I did not knowingly sign up to finance my insurance premiums or agree to finance charges. Years later, after requesting my insurance records, I received transaction ledgers containing finance charges and installment-type entries that do not match how I remember paying my insurance. I have repeatedly requested the underlying payment history and documentation showing exactly how my payments were made and what authorization AAA relies upon to claim that I agreed to premium financing. This is particularly concerning to me because I specifically remember going into AAA offices and paying my insurance in full. If AAA claims that I elected to finance my premiums, I believe they should be able to produce the agreement or authorization showing that I actually chose that payment arrangement. Instead of receiving a clear explanation and complete documentation resolving these discrepancies, I have spent a tremendous amount of time trying to reconstruct my own payment history. I am not claiming that every employee at this branch was responsible for what happened. My review concerns my experience with the insurance policies and payments associated with AAA, including payments I made through the La Quinta office. Customers should keep their receipts and copies of every insurance payment they make. Based on my experience, I wish I had kept every single receipt from every year.

So I called the office wanting to speack with the person that sent the email. Keep in mind, this agency has not contacted me personally since I signed up with them. Anyway, the person was nopt available therefore I asked for a return call. I am here 5 days later, NO CALL. I can't take the risk with an insurance agent that does not return calls, what if I had a claim? They would probably not call then either. Bottom line, I am changing agents and low and behold at a better rate with the same Carrier Mercury. My opinion is, the management of this group doesn't care about my business.
