When Co-Owner Louie opened Vetrazano Motor Work, I started to bring my car there, and found that not only is Service spectacular, but fair and honest is an understatement...I did not know i was being ripped off by my prior Mechanic until I started bringing my Car to Verrazano Motor Works. They bring with th am years of experience on not foreign and domestic vehicles. They are highly efficient and accommodating. If you feel like you are currently going to Mechhanic who is not doing right by you, you should go to Verrazano Motor Works. I have a 10 y/o Pontiac and Louie has been maintaining it since the opening o f this bussiness. I trust them and feel confident that the work is being done right. I'd like to mention, they di agnosed an issue I was having for years, which tyhe other shop could not, in a matter of a quick drive around the block.

This is after calling and visiting 3 other places that were supposedly open according to google, but actually decided to stay shut - likely because it had snowed fairly heavily. Anyway, I was lucky enough to get Elton on the phone who told me to come on in for my oil change and I got there 6 minutes later. First, he cleaned the snow off my car. Offered me a seat in the waiting room in the back of the shop. After fiddling on my phone for a bit, I decided to go and check on the status and just as I stood up off the chair Elton was walking in to let me know it was done. 15 minutes, maybe, for the oil change. Synthetic for a 2024 car - was $90. Reasonable. Not do it yourself cheap, but not outrageous either. Honestly, no appointment, weekend, bad weather, arrive and receive service immediately, friendly. I'm literally writing this immediately after leaving because they deserve the praise. Also, there was a beautiful.. I mean absolutely beautiful Chevrolet inside the garage, I'd guess from the 80's, but it could have been late 70. Heck, it could even have been early 90's, I have no idea. All I know is 20 years ago I'd call it a piece of junk but today I couldn't take my eyes off it. Funny how that happens. Anyway, I digress a second time. Any business who thinks that I owe it to them to spend 3x more money to give them my business for a job that I can do myself, does not get my business anymore. I was seriously taken aback by the attitude of the owner to act like I did something wrong by doing my own car repairs. Replacing a battery is not a difficult repair. And I don't care if you think that the quality of the battery that I got somewhere else is crap. I brought the car there to try to find out why the battery kept dying. Even if the new battery I put in was crap, the previous battery was the one that he had put in a few years before and I had the same problem with that one for years and he knew that. There's something going on with my car that causes it to drain the battery if you don't drive it at least every few days. Anyway, I really don't appreciate being yelled at by any business for any reason. Maybe I could understand that if I was rude to you but not because I didn't hire you for another job that you think I should have. That's just totally out of line. I had mostly good experiences before. But they weren't so good that I could forgive this.
