customer service rep on the phone.

He wasn't using the new wires, vent pipe etc that we had to pay for. He told me the door wasn't going to close if he used the one we had to buy. After a lot of back and forth debating what i had to say he did in fact put it on. Guess what, the door closed just fine. He had water running all over the floor and kept walking in it with his filthy shoes and leaving black mess all over the floor. I told him I needed to clean this up before he brought in the washer. He tells me I have 2 minutes. I asked why was he letting water run all over the floor. He told me to fix that. He said he's not doing anything that i ask him to do. He said he listens to no one. I was shaking and home alone of course. I just finished Cancer Treatments before our move. I also have severe heart disease. ThIs was the last thing i needed or expected. We bought everything from a young cordial young man, Tenacious. But, he was on his way for vacation. It was very hard getting through to anyone while this was all going on We have another technician coming out on Saturday when my husband is here to finish the install and to see what he did or didn't do. We also had a TV that he was supposed to put in our bedroom. He told me he wasn't doing anything with it and I told him good because you need to leave my home and my property and never step foot on here again. So he and his helper, who did nothing but try to help, sat the TV in out back hallway. I had ahold of the door and said now you need to leave. I tried closing the door, he pushes it open and the door pushes me into the wall. I put my hand on his chest I thought he was coming at me to hurt me. He said I'm going to take a picture of this I should've had my gun and I should've called the police on him. Best Buy is doing nothing except trying to give us in store credit. I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH BEST BUY AFTER THEM ENDING THIS GOON INTO MY HOME AFTER SPENDING OVER $6000 WITH THEM. WE MAY STILL PRES CHARGES. THING IS THE GOON NEVER INTRODUCED HIMSELF AND BEST BUY WON'T TELL ME HIS NAME. I GUESS WE'LL JUST GO AFTER BEST BUY! I was so concerned for whoever they were delivering to next. HE BELONGS IN JAIL, WHICH I'M SURE HE'S FAMILIAR WITH, NOT IN CUSTOMERS HOMES!! His helper who I believe didn't speak English. Probably illegal, tried to apologize with hand gestures before he got into the truck.
