I found this place at the last minute when trying to find something to do before leaving on a long weekend to Vermont. It is located right over the border in NY not too far from Lake George. Chris was great and figured out how to fit us in on a trip despite the short notice and weather issues. I wasn't expecting too much on the intensity level as it is a "guided tour" but figured it might be a fun way to waste a half day. On the contrary, this experience was fantastic and is not boring regardless of your experience level. Their set up here is great with the machines being top notch and fast while the extensive property offers many different types of terrain and situations which make the riding fun and interesting (possibly scary at times!). There are fairly steep hills to climb/descend, rocks to go over, straightaways to accelerate and mud bogs to plow through. You will get wet/dirty/dusty/jostled around, which is a good thing so dress accordingly. This isn't a Driving-Miss-Daisy type of activity so don't expect to be driving around slowly in a circle or frolicking through the forest. Overall, Chris and Lynn provide a great experience here for everyone from novices thru more seasoned riders in addition to being friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend. read more

Amazing experience for me and my group of 4. 20/10! Had no issues or cons. Social Experience: 1. Chris and Lyn (spelling?) The owners are a blast to do this tour with as they made us feel like friends rather than customers. 2. They love to chat and take pride in the trails..they had fresh maintenance done for maxing out the excitement. 3. One of our couples had to go to the bathroom and were returned to the trails within 5 minutes right behind us. ATVs & Trails: 1. The 2 and 4 seater Polaris 900 RZRs were amazing mountains goats they climb everything!! 2. They are not limited or suppressed unlike other places that mod thier atvs yo ne slower and less agile. 3. The jump we hit about 6-8 times and we got some good air even while being cautious with not over doing speed. 4. The trails has fresh water brought out to make bigger splashes, fresh dirt to patch the dogs left from other quads before us and overall great climbs, corners and slopes. Conclusion: Very worth the price, safe as you can get with all the gear provided, bottled cold water at the end was a nice refreshment after that workout. This was everything you could want and more! Chris and Lynn are so organized and professional. The property is spotless and the garage is top notch. Every detail was accounted for. You can tell a lot about a place by how it is kept up and I knew we were in the right spot. They catered to all the experience levels in our group so no one felt they were out of their comfort zone but believe me, if you wanted to rip wfo, you surely could! The trails were awesome and challenging and you can tell Chris and Lynn have their hearts in this business. It was over 100 degrees out and they even hooked up a water shower to cool us off inside our machines! I would recommend Adirondack ATV to anyone. We will be back! Kudos to Chris for hooking up my nephew with his own machine. It made it totally rad for him. Also, props to Lynn for ripping on the four wheeler. This place is Friggin' Awesome! Chris, the owner, and his wife are your tour guides, and they want you to have a great time, every time. They are friendly and informative, provide a clean ATV Stable/welcome desk, and even more importantly clean and like new helmets, goggles and dust masks. They also get a new fleet of ATV's every year. The tour starts with a brief warm, during which they may make adjustments to the running order of the group. This allows the for faster drivers to be up front. For anyone that wants as much speed as the guide has to offer, and will allow, this is HUGE. The trails offer a very full variety of terrain diversity and technicality. You will get to wring out all of the performance e the machines can provide and the trails can offer. I go to Lake George with my family and girlfriend every year. Made the trip to ADK ATV tours. I cant tell you how long I have been waiting for a place like this. The cost is extremely fair, get an hour and a half with a water break / driver switch if you want. All the equipment is cleaned after each tour for the next group. My girlfriend even noticed the gloves were cleaned. Chris and Lynn provide everything needed for a great ride. This is the first place I have been to which actually lets you have fun with the equipment. Reached speeds of 40mph in locations you wouldnt think of. This is not your slow moving scenic trip. Steep hills, log bridge, wood ramp, tight turns, wide open areas and the JUMP. Actually got air born multiple times. Will be back next year! IF YOU DONT GO TO ADK ATV TOURS YOU ARE MISSING OUT! We had a blast! My 2 sons and I took the 90-minute drive from the Albany, NY area to Whitehall. Driving directions provided by Google Map were spot on and we had no problem finding the place. It was a high school graduation celebration for my 18-year old who drove by himself one of the 2 ATVs we rented. Both vehicles were very clean and apparently well maintained. It took us only a few minutes to become comfortable operating the Polaris. We had a Go-Pro with us and it recorded we were cruising at 20-30 mph on part of the trail. The vehicle was very stable going up and down the hill, at no point did we feel it was in danger of rolling over. This is largely due to the safety instructions provided by Chris prior to the tour. All the safety equipment, including helmet, eye goggles, and Ninja mask were provided for. We definitely would do this again in the future. read more

Great time and highly recommend! We drove the 4 person RZR and we had no shortage of fun. The tour itself covered a lot of different terrain and the length was perfect, we even saw some Deer as we buzzed by. Chris and Lynn are great at making sure everyone is enjoying the tour at the speed they are comfortable with as they stopped us a couple times to rearrange the order to move the slower drivers to the back. Like they say this is no joy ride as we hit touched 40 mph a few times and even got a little air a couple of times. Make sure you wear clothes that you'd be ok with getting ruined as you will get wet and muddy (you can sort of control how much this happens). I would also recommend bringing a garbage bag and towels to wipe off. We will definitely try to make this an annual visit or at least anytime we're in the Lake George area. read more

Spent a morning here with 5 friends for a bachelor party activity. This was truly exhilarating. The ATV grounds are vast and varied. We got wet, muddy and shared a ton of laughs. The owners of this operations are kind but stern about safety. They want you to have fun but they need to know you understand how to keep yourself safe. The vehicles themselves are in incredible condition. Nothing feels run down or overused/overworked. The grounds are also well-maintained. Everyone had an incredible time. We all would highly recommend this activity for any group or family regardless of the occasion. If you like to have fun and you enjoy driving fast, getting dirty and absorbing a ton of bouncing ATV movement, this is definitely for you. This was the highlight of our vacation in the adirondacks, Chris & Lynn are amazing hosts, and guides. You don't feel like a customer you feel like a friend invited over to play in the woods for the afternoon. All the equipment is top notch, they go through all of the safety stuff and you mount up in your ATV and off you go. Chris takes it slow at first to get you used to it and then ramps it up and away you go. The trails are great some technical corners and some fast straights and a jump here and there. We even had a doe and her fawn checking out the action for a bit. I can't wait to go back and have some more fun in the woods! read more

Can't say enough good things. Chris and his wife Lynn and the nicest people and will make you so comfortable if you have never ridden side by sides before. If you are even considering doing this DO IT! Equipment is new and spotless, they give you brand new helmet socks and goggles. Bathrooms are spotless and the whole facility is well maintained. The reviews say it all, we had an absolute blast yesterday riding the Polaris 900's up in Whitehall. Chris & the staff are beyond friendly & accommodating. The "tour" is 2 hours long and your foot will be on the gas pedal nearly the entire time - through mud, rocks, leaves, trees & climbing hills, hitting small jumps. The staff have a close eye on the riders at all time and make sure nobody is pushed outside of their comfort zone while also making sure nobody is bored - we were experienced riders, and this trip was intense! If your into motorsports of any kind this place will be right up your alley. I have frequently visit this place for that past two years and can't get enough. They have just under 400 acres of land crawling with trail's of all sorts from fast dirt roads, jumps, technically down hills, and my personal favorite fast paced hill climbs. We had an absolute blast! Our 19 yr old son said it was better than the rental/ride we did in Utah! I was skeptical at first because it was a guided tour but because the trails are so intense it made it really nice to just focus on the trail rather than worry about getting lost. It was the perfect balance of hills, mud, rocks, and speed through some beautiful country. Chris and Lynn were professional and first class. You have got to do this. Went with a few family members this past weekend rented (2) 2 seaters and 2 singles. Absolutely worth every penny!! Chris and his wife Lynn are great people. Course is perfect hills, flats, smooth rocks, Bumps, turns wooden hill and logs etc etc. Chris took us around with great knowledge. Machines were Great and their quality was A-1. Great Great fun!! Rented 2 ATVs from Chris and Lynn and you get 90 full minutes of fun, speed, adventure and wholesome fun. We missed the last tour of the day but they still accommodated us and took us any way. It felt like my hubby and I went to our best friends house and we rode with them. Chris and Lynn are very good people. The tour itself was a blast. I took my wife and three kids, age 20, 19 and 15. One of the highlights of our trip up to the Adirondacks, I could not recommend it more. They're very accommodating, bathrooms were clean and if someone doesn't want to go as fast as others, they can accommodate that as well. They do a great job. And if you want some air time, you can get that too. A fun and very rugged (challenging) course. But they keep u safe even when pushing it. This is so much fun!!!! My husband and I had a two seater that was clean and fast!!! Having no experience on atv's wasn't even an issue, these machines are super easy to drive. Chris and Lynn make sure that you are comfortable driving them before you even hit the trails. Safety and fun are the number one goals for them and they exceed that by a mile!!!! We had an awesome time. My grandson (11yrs old) had the best time even just riding. He can't wait to turn 18 so he can drive. Loved Getting Air. Chris and Lynn could not have been any nicer and extremely knowligble about all aspects of ATVing . Even grandparents can do it! I am 6'2" 300 lbs and had no trouble with operating the machine.
