Went for the Christmas lights. Pretty cool little place! They have plenty of lovely places to take pictures, including ornaments that you can have your little ones run through! There is a nativity and occasionally a hymn so if you're sensitive to religious content there is some but very little. They have a cool fire pit area where you can roast smores, which I thought was a fun idea. A few different food and drink booths. Some days they even have a Santa for Santa pictures. They also have a ping pong table but I'm not aware of how to play that without cups of beer...so I didn't participate but overall pretty cool. Probably more fun for people with kids then people without. Also it is dog friendly but some dog owners are not responsible so beware of dog pee on hay bales or things you sit on. read more

I would give them a higher rating but the staff was not wearing masks and in busy areas no one was wearing a mask. They did have antibacterial pumps everywhere but the lack of mask, even outside still concerned me based on the number of people. Great place, especially for children! We don't have kids but we still enjoyed it, nice setup and a big open area to walk around. Lots of little games, a cow barrel train ride, some local bands played, and a big kid area to play. It's definitely more fun if you have kids or family, we just walked around and played a few games and fed some goats. They have a nice animal area and lots to look at. Spent hours here and had a great time! Kiddos 2yrs and under are free and $12 admission for everyone else. Once inside, the activities are included w your admission. We did pay $6 for a pumpkin to paint. Huge pumpkins for sale here! Ppl that take masks and social distancing very seriously should just stay home. Measures are not enforced but recommended. Its a big place but it was pretty packed today. Plenty of parking. Very dusty place (cuz it's a farm derr!) so don't wear your favorite shoes! read more

The owner Angela and her son Joseph have a lot to learn about being polite to their guests. Strongly suggest they visit their competition and learn better manners. Not friendly. Not jovial. Not welcoming. Maybe it was because we did not fit their expectations for welcomed guests. The lights are not worth the long wait. FYI don't pay the extra fee to order your ticket online. Prepays need to wait in the longest line. Buy your ticket there and wait in no line. If you want to see a light display you can find driving around a neighborhood for free. I loved the pumpkin patch and look forward to going again this year. They had lots of activities for the kids and it's really cute.

Typically each year we go to Mother Nature's Farm which is always a great experience. Decided to try this farm for the first time just to grab a pumpkin. It was literally the worst pumpkin/Fall experience I've ever had. You cannot show up just to get a pumpkin. When I asked the woman behind the window if we could just buy a pumpkin, she decided to tell my four-year-old daughter about all the toys and rides and candy and such so she had to go. So after paying $24 for two people which didn't include anything but a corn maze ride a petting zoo minus the feed, we went to straight to the "cow train". After this 2 minute ride which spins in circles my daughter had a massive stomachache and needed to leave. Being that we had been there a total of ten minutes, I asked to speak to someone who might be able to get us a refund. So I asked the owner, Angela, if we could have a refund since we had to leave abruptly. I told her what had happened, and she said, "so you came in and rode all the rides and now want a refund?" No, I explained, we went on the single two minute cow ride and now needed to leave. She proceeded to argue with me and lecture me about how we live in an age of "entitlement." As my daughter had a really bad stomach ache I asked repeatedly if she was going to refund the money or continue to talk to me about entitlement. She said, "it was necessary for her to have the conversation with me." I explained again that my daughter had a stomach ache and was she going to issue the refund and she kept talking and then yelling and it was quite embarrassing. I explained that I am a teacher in Gilbert and I deal with entitlement every day, all I wanted was the refund. Needless to say we were not given our money back and had to leave 10-15 minutes after arriving and paying $24. I have worked in customer service for a large part of my life even being the GM of a restaurant, and that was the worst handling I've ever seen an owner or manager have of the situation. Ever. She insulted us, made incorrect assumptions, and had no caring for the fact that I said my daughter was in pain. There are so many great options for fall experiences in this area. Anyone looking for one would be much better if at Schneff or Mother Nature's Farm. read more

This is based on two visits now. One was for their pumpkin festival and then our visit today to pick peaches and visit the store. Our visit to the pumpkin festival was not a great one. It was cramped into a small space and we didn't care for the variety of amusement rides, our opinion may change as our two-year-old gets a bit older. Our visit today was great. It was the last day for peach picking, which is good because they are really picked over. You can drive back to the orchards but we walked and it wasn't bad at all (except AZ heat, of course). The orchards aren't as smooth and even on the ground as Agritopia or Schnepf , so toddlers may have a challenging time without being worn or carried. Definitely wear tennis shoes and not sandals for fruit picking. We had a lot of fun. The cost was much cheaper than other farms. We paid $13.50 for about 10 lbs of peaches. They also sold already picked peaches behind the store. The store was really great, with produce and other edible goods primarily from local growers. We spent $10 on an enormous zucchini, two ginormous carrots, a bag of grapes, strawberry and a rouge apple our kiddo picked out. They even carry The Tamale Store tamales, frozen. Wish they had our favorite Tex Mex flavor! The store takes credit and debit cards and had a lot more goodies to choose from including some interesting spices, marinades, candies and salsas. We will be back to the store frequently and to pick fruit but prefer another local farm for pumpkin festivities. read more

Lights on the Farm was everything I'd hoped for and more. I purchased my tickets in July, we arrived just before they opened on Saturday. We waited in a short line but it moved quickly, maybe 10 minutes before I presented the tickets on my phone, they gave un entrance passes and we walked right in. The work that goes into this display is incredible, my applause to the Vertuccio family and everyone who had a hand in bringing this together. There are games for kids, and Santa was there on Saturday. The many light displays are synchronized to music, and they have a petting zoo (which I think I enjoyed as much as any six year old, and I'm ten times that old. I now want a tiny horse and a small long-haired cow ( if only they would allow in my HOA). They have an area with fire-pits where you can purchase s'mores packages, sit around a fire and roast your marshmallows. I'm disappointed we didn't do that, but my group voted for crepes instead. There were a few food trucks, we tried some yummy tacos and some tasty BBQ. There are a few desert booths, and a hot chocolate booth, which was the longest line I saw. I highly recommend this event, whether you have young ons are just young at heart. They also had a holiday craft booths where I picked up a last minute gifts, and of course a few gifts for myself because I've been a good girl this year. Veturccio Farms is a treasure, and if you don't make it for Christmas, keep them in mind for other events. Peach picking was awesome, and they also provided me with tomatoes for canning last year. Coming from a city in the midwest, I couldn't be happier to have Veturccio Farms right down the street from me. It's so important for all of us to support these small family farms that still remain. Excellent place to take the family for a day. The price of admission is extremely fair for the amount of activities. My six year old has a blast running from the zip line, corn maze, bounce pillows, see-saw, wagon rides, mini-golf, and so much more. All the activities are supervised by extremely sweet and helpful young adults. The kettle corn sold at the snack bar is delicious. They are places to picnic, beverages available, farm animals to see, and so many places to take beautiful pictures. Vertuccios is truly a highlight of the East Valley. read more

$15 per person is a little pricey for it not being a real pumpkin patch and being able to pick a pumpkin for "free". The pumpkin patch is when you exit and it's essentially pumpkins on a hay stacks not too exciting even for kids. Also the young lady at the exit was rude for not bothering to smile back at my group when we all smiled and thanked her. Me and my girlfriend went here on a date and there was absolutely nothing to do for adults, of course it was Arizona and we went around 3 pm so it was very hot because there is little to no shade provided. The corn maze was confusing and we couldn't find the exit on the outside let alone the inside of the maze itself. It was 7$ for a chocolate covered banana and 9$ for a camel cover apple which is ridiculous. The pumpkin patch was very disappointing as well, if you have small children this might be worth your time but if your an adult and want to have any fun there are so many better options for pumpkin patches, ended up going to Mother's Natures farm not even an hour after buying the tickets and that is worth the 15$ price to get in and you get a free pumpkin! read more

Went here last week to get out of the house. Kids wanted to go to a 'Pumpkin Patch' but I refuse to pay the prices of Schnepf Farms, but I digress. Vertuccio Farms has been around for years and has continued to improve. My boys, wife and I all had a great time and other than buying some warm apple cider and kettle corn we only spent $40. We also did the corn maze, mini zip line, barrel role, put-put. They also has 2 big jumping areas that the kids just go to town on (and slept the whole way home). One is life a massive jumping pad, the other, that everyone seems to enjoy the most, is the "air pillow". They also have lots of livestock to see and several little things to do while you're there, too much to list. Also had a few good tricks when we were there too. Overall we were super pleased with the experience. The price is reasonable for what you get, the employees were all super friendly and interacted with my kids, and even the food/drink prices were reasonable. Really has that "small-town feel" when you're there. Don't expect the ritz here but it's worth the money and the kids love it. We came here for the Christmas light festival And purchased the "ice skating," aka - plastic synthetic tiles on the ground! My bad for not scrolling down all the way to the bottom of their website where it says its synthetic. Its interesting that the order now button is at the top - almost like a bait and switch. Their were two other families complaining about the same when we were at the skating rink. I gave 1 star. Not because the skating rink was a joke and very deceptive but because of how rude the employees were at the mere mention of it being synthetic. I asked for a manager to share some feedback on how rude the little teenager girls were and guess what - the "manager" was even more rude and very unhelpful. Nothing is perfect but as a long time QC resident, this service was the worst. We will stick to schnepf farms as they always treat their customers well and know how to use manners. read more

I took my 9 month old son to Vertuccio Farms on October 20th with my family for the Fall Festival. We specifically went so that I could get some pictures of my son in the pumpkin patch (that is listed as an "attraction" on the map on their website and posted a couple of places at the farm). I paid $30 for the three adults to get in...we walked around the entire farm and there was no pumpkin patch. There are pumpkins in boxes for purchase at the front of the farm, but no pumpkin patch. I was pretty disappointed as there wasn't much to do there for a 9 month old, like I said the main reason for going was to get some pics of him. I would maybe put on the website that the pumpkin patch is not something that is available there despite what the map says. read more

Our family's favorite place to visit during the fall season! There is something for everyone here and prices are very reasonable . Today was the 1st time We visited the farm during the week and during the day time. The corn maze is easier to navigate during the daylight , but a lot more fun to do at night with some glow sticks ! Seems the daytime hours are more compatible for families with small children , the evening hours are geared more toward the older children . My kids absolutely loved the barrel roll and the zip line. There was a new activity this year, the inflatable mini golf! Be careful when you go during the week because they only do the tractor rides Friday Saturday and Sunday. The pumpkins are very reasonably priced and absolutely stunning this year! We only bought two on this trip , but we plan on buying more before Halloween. read more

I emailed the company to share my concerns/disappointment about our visit. I will copy and paste what I sent and then their response. I initially wasn't going to leave a review but because of absolutely horrible management I am. I'm appalled at how they responded. I know this is lengthy but please read the whole thing! Hi, My family and I visited the farm today and I just wanted to let someone know I weren't very impressed. The website and reviews made it out to be a lot more than it was. I was very disappointed to find out the "duck races" were rubber ducks you move with water. Sadening you can only ride the "train" one time. Not to mention it was insanely muddy over there and there was not any rags to wipe off the seats after people put their feet on them. I just felt very unhappy with our visit. We normally go to Schnepf Farms but decided to try y'all Instead and I regret not spending the extra money and going to schnepfs. What also stinks is you can't really do anything with your kids. I kind of feel like it was a waste of money because we were only stayed for 2 hours before we were bored. Last year we spent all day at the farm and in years past we've done the same thing. I would love if you can email me back letting me know you got this. I didn't want to post a negative review but did want someone to know how disappointed we were with our visit. AND here is their response. Thank you for your insight. We are not the right farm for you and your expectations under our current situation and we appreciate you letting us know. The place is over run by bees! We had enough time to walk in have my daughter go down the slide once then I was stung by a bee. I was just standing watching her. We started walking towards the entrance not there more then 3 minutes. As i had my husband go get our car I stood up front with my son(1) and daughter(3) to have our stuff and persons engulfed in bees. Your staff just stood there watching with blank stares as I tried to fight the bees off. No one asked if I was ok. No one apologized for anything or offered us to come back. We paid to walk in and walk out. Awful customer service. I will be sure to tell all I know to avoid this place. Never have I had such horrible service at a place ever. I'm afraid I have to agree with the other reviewers who cited the employees being rude. The kids had a blast and the two adults enjoyed watching the kids, ages 2 and 4, have fun. But we were snapped at for not getting on the last ride fast enough, in fact I was barely seated when he practically peeled away with the train hauling about ten cars full of adults and kids and where the other rides had been leisurely and enjoyable, he zoomed us through the route so fast our hair was blowing back and we were back at the starting point about 2 minutes after we left even though we went around the whole park. The worst part was when we left at six we went out to our car, which was one of only two in that section of the parking lot. We got the kids strapped in, which was no easy task because the two year old was screaming and crying because she knew getting in the carseat meant we were leaving and she didn't want to leave. My daughter gave them a bottle of water which they then started fighting over. Amidst all the screaming I was on my phone Yelping a close kid-friendly restaurant or fast food place to take them to eat because we didn't have time to eat at the park without it cutting into our riding and playing time. Suddenly I heard a knock on the window and an older man asked if everything was okay and let us know they could hear the screaming all the way over to the exit area, which wasn't that far away. In a friendly way I assured him everything was fine but they were just crying because they were tired from the long and enjoyable afternoon. He looked at us like he didn't believe us and he kept looking in the back seat at the children, who had stopped crying at this point because they were interested in who was talking to us. He asked if they needed water and we told him we had just given them some . He asked again so I thanked him and said that would be fine and that we appreciated it (even though we didn't really need it, just to make him happy). He then told me that he had written down the license plate on the car and not to leave, implying that he was going to call the police and report us if we left, just because we had a crying 2 year old throwing a tantrum because she didn't want to leave the park! I tried to keep things friendly and we sat there waiting for him to come back and he again kept asking us if everything was okay. Both children were in the backseat strapped into legal carseats, no one was reaching back and beating them or torturing them, the AC was on. I can't believe in a park that caters to children that they have never seen a meltdown before. I don't particularly think it was very good PR for them to threaten to report a customer just because they had a crying toddler. That turned an otherwise enjoyable afternoon into a rather nasty aftertaste. At best he could have handled it more tactfully. Do I recommend this place to others? Only if you have children that don't cry I guess. read more

The attendant said it was only for military and teachers. Online it clearly states this is a promotion for October but she refused to honor it. I am grossly disappointed and will NOT be going back. Love the bouncy pad, pumpkin patch, barrel rides, slides and corn maze. I've seen other pumpkin patch places that charge over $15 per person. Seriously? That's nuts if you have a large family. Everyone here was uber friendly and we all had a great time. The food you can get there is meh, but we didn't go for the food. We have been coming here for 3 years now for their fall festival, or as we call it, their pumpkin patch. It's a 40 minute drive but we'll worth it! It's one of the few farms where everything inside is included, besides the food and drinks. The staff is friendly and helpful! Parking can get crazy depending on the day/time you visit so keep that in mind. They have so much to do and you can easily spend 3 hours here! Make sure to pack lunches/food to eat at one of their many picnic tables available! Their only downfall is their restrooms. I feel like they should add another men and women restrooms OR add port-a-potties to keep the lines from getting long. You won't find a traditional pumpkin patch but they have pumpkins at the exit to pick and buy. But you can also go next door to the farmers market, their pumpkin prices are cheaper! And less crowded. I came here for their corn field maze. It was a great time! The maze is pretty complicated. It was way more complicated than I anticipated. It took us a good 1 and a half to get through it. We used the moon as a frame of reference in terms of our whereabouts and directions. I highly recommend this place for families. Not even their staff were wearing masks which I think is wrong because if you want to buy something, you have to interact with them. The lights were pretty but not amazing. Hard to see any animals at night, surprisingly. I would barely recommend it for the price. Good way to spend an hour or two and all the kids we saw seemed to be having a fun. We take COVID pretty seriously and picked the perfect time to go during Thanksgiving. You can see how many tickets they have sold for any given day when you are about to purchase them online. Last night we took the whole family out to see the light show. In the words of my 4 year old "this is incredible". It cost $48 for 4 adults and 2 children on Jan 3. So, if you find the before Christmas prices too much, just wait until after the new year and go. We were there a little over an hour! And, we didn't ice skate. However we did feed the goats, play on the playground, and play some pingpong. This is a fantastic way to spend time with your family to bring in the new year and they really do an amazing job. I want to address some of the negative reviews (as always). EVERYTHING is as good or as bad as YOU MAKE IT. Our general admission got us all the exact same thing. If you go excited to be there and enjoy the lights with your family, guess what will happen? If you go there to spend 20 minutes in a situation that isn't good enough for you, guess what will happen? Every experience is your experience to make the most of. So, go here and make the most of it with your kids! Especially if they are little! They'll LOVE IT! read more

For two adults and a 5 year old, it cost us $54 admission to the holiday lights. It cost additional $ for the snacks and ice skating too. It took us about 20 minutes to get through the lights, and that was with stopping and going. There was a ton of dirt in the air from the foot and vehicle traffic. I held my daughter's 4th birthday at Vertuccio Farms this weekend and it was wonderful. From start to finish the process was easy. The price was amazing. Everything was perfect. They said arrive 30 mins before to set up, so naturally I thought we better make sure to be there 30 mins early so we can cart in the food and balloons etc... the staff greeted us at our car and helped us carry everything to our area (50lb cooler included). They also helped us move everything to our car at the end. The activities were perfect. We had ages 1 to 8 at the party and every child had blast running from the bounce area to the slides, water feature, animal area and everything in between. There is nothing on the market that gives you more value for your kid birthday dollar than Vertuccio Farms. I highly recommend it. read more

Won't be back since we talked to a person there and she really didn't let us in. With the Peking lot emptying out you think they would be able to let some paying people in. read more
