This place is great, starting with Sola - the owner. Very friendly, accommodating, and great conversationist. She'll give you great tips on seeing what the town has to offer. Just as important: The goods here are great. I send gift baskets from here for holidays and to clients throughout the year. Very Virginia Shop is a Virginia gift shop. It looks a bit older and outdated, but it's really not that old. It's has been in its location for 17 years. We walked inside and were immediately greeted by an older lady. She asked where I'm visiting from, I told her Connecticut. She said "well, in Connecticut, you're known for Mystic Pizza. Here in Virginia we're known for our peanuts!" I never knew about Virginia peanuts. She handed me a few handfuls of different varieties of peanuts to sample. These peanuts are larger, drier, crunchier than others I've tried, and they have so many flavors. I don't mind peanuts, but they're not my favorite snack. In addition to the peanuts, they also sell the typical things one might find in a touristy gift shop. There's candles, magnets, tee shirts, and other items that say Virginia on them. I liked the outdated look of this little store. The lady working here was very friendly, if it weren't for her I would never know about the Virginia peanuts. read more

As a California girl who visits Virginia once or twice a year to visit family, I *ALWAYS* visit this store to stock up on street taco peanuts and dill pickle peanuts to bring back home. I've had coworkers gush about these yummy treats, and I always tell them they should fly out to VA to get their own and support a small business. The shopkeeper (owner?) is a very nice lady who hands out samples and chats with us as we shop, so we feel very welcome whenever we stop by. read more

What an awesome experience! Sola, the owner made our vacation so memorable for me. My husband called her a day before we were set to arrive for our babycation and she put together the most beautiful and thoughtful basket of Virginia items as well as a bonnet for our baby girl. She arranged to have it perfectly waiting in our room. She even printed out a special tag and attached it with a personal message from my husband! It literally brought tears to my eyes! My husband and I walked across the street and checked out her actual shop which was so cute and well put together. The perfect stop for something to let everyone know where you are visiting. There was the usual magnets and tees but then she also let us try a few flavors of the Virginia peanuts! They were a real winner and we brought back about 3 different cans as well as some special bbq sauce made local! Sola, was so personable and friendly! We will most definitely be back! read more

Here you will find books on Virginia, Virginia history, Virginia t-shirts and knick-knacks, University of Virginia and Virginia Tech accessories, and locally grown and produced foods - such as jams, jellies, sauces, as well as Virginia Peanuts. Found this gem on a hunt for something representative of Virginia, to bring home for friends in MA. Sola (owner) was very accommodating, even opening the shop after hours for us to come. I came thinking I would just buy apple butter, but after many different samples of Virginia peanuts, we left with both peanuts and apple butter. The peanuts (garlic flavor) were a huge hit with our friends. My only regret is that we didn't buy enough to have a tin for ourselves. Thank you, Sola! A little bit of Leesburg made it up to Boston, and people are raving! read more

This place was amazing! I called ahead to make sure they had what I was looking for and the owner was very polite! She even recommended their peanuts (which are amazing and in a huge variety) which tempted me even more to go. The woman working the shop was great and further recommended different places to visit while I'm here (I'm from Oregon and visiting for work) with a booklet of sites to see. The area they're located at is beautiful and reminded me of what I thought a Virginia town should look like. If you're a sauce fan, this is a great place to check out since everything is local and delicious. I wish my suitcase was bigger so that I can bring them all home. 17/10 would visit again. read more

Such a cute little gift shop in Old Town Leesburg. Check out the homemade signs, jams, honey, peanuts, art work, and other novelties made from local Virginia craftsmen. A great shop to take friends from out of town, and/or ship Va goods to Virginia natives. Check out the great restos within walking distance when you go. read more

This is a great little shop for taking out of state guests. My friends from Texas were very pleased with all the Virginia goods. One bought a colonial costume for her grandson!!! Everyone bought jams and jellies. Don't miss the chocolate dipped Virginia peanuts - very yummy. Tee shirts, maps, key chains, coffee mugs, shot glasses, etc. If you have visitors, this is a great place to take them to start their Leesburg shopping. Don't misunderstand me, this is not some junky souvenir shop. This is an adorable place with really nifty things made in Virginia. Take your guests and make sure you go back for the chocolate peanuts quite frequently - oh, you know you want to!!!! read more

If you want peanuts to snack on, go here! They also had teas, and other va foods, as well as lots of good Virginia merch like shirts, magnets, postcards, and ornaments. The lady behind the counter was very nice and friendly and recommended an antique store down the block for us. Ya know what I love? This is one of the few "souvenir" / touristy types of shops in Leesburg. Lots of local vendors are showcased here. I'll be back to pick up a Virginia ornament for my Christmas tree... and maybe grab a few for friends too. Zola is always so helpful, too. read more

My daughters go-to for fudge brownies. They can't get enough of it. Owner is very friendly and so informative in a lot of local current events and other businesses to check out. We always take out of town visitors here. read more

One of the best places in town to pick up Virginia souvenirs, and Leesburg mementos in particular. We bought some jalapeno peanuts as a gift (and look forward to sneaking some). The proprietress is very nice and welcoming. We took pictures with the stuffed bear outside. read more

The walking tour of historic Leesburg was very informative and a nice causal way to learn fun facts about the area. The shop owner is very friendly and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone new or passing though the area. read more

This is the first place we take visitors to Leesburg for Virginia made products. They have a great selection of souvenirs, including reproduction hats and historical items. Also, they have an unusual selection of greeting cards and gag gifts. Just bought a "Virginia is for Lovers" onesie and shot glass per a request, and some Virginia peanuts. read more

I was looking forward to getting a few souvenirs before going to the airport, but they did not open on time. They are only open 4 hours on Sundays (12-4) and I waited until 12:25 but no one came to unlock the door. Really disappointed that I had to go with non-local gift options. read more
