First off let me say I am truly blessed, appreciative & thankful for Verrazano Motorworks assisting me in my desperate time of need. When I thought life couldn't get any worse for me especially when it came to my car knowing how expensive BMW's are. As well as knowing my car was standing on its last legs. Verrazano Motorworks stepped in (and said were gonna take care of you, don't worry about it) I'm sure we've all heard that before so as a human I was skeptical but then when I saw the vibe & the genuity from the staff there. I have a bmw 335i xdrive 2011 that was barely standing giving me all sorts of problems from engine issues, timing belts, Idrive console, window buttons, expansion tanks etc that was gonna cost me 15K+ they have worked their magic for almost half the price & all bmw certified parts no after market junk. They have went beyond their way of providing me fair prices to stopping everything at a moments notice, heard me out when it came to the car & helped my comfort with giving me different options. Having recently moved to New York, I had been looking for a BMW shop to establish with. To provide some background information, I own a 2007 E92 335i (N54 engine) and 2009 E92 328i (N52 engine), both of which I custom ordered from Germany and have owned since 3 miles on the odometer. I am extremely particular regarding the work performed on my car. My 2007 335i is almost track ready; I have performed most of the work on it myself, maintenance and modding included, and have always been present for any work not performed by me. Having said that, due to my job and new responsibilities, I no longer have the time to perform the work myself, yet I am just as enthusiastic about my car hobby and being a gearhead. Luigi and Eddie have proven time and time again how meticulous they are and their strong work ethic. I have brought both of my BMWs to them for routine maintenance and modding. Verrazano Motorworks is the only shop I would wholeheartedly trust to work on any one of my cars without being personally present. I want to first start of by thanking the guys over at Verrazano Motoworks for the awesome work they did on my BMW. I was referred to Luigi and Eddie from a long time customer of theirs and was a little nervous about anybody but BMW doing any work on my car. I first had some hoses replaced and they did excellent work on my vehicle. Some time later my engine started leaking and needed work done immediately. Luigi told me it was going to be a tough job however he pulled out the engine and fixed the issue and now my car is running like new. He was very fair with the pricing which was a sigh of relief because anyone who owns a BMW knows that once the warranty expires that is when the expenses start. I recommend anyone not sure of an issue they are having to pop in and let Luigi or Eddie take a look and give you their honest opinion. I work hard for my money and look for the best value when purchasing goods or services. That said, I have on occasion made a purchase that needed some TLC. Luigi, Eddie, and John at Verrazano Motorworks have bailed me out when purchasing a couple of old BMW's and bringing them back to life for me. Case in point.. i just received back from them my somewhat rare 1988 E28 M5 that was in need of refreshing and some restorative work. i wish i could post some photos so i could show you all what a beautiful a job they did! I've been taking my cars to him for over 15 years dating back to when he was still with BMW, I only trust him and his guys with my ///M cars. their prices are always exactly what I expect and the work is always top notch. For the first time, I have found a motor shop that has first-rate knowledge and expertise, whose liaison is easy to understand, and that charges a decent rate for work. I found Verrazano Motorworks through a Google search and agree heartily with the high reviews it has earned on Yelp. I came looking to bring my BMW up to standards, and Luigi walked me through all the specs on the car, informing me I have a vehicle recall, and predicting, based on my mileage, that certain things will need replacing imminently. My vehicle broke down in the area.. I searched for mechanic shop near by and Verrazano Motorworks was on top of the search, I gave them a call and explain my situation, they arranged a tow for me and explain the issue with detail. I needed my vehicle as soon as possible and they guys promised me they would have the car done for me by the end of next business day, sure enough next day I got a call telling me that my vehicle was completed, when I got to the shop my vehicle was in perfect running conditions and CLEAN!!! Verrazano Motorworks is a top notch auto repair shop. But, unlike most people who have reviewed them, I don't have a BMW. My 2008 Acura TL was in need of major work, after a mishap that resulted in a bent frame, tire rods, and a steering problem. John was very helpful in his advice regarding the repair, and Luigi and his crew did a terrific job repairing my much loved car, at a reasonable cost. They went above and beyond, even repairing some damage to my rims. They are polite and respectful and worked in an efficient manner. I highly recommend them. read more

I had an issue with my 435i bmw. Had it at the bmw dealership in edison. There was a problem with my transmission. Drove the car to the dealership and had it towed out ecause they couldn't fix it. That same day I found out about verrazano motorworks and had it towed straight from the dealer. It took them only a couple of days to diagnose and fix the problem that same week. I was looking for a shop to fix the engine on my Mercedes. Every time I took it to the Mercedes dealership they always had terrible service and I was always overcharged.
