I immediately brought the car back, which caused me to miss work. Over the next four days, I experienced extremely poor communication and customer service. I was then charged an additional $1,260, bringing the total to over $4,000, despite the original problem never being resolved. During this time, Julio forgot to order parts, Blamed Mercedes for delivery delays that were his responsibility Completed only part of the work he originally quoted, later denied ever quoting $3,800 or offering a $2,800 cash price The lack of accountability, shifting explanations, and failure to resolve the original issue made it clear that he was not trustworthy. They patched my tire , changed my rims and did it within 10 minutes. Very fast service. And then I was shocked at how low I was being charged for all of that. They have a sign showing charges for their services and to me they are undercharging. Next time I have tire problems , I will go to this place and bring some cash with me so I can tip them for their excellent work and give them something more than what they charge. They deserve it.

THEY NEARLY KILLED ME TWICE. DANGER! GOING HERE IS DANGEROUS TO YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES. THIEVES AS…read moreWELL. In May of 2025 my girlfriend's car needed the transmission replaced. Her family had been going to them for years despite many red flags. They claimed that they could replace the transmission and in less than 5 days they had the 2018 Subaru Forrester back on the road claiming it was tested and safe, but on the drive from their shop to Bayonne I heard a metal grinding and chose to bring it back first thing in the morning. At 9am I'm driving over the bridge and the car going 45 mph dead stops in the middle of the road screeching to a stop. After calling 911 and having a fire truck come and block traffic I was towed off the bridge. They claimed the transmission must have been faulty and they spent the next 5 weeks finding a replacement to fix the Subaru and in that time never answered a single phone call, sent one text, and the owner sent 2x audio texts saying the car needed more time because he is a coward to afraid to talk to clients when he messed up. Then once the car was done he sent a voice message saying it was ready. The next morning I was driving the Subaru on the turnpike in New Jersey doing 65 at 5am and the CAR DEADSTOPS IN THE TRUCK LANE A 2ND TIME LESS THAN 24 HOURS AFTER I GOT THE CAR BACK. Barely survived both times because no one was driving behind me but imagine slamming on your brakes, pulling the emergency brake, and putting the car in park at the same time while going 65 mph. This happened on a Sunday so the shop was closed but no way was I trusting them a 3rd time so I had a shop in New Jersey replace the transmission again after I got towed off the turnpike, and then towed to a new mechanic. Then I had this NJ mechanic remove the transmission and I brought the broken transmission back to Tune IT Up in the back of a rental as a favor to the owner so he could get the money back on the warranty for the transmission. CAN ANYONE GUESS WHAT THEY DID WRONG BOTH TIMES??? NO DIFFERENTIAL FLUID WAS PUT IN TRANSMISSION EITHER TIME. THESE GUYS DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THEY ARE DANGEROUS. After bringing back the broken transmission to them Andrew said he'd return the broken transmission for the warranty money. He spent the next 6 months avoiding my texts and calls and even though he got $2500 back for the transmission and I paid him $4200 he has only refunded me $1000 and I paid him over a year ago. He has now been paid $6700 to break my transmission twice and almost kill me twice and I had to pay another $4000 to the NJ mechanic so he could do the job right. ANDREW IS A CROOK AND A COWARD AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU RUN Don't walk, RUN AWAY FROM THIS MECHANIC. If I wasn't driving and keeping a cool head while skidding I could have easily flipped or headed into oncoming traffic. Imagine if your child, wife, parents or anyone you care about was put in the situation I described do you think they will be as lucky as me? Do you think you'll dead stop when no one is behind you like I did? I'm not one to leave negative reviews but these guys are a danger to the public. If they messed up once that's one thing we are all human but they put two transmissions in our car without checking if both of the two fluids put in a transmission were in there. They cut corners and don't care about your life or the lives of the ones you care about. I attached photos of the text exchanges I had with Andrew from time I'm getting towed off the Bayonne Bridge to April 2026. Still avoiding me, still has my money. And he's waiting to get yours next.
