I…read morerecently called the Webster office--not the general appointment line--to schedule a visual field test. I specifically asked whether this test was provided and was told yes. Based on that information, I made the appointment, waited nearly three weeks, took time off work, and drove 25 miles one way, only to be informed upon arrival that I first needed an eye exam and that they would then decide whether to schedule a visual field test approximately three weeks later. This important detail was never communicated to me when I called and clearly explained what I needed. I am extremely disappointed with this lack of communication and the inconvenience it caused.

Surprisingly, they had a couple of openings that evening and told us to come right in. They only work with older children at this location ​but were quick to give us their recommendation​ for someone nearby that also takes our insurance and is great with younger kids, and then fit my husband and me in right away. The Optometrist here is probably the nicest Optometrist I've visited​, and in 30 years of wearing glasses and/or contacts, that is saying a lot. Eye exams are pretty routine and a lot of Doctors breeze on through but he was very thorough and kind. The optician asked me what styles I like and made recommendations based on what I asked him and stuck within what my insurance covered when I wanted to ​stay under that limit (I primarily wear contacts, so these glasses are replacing a much older pair with an outdated script that I only wear at home in the evenings) and did not try to upsell me. I managed to find a pair of glasses that were similar to my old pair but that I like better. Finally the woman at the front desk was amazing, not only was she super friendly and kind, but she was kind to my kids and made us feel right at home while waiting. We have definitely found our new Vision Care "home".

(Since then I was sort of forced to go to other places that were "in network" with my insurance. Every place I got glasses, they were just not that great. Contacts, I could not even see out of, and had to return.) I went back to Webster Eye Care in 2019 and just paint full price, since they are still to of network. NO REGRETS. Perfect glasses, frames, everything. Now I need another pair, I won't waste my time with local places that are in network for Davis Vision. I'd rather go to Webster Eye Care Associates and get a quality, long lasting, accurately fitted pair of glasses that I can see out of. thank you,

She misdiagnosed a condition in our 2…read moremonth old grandson and prescribed 2.5% hydrocortisone and told my daughter to slather it generously all over affected areas on the skin and he now is like a burn victim with sores and open wounds all over his head. Our grandson has suffered for 2 months and nothing will help his condition. She was very negligent in her diagnosis. And now the hydrocortisone has caused a severe fungal infection. Our entire family goes there...but NOT any more. STAY AWAY!

But I do expect the physician to do what s/he says is the…read moreplan. 1) I did not get the sized impant we disucssed (this was cancer reconstruction) nor 2)Did he do the fat-grafting that was also discussed and agreed. This was the primary reason for the sugery... to correct an inverted nipple and to round-out a 'squared' area of one breast for symmitry It was a big and disappointing surprise when I woke up. Dr. Vega by the way, said he thought I wanted to be smaller just ahead of the surgery(!?). I had to remind him we discussed him trying out 2 or 3 different sizes to get a C/D cup, which I was before the cancer, and for symmitry. It was clear he forgot, and did not order larger sizes. Whe we discussed that the fat transfer wouldn't have made a difference, he himself suggested I get a 2nd opion. I did.... going to the doctor he recommended. Mistake. At that visit this doctor referred to Dr. Vega by his first name (friends or what?) and said the work was 'just fine'. ("not") Dr. Vega's office then sends a letter saying that since I went to another practice I am no longer their patient. Please note... my records were not sent to the office I used for a 2nd opion, I went for a 2nd opinion at his suggestions, and I never said I was leaving his practice. What is interesting, is that the fat-transfer work I had done prior (but in Florida so no longer covered by my insurance) was great. And my new, local doctor was able to complete the 'tweaks' just fine. Last, there were no office visits of any sort made prior to the surgery, and so it is not a surprise Dr. Vega lost track. But he did not make it right, and his arrogance was awful though he did call to personally apologize after one particularly nasty visit. I expect my surgeon to have just enough arrogance and confidence to cut me open. But not to the point where s/he does not listen. This review will be shared elsewhere as well.

I'm a 44 year old paramedic that has lifted a few too many hefty patients out of awkward positions through the last 25 years and as a result need a great chiropractor to keep me squared away. When my chiropractor closed her shop I asked where she got adjusted... I mean what's a better recommendation than where your chiropractor goes, right? That's how we ended up with Joe. He's got the moxie to give me a great adjustment and the finesse to work with my two year old as well. Dr Joe also has CACCP after his name, which means he actually has 200+ hours of specialized training for kids. If your child is seeing a Chiropractor without that certification they may not be getting the absolute best care they could. Just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you should. That's the difference in those letters. Dr. Joe has a special interest working with kids on the sensory processing disorder and autistic spectrums. Dr Joe is your one stop shop for all your family needs. He's got two locations which cover nearly all of Monroe County, and he's worth the drive!

After an adjustment I can actually feel the blood flowing to my neck again. I don't know how I survived before. Dr. Joe is the friendliest, most helpful health care practitioner I've seen.
