I recently did a migration from xFinity to Verizon FIOS. From day one I had issues with YouTubeTV, Netflix and Prime Video occasionally freezing with the spinning circle-of-death on my LG smart TV. After unsuccessfully going through several YouTube clips to try to solve the problem, I went back to "Russell Cellular" (deceptively says "Verizon" on the bldg) where I bought the internet/phone package. They told me to delete and reinstall all the apps and if that didn't work they would replace the router. So I reinstalled everything - no go. Went back to Russell Cellular and a new person told me that I was SOL - nothing they could do to help and I would need to go to the "FIOS" store in Waltham. Frustrated but determined, I went to that store (which turned out to be just another retail outlet called "R Wireless", also with just "Verizon" on the sign). They told me that "there is no such thing as a FIOS store" and that they couldn't help me either. They gave me an 800# to call. When I called the 800# (offshore somewhere) the guy solved the problem in about a half hour through a video session. The Smart TV had to be hard set to 5GHz to prevent downshifting to 2.4GHz which caused all the problems. Why does it have to be so painful to get simple answers at Verizon "affiliate" stores. Can't you just train them with the basics of good customer service instead of "oh no we can't help fix your problem, we only sell stuff". I hated xFinity's greed and arrogance with billing tactics, but at least you can walk into a store and get answers. read more

Beware of this store. I went in to upgrade my phone. That part overall went well. But they never sent the phone I turned in back to Verizon! You can't get through their phone line and they did not respond to my many voicemails and email. This is not owned by Verizon store, but run by Russell Cellular. So Verizon charged me for the remaining balance of my phone and there was nothing I could do about it. Avoid this store and try to find one that is actually owned by Verizon. Also make sure to get your tracking number if they are sending back your phone so you can hold them accountable. I trusted them blindly which was my mistake. read more

Do not go with Verizon! This place is the biggest scam I worked with Moses at this location 2 years back and needless to say I have had issues ever since. He incorrectly set up my account so my billing was incorrect and I was getting bills for devices that were not even mine, I had go through the fraud department and file a police report to get everything sorted out. Fast forward less than two years and my monthly billing has increased by 20% for the same exact service with no options to reduce my monthly payment outside of dropping down to a lower tier service which is still more expensive than what I was originally paying. I have switched over to another service provider and will NEVER go back to Verizon horrible customer service and they are lacking a knowledgeable staff. Not very knowledgeable or aware of recent system events or outages that could and have affected millions of customers nationwide. Also the store was severely understaffed, but this is an ongoing problem during these economic times. Other than that the store was very clean and the employees very respectful and kind. read more

I am an out of state college student who had an unfortunate moment with my phone. Out of frustration, I threw my phone at my wall and it quite literally exploded in front of my eyes. In utter hysterics, I managed to find this Verizon store. With no questions asked, Moses kindly helped me get a new phone that day. Not only did he let me use the store's phone to talk with my mom, but he at no point made me feel uncomfortable for being there in such a distraught state. To this day I am grateful for how this experience was, and if I'm honest, I would travel back here for the store even if I was home. read more

We want to recommend this location because of the most helpful and knowledgeable sales person here. His name is Wong V. He is very kind, patient and unpretentious, but very expert in taking care of our iphone problems. We had a very old iphone that was no longer being updated in software. He helped us to choose an excellent newer model and was very patient in transferring all our data. Previously we visited Apple but they did not offer a good solution. I cannot say enough good things about the manager of this store, Moses. He restored my faith and business with Verizon. I was switching to another carrier to save money. I followed the process with both and it never switched. Yesterday I'd gone to another Verizon store (Arlington 0 stars) who did nothing. What surprised me as I went through the process no one tried to retain my business. Then there was Moses. He presented me with options matching the other carrier with no change to my service keeping my business. That is customer service. read more

These days when getting Verizonwireless support is tough it's great to have a local office to support your needs. Here I had No pressure to purchase items... I've bought 4 phones here and recently two more on line from Verizon. This franchise store Gave me the same service and help with the phone purchased on line that I expected had I bought the phone from them. Much quicker than Online chat help, which takes awhile and with our latest issue, chat failed to resolve. This shop fixed it. read more

I waited for a half an hour while the staff waited on another family. This could have been avoided with a quick check in. Either get more staff or develop a different system, but the system you have does not work for customer satisfaction. After plenty of frustrating trips to other Verizon Wireless stores, this one is shockingly refreshing. They're friendly, and they do everything possible to not only get what you're looking for but also to get it at a great price. And if they know you're looking for something in particular that they don't have. They go to great lengths to find it. A big reason is because the owner Rakesh is truly a nice person. It's not often I say that. But he's all about customer service in a genuine way. Translation: he looks at people as people and not as cash machines. This translates to the way the rest of the associates I've had to deal with there (Joseph, Manny, and Teo) also are super-friendly and helpful. You know how sometimes at Verizon Wireless stores you have to wait forever so that by the time you actually do deal with a sales associate you are barely capable of making a rational decision because you're hungry and thirsty? Don't worry. They have a big bowl of candy and a filtered water machine. And they actually offer both to customers. It's fantastic that this store is located in Watertown Square because that makes it easy for just about everyone in the area to get to. They also have a parking lot which is another bonus. Yes !! Amazing pleasant informed people work at this store. I too had gone to other Verizon stores. I've moved here recently and also didn't realize it was here. Last time I upgraded I was there for hours uggg. Not only was it easy-breezy Dave was so patient with my mom. Also when I was there earlier Joseph said that we were paying to much on our older plan !! Wow he reduced our monthly payment & we now have unlimited Data!!!! This is my go-to from now on. read more
