I just want to give a shoutout to Ivan the manager at Vertigo Event Venue, we were three dancers hired to dance for an event here and Ivan made us feel so welcomed. He provided us with a nice dressing room, great hospitality and throughout the event I watched him be so fast & quick with food, dimming the venue lights, and whatever else was asked from him. I look forward to booking their venue in the future. Thank you Ivan!

This is the ideal space for your next event. Not only was Ivan and the rest of the staff there were so accommodating. From the actual planning of our prom to duties on the actual day of our event. They were there to assist with our every need. The venue provides an intimate feel and the decor was beautiful. Our students and staff had the best time and the Vertigo staff were a big part of the

My sisters and I celebrated our graduation party here last week! This was our first event at Vertigo and Mike was genuinely the nicest person to work with. The whole process was super easy and fun! When we got to the venue it looked absolutely amazing!! He added a lounge area and everything was better than I could have ever imagined! Every single one of my guests commented on how delicious the food was! They the appetizers were fantastic, but the chicken and beef were top tier! I personally could not stop eating, JUST DELICIOUS!! This was a huge milestone and I am so glad we chose Vertigo! I wish I could give it 10 stars!! Thank you so so much Mike and team for an unforgettable night!

This Venue is so nice!! no, like REALLLYYYYY nice! Def has elegance and poise to it. Its spacious, nicely decorated and has somewhat of a cozy feel to it. Its no surprise why this place is be a huge hit for weddings from current reviews that I read! I believe they have many places( rooms ) for your event based on capacity. The Space that we attended was on the top floor and it had a lounge/ bar which was so pretty. It was a candlelight event/concert. It also had an elevator and a very nice stairway. its def a place id consider for a wedding!!

Vertigo is the way to go. I celebrated my wedding reception in the White Ballroom on October 26th, 2024. Management and staff, from booking to event production to food service and bar and even security and valet were highly polished, professional and polite. My guests say this was the best food they ever had at a wedding. My tip: Don't be tempted to overindulge in the amazing appetizers so you can make space for the even better main courses! They even served a special kids meal for the 10-year old in my party. Mike, Aden, TJ and Zoltan were amazing to work with. They were communicative and reachable throughout. Vertigo Event Venue is a sexy space, especially the bar areas and even the restrooms are Instagram worthy. If you want to have a joyful event that you and your guests will remember, definitely book Vertigo.

There's so much good, idk where to start! Once we decided to get married in the LA area instead of my hometown, Vertigo was one of my first choices when researching. It was actually the first venue we visited. The inside is BEAUTIFUL, elegant, modern, luxurious, and sexy. Many of the keywords we were looking for in a venue. We met with Michael who greeted us with champagne as well as samples of their Dijon chicken. That chicken was everything y'all! He chat with us about our wedding ideas and gave us a tour. We were already sold but the package pricing was also right in our budget. We were looking for an all inclusive and this checked our boxes. We signed that day. We didn't even visit any others because we knew this was our wedding home. Michael was awesome. Once signed on, we were connected to Aden who handles event productions. An amazing guy who was communicative, responsive, and professional. He gave us suggestions when necessary and worked with our needs. He hosted us for our food tasting and took care of us on our wedding day. He did a great job every step of the way! Our the wedding day was beautiful! We used the whole building (white ballroom downstairs for ceremony, downstairs bar for cocktail hour, upstairs bar for open bar and black ballroom for reception). The also have a Tea Room upstairs that the wedding party used to store our things. The staff was friendly, drinks were fast and yummy, food was insanely good. Seriously, I have friends still raving about the chicken a week later. I honestly can't say enough about our experience with Vertigo. It was exactly what we needed for the best day of our lives, and I'm so happy we chose them.

I just had my wedding here on 4/4/24 and everything was soooooo perfect! The staff here really treated me and my wife like family. They went above and beyond anything I would've expected from a venue. Aden is the absolute sweetest and I could tell from my first interaction with him that he really cared about the success of my event. They are LGBT friendly! If you've never tried this type of cuisine, try it! So many people told me it was the best wedding food they've ever had. The food was so good I'm thinking about ordering more for no reason. Thank you so much Aden and Vertigo! You made my special day magical!

I have been to this venue about 4 times. All visits to this venue have been for private events. It is a beautiful venue with multiple rooms for all types of events, I believe they do weddings here as well. As I mentioned, I have only been here for private events. The building is 2 stories, one room upstairs and one downstairs. Outside each room there is a cocktail/mingling area. The one downstairs is much more ample and spacious. I am not sure what the capacity is for the rooms but they are both very ample as well. They do valet parking but there is also street parking available.

Ordered a delivery meal here the other night for a "social distance" dinner. Absolutely delicious! The spicy hummus was beyond stellar and the pasta is top notch quality. They also delivered the meal with a lovely message written on the bag. It's something we all needed to hear. Apparently they're also giving out free meals to homebound seniors during this time too. If you're looking to support a local business, I highly recommend Vertigo. They create delicious meals while also giving back to the community during a time of need. These guys have big hearts. read more

I don't even know where to start.. but this venue is AMAZING!!! We booked the venue the day we saw it.. it was the perfect size for our wedding reception. Planning a wedding requires a lot of details and the decor of this venue is perfect! It helped eliminate the added stress of trying to make somewhere look good because it already looked great! Aden assisted us in all the little details (table linens/napkins, menu, outside vendors etc) and handled all the big things the day of! Their in house options were so great that we didn't need to use an additional rental company. We had about 250 guests and every single one of them were also impressed... the food, service, decor, bar, security etc were all outstanding I highly recommend it! read more

Vertigo is truly an amazingly unique space with great vibes and energy. I just hosted my baby shower here and had the BEST experience (exceeded all my expectations)... All the team members are so phenomenally helpful, friendly, kind, and attentive. The food is so, so good and full of flavor - my guests were beyond impressed and inquiring on if Vertigo offers to-go orders and/or off-site catering. I hosted my Baby Shower on the 2nd floor (the Black Ballroom), the space accommodates about 300 guests and the look of the space is fully customizable. I highly recommend Vertigo Event Venue for big and/or small events... I will be a repeat client. read more

I had my daughters quinceañera here.From the moment we went to take a look at the venue. We fell in love. The details are so amazing, and our event was galaxy theme so the second floor went with our theme. The staff was amazing. The food was amazing The clean up crew was amazing. They accommodated to something's that we were missing, there wasn't anything that I had a complaint about. All of our guests complemented on how beautiful the venue is. Came here recently for their launch party. Beautiful event space! Vertigo help fills the nice-event-space void in this valley. The space itself is modern, sophisticated but appeals to all-ages. I could totally see all the spaces being used for various events from wedding receptions to birthday parties to office holiday parties! Plus, unlike LA, there's plenty of parking. The event itself was fantastic! Masses but really well coordinated from parking to drinks to apps. There was an awesome food presentation by Michael Kay and I'll say I've never seen anything like it! :) read more

Just had my wedding at vertigo on 12/11/21 and Aden took care of my wedding like a champ. The food was amazing and plentiful and the floor lighting and venue setup was beautiful. Words cannot express how truly A-M-A-Z-I-N-G our wedding experience was at Vertigo! Wedding planning is already daunting enough - but we had to do it during a pandemic! After having our wedding postponed due to COVID, we heard horror stories about other couples having to lose their deposit at other venues to reschedule. Not only was Michael and Aden so understanding, they actually found other ways to help us save money which they didn't have to do! Honestly I think that as a business they lost money by helping us out!! They cared more about our experience and it really showed. I can say with 100% confidence that I would do it again in a heartbeat with Vertigo! *Food* Numerous people in our wedding asked who catered because the food was so delicious! The venue offers to cook their own food, which you would think would not be as good as a stand alone restaurant... WRONG! The food was SO delicious we could not believe this was not from a 5* restaurant! We got the seafood buffet and sushi station as an add-on, and the quality of the seafood was so fresh and tasty! We are Korean and Chinese so having a mostly Mediterranean menu somewhat concerned us. Those concerns were relieved when we had our tasting and WOW.. blown away at the flavors and the quality of the food. Absolutely 10/10 delicious. I'm still thinking about the chicken. *Venue* For the price you cannot beat what you get. There are two rooms to choose from, the upper room which I think was called the black banquet (smaller) and the bottom room which I think is the white banquet? We had our wedding at the black banquet room which we used as both the ceremony and the reception. It was really convenient for the guests not to have to relocate to another location! The decor was really modern and fresh. Unfortunately our photographer wasn't as good, so the pictures did not give it justice. We looked around other places around the area and they looked kind of old and run down. Vertigo looked newly renovated, and it was very clean! I think their bathroom was featured in some kind of magazine as well. *Experience* Our day of coordinator that we hired and the staff at Vertigo worked seamlessly together - we did not have to worry about a thing. This definitely had to have been the most carefree wedding in history and we had so much fun. Could not recommend a better place to hold special events. If I ever have another big event, Vertigo would definitely be my first stop. read more

Best banquet hall and amazing costumer service! If you are looking to book a banquet hall for your next event don't look anywhere else this is the place!!! My husband and I did our wedding celebration here and we were so happy and satisfied with the service we received! Every single person helped us and make this stressful journey smooth and stress free. From Tj financial side and Aden who is the coordination manager available all the time with txt and Email and helped us in every aspect. There were always welcoming and willing to help you with any questions . The Kay12 catering was amazing and all the guest were in love with appetizer and main dishes. I don't know where to begin! If you are looking for top of the line EVERYTHING! Then Vertigo is where you need to be. They are ORGANIZED, ATTENTION TO DETAIL, AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE and ON POINT! There is nothing bad I can say about my experience here! My guests were still talking about how amazing the food and service was the next day (that's the best feeling!). This Venue is Amazing! I recently did my Daughter's Baptism here. Everyone there is super nice and helpful. Starting from Angela helping me coordinate things over the phone, to Aden helping me Finalize the details of our amazing night there, and Finally Heather who has to be the best waitress overseeing the guests and the food on the tables. Now let's talk about the Amazing Food! It WAS Delicious! From the appetizers to the main course, the food was Bomb! My Wife Aida and I were so happy we chose this Venue. It's Worth every cent! All my vendors had access you he facility early Sunday morning to set up all decorations on time before the event started and the entire staff was exceptionally helpful. I have attended this venue multiple times for several years. Our non-profit Armenian Eagles Foundation recently held its first Gala at this venue. The turnout and production was above satisfactory. Aden, Nonee and Mike were all exceptional in helping provide what we requested and we're very attentive to our needs. Aden did a great job of helping coordinate the day of event and management of the event with unexpected situations arising. I continue to enjoy the beauty of this venue with its unique look and will continue to plan more events in the coming future. Thank you Vertigo and Kay Catering. My fiancé and I went here to book only our wedding ceremony. We ended up booking the house for both our ceremony and our reception. The vibe and atmosphere is amazing and beautiful and fits our style perfectly. Michael is the best! So sweet and accommodating! Great location, helpful staff, delicious. Attended a bridal shower here and had a good time. The place is pretty, conveniently located, and has good food - what else could you want in a venue space? Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to snap photos but I can list my favorites. Their brussels sprouts were some of the best I've ever had! (And I have them wherever I go). The kale salad was good, the asparagus and carrots were great (with the right amount of salt), the other guests really liked their creamy chicken too. The servers checked on us, the drinks on the table didn't run out, and they helped refill and store the desserts we had brought. I will definitely consider this location the next time I plan an event. read more

The most beautiful venue with the best team ever. Working with Vertigo was such a seamless and exciting process. Vertigo is an amazing hall located in the heart of Glendale. Although it's an Armenian Hall, it is very different from all other Armenian halls in the greater Glendale area. Recently remodeled facility, has 2 seperate halls, one on each floor. Although just the interior design alone will set this hall apart from all the rest, the food and service is much much more superior than the rest as well. They offer a much more modern approach to the dinning needs of their guests and the servers here are super nice and helpful. read more

Simply stunning on every level! My company had our holiday party there a couple of times because we enjoyed it so much. I really enjoyed working Nonee. She made everything feel effortless. The venue is fairly unassuming from outside, but once you enter it's gorgeous. We had the black ballroom upstairs both times, and were so happy with how it looked. The staff has been awesome. The food is fantastic, including all of the appetizers, the cheese display, the desserts, you name it. I love that the bartenders we had both times did a lovely job crafting cocktails that were beautiful and delicious. read more

This place is a hidden gem in Glendale! I can't believe I didn't know about them sooner!!! We planned a small reception for work and were need of a spot to have it. At first, we were researching restaurants until one of my colleagues mentioned this place. When I heard "banquet hall" the first thing that popped to mind was all those cheesy, old, run down reception areas that I detest... Then I saw the pictures of this place... Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! It's absolutely beautiful! And let me tell you, the photos do not do it justice! We decided this spot is a go and we hosted our event here tonight. From the moment I walked in I was blown away how beautiful they remodeled this place. All the attention to detail was on point and you can tell they didn't skimp on anything. Then there was the service, the staff was wonderful, especially our host server for the evening. I wish I remember his name but he knows who he is. ;-) All in all, one of the best venue spots I've been to and I hope to host many more events here as its definitely special read more

Highly recommend this venue! We had our wedding here in May 2021. Despite all of the challenges that came along with hosting a wedding during these crazy times, Nonee, Mike, & Aden made the whole process easy. Just got married here a couple of weeks ago and couldn't have asked for a better venue! It's such a unique, beautiful and versatile space. They have the option to take the house so we got married in the white room downstairs and had the reception upstairs in the black room. The staff is super friendly and helpful - we had so many questions and felt like we were bombarding Carissa and Jerry but they were so patient and made sure to help us with anything and everything. Ummm... Can we just talk about the food for a second? AMAZING. Definitely don't skip on using their catering because the food is absolutely the best... I didn't have much time to eat at the wedding but luckily, they offer a tasting a few weeks before and everything was so fresh and so delicious. Your guests will not leave hungry or disappointed. I have hosted a number of events at Vertigo Event Venue, including a gala for hearing impaired children, Judges' Night, and most recently, my law school graduation party. Their service is impeccable. All my guests, including dignitaries were pleased with the food, the attentiveness of the waiters, and overall beauty of the venue. No other venue compares to Vertigo. Their talent is unprecedented and their quality is exquisite. The experience is unique! You will fall in love with Vertigo's bathrooms, glass elevator, gorgeous chandeliers, and poppin' bar. What a beautiful place! Just went to my friends' wedding here and everything was perfect. The location, the decor, the staff were all amazing. The food was INSANELY delicious - Kay12 catering can do so much. The dinner was a mix of Mediterranean and Indian (bride's culture) cuisine so we devoured everything from hummus to beef cheeks. Growing up in the area, I've attended my share of events at banquet halls: sweet 16s, debuts, at least 4 Armenian weddings, etc. The venues were all nice enough, but looked more or less the same and I couldn't distinguish one from the other in memory. I've been to 2 events now at Vertigo, and while both were different parties, each experience was unique and wholly memorable. This venue is SO not like the stuffy, "old" looking banquet halls Glendale is known for- Vertigo is fresh, chic, and well designed. I attended the launch party via an industry invite, and the first thing I noticed was the design: glass elevator, expansive floor plans, gorgeous chandeliers- I would've taken a selfie against any of the walls (shamelessly). The sound system was GREAT, the lighting made everything look epic, and whatever chair or seat I managed to find was comfy. The place was poppin' and everyone seemed to have a great time, from the bar to the lounge to the dance floor. Sidenote: the bar was A++ & the staff was genuinely friendly- a rarity 'round these parts! The food was very fancy-looking (I'm not a foodie, my descriptions aren't great, sorry) and I enjoyed everything I ate, even when I didn't know what it was. If you like food that looks like it's from a magazine shoot, then hey this is up your alley, probably. The second Vertigo event I snagged an invite to was a Sofar Sounds show. This is more my scene: live music in an intimate setting, with strong and delicious cocktails! I was surprised at how well they shifted the entire tone of their ballroom from one event to the next, and it fit really well! The lighting was again on point, and they had cool projections on the walls and their TV screens. The sound was PERFECT, recorded and live, and everyone in the (tragically hip) crowd appeared to really dig it. A great time. I'm not important or rich enough to have a reason to rent an event venue, but if I was, I'd seriously want to choose Vertigo because of their strong sense of atmosphere, and their adaptability- I saw some pics on their site from various events and it's like they completely transform the space. We just celebrated our wedding at Vertigo on 3/30/19. Both ceremony and reception were held at the Black room, and they truly exceeded our expectations. Aden and the team at Vertigo are true professionals and the best in the business. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I was very hesitant to have both ceremony and the reception at the same venue since I didn't hire a wedding planner or a coordinator to help with the room transformation and so on. However, Aden made sure I never felt the absence of a wedding coordinator . The transition from the ceremony to the reception was very smooth and seamless. The finger food and the bar service during cocktail hour was on point and our guests were amazed at how perfectly everything was coordinated. The food was very yummy!!!! Everything I chose from their menu with the help of Aden, was a hit with our guests. It's been 4 days and I'm still getting calls from our guests about how amazing everything was at the venue. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful/modern venue with top of the line service and food. I had my bridal shower at Vertigo recently and I'm so so SO glad I did. In addition to their delicious menu (which every single guest complimented), the management at this venue was absolutely wonderful. I worked mostly with Aden (who is a superstar). My fiancée and I were invited to one of her coworkers wedding. I had never been to an Armenian wedding before. This was my first Armenian wedding experience, and boy this place made a huge impression on me. If I would describe this place with one word it would be SEXY. Yes, that's the exact word I would use to describe this place. Every detail of the wedding was thought out. I asked the bride and the groom who they hired as their event planner cause they must be good, and they mentioned that everything was chef's choice. It was very nicely put together. As soon as you walk into the door, there is a hostess at the door that greets and welcomes you. Then you walk into this shiny lobby that screams classy. Every single architectural piece that you see in this venue looks like the best featured item from a Dwell magazine. The food totally something else. I wish this place had a to go option so we could order food from here during weekdays. Not only it tasted fantastic, it also looked fantastic. I have never had anything close to that deliciousness in any wedding I attended in my life. My first impression of the food was please be good, and after a bite, my second impression was just looking at my fiancée and with just an eye contact she understood what I wanted to tell her, that this is the place to have our wedding. All the staff were very friendly and food was constantly coming in. If anyone wants a suggestion for their food choice here, ask for beef cheeks. I would compare it to a fancy steak house $80 steak meal. read more

From the moment we stepped into the venue, we were met with a level of professionalism and warmth that continued on to our wedding day. The team at Vertigo -- Aden, TJ, Michael, went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our reception was perfect. They were attentive, responsive, and truly invested in making our day memorable. It felt like a family. The ambiance of the room (we had the black ballroom upstairs) was simply enchanting and exactly the feel we were going for. It came together with the flowers and decor that we had in mind. We had a first look before the guests entered, and I definitely cried seeing it all come together. Now, let's talk about the food! OMG. Everyone that we talked to (our DJ, photographer, friends who had been there) mentioned what amazing food they served, and they did not disappoint -- their food is exceptional! First of all, I would like to point out that it was a great pleasure to be able to share such an amazing night with my family and friends. I would like to thank Nonee, who is the sales rep that dealt with us. I would like to thank the event producer Jerry who is extremely organized and punctual. I would like to thank Michael, who introduced us to the menu during the food testing and answered all of our questions. It was great that we could try the food before booking a venue. On the day of the event, he was with us all the time, organizing everything. He made us feel like a part of his family. I am grateful to Katy who did a superb job. She accommodated all of our needs and perks every time we visited the venue. People like her understand needs of guests' without uttering a single word. It is another level of guest satisfaction and I would say happiness as well. Last but not least, I would like to thank Alex. He is remarkably responsive to guests' needs and requests. From bread to crumb, bite by bite our guests were blown away. Upon entry, valet greets your guests with style and grace - foot steps into the lobby added vibrancy to an already bright and shiny lobby/lounge. Our event was upstairs in the black banquet so the glass elevator just seemed like the right ride to the top. White on white aesthetics downstairs contrasted with muted grey tones upstairs. Within ten minutes, I had a cocktail (to order) handed to me and less than 60 seconds later I hate a steaming hot bacon wrapped date appetizer. I'm not a big fan of pork fat, but goodness paired with Gorgonzola cheese made for a perfect bite. Then before you know it the place was filled and the music was on melody. Dinner was 21 courses!! Wow. From the beluga lentil salad to the poached lobster with saffron aioli the food was marvelous. But of course the braised beef cheeks with black figs stole the show. Vertigo is a very terrible place to go to the only good part about vertigo is the location. Vertigo had very nasty food I would give them a -5 stars In the food category. Their chicken tastes like vomit with blue cheese. I did not eat the chicken kabob thank god. And all of their soft drinks are old and discussing the only good thing was the beef sliders yum.
