They ladies inside were busy wrapping gifts nearly the entire time I looked around so they didn't pay any attention to me and they weren't as schmooze to me as they were to the older couples inside so it's hard to tell if they just counted me off because I'm in my 30s or not but when I went to pay they made pleasant enough small-talk so as not to keep me from coming back, plus I enjoyed being able to roam around and take everything in on my own without hovering. It is time for a review to see how things have been. These days, it's just me picking up meds here since Sophia transferred hers to another pharmacy. Again, drive-thru is used. For some stops, the line can be a bit long, but since I pick my stuff up after work, it's no bother. From ordering on the Walgreens app, medications are ready for pickup either on the same day or the next depending on availability of supply. Unfortunately, my diabetes meds had to transfer to mail delivery for another provider due to the prescription, but nonetheless, everything else has been efficient. This is a seasonal market that runs from 10am-2pm every Thursday; mid-May through mid-September. They had a great variety of vendors. The food vendor that caught my eye had lobster rolls. There were two or three stands for fresh produce. They also had a few craft vendors and vendors selling homemades like soaps and dog treats. Only 1 MLM company from what I noticed. They also had a few local organizations. I spent most of my time talking to the local 4H Office representatives. As a former 4-Her this was a really nice surprise! This is a great way to spend a Thursday afternoon in Newport News, plus parking is free! You can also enjoy the shops and restaurants throughout City Center!
