Thank you so much, Mike! We could not be more excited to try out our new boards this weekend. Incredible studio floor!!! I've never experienced a store so beautifully set for action water sports! An unexpected elevated shopping experience, accompanied by an even more exceptional and expert advice by the owner, Mike. We were first introduced to VESL boards at a friend's house a couple weeks ago. He has about 20 different boards because he entertains friends and family at the lake. The VESL boards immediately stand out, in my opinion, because they look like pieces of art. My guy located them here in OC, and right away, Mike was so patient with us, and all of our questions. He went over their website with all the various styles. I am still fairly new to paddle boarding and initially, couldn't decide between the inflatable or the standard boards. At that time, the only thing I debated was: which board do I buy, based on how and where it would be stored. Then, when we saw VESL, it was no longer a discussion- it has to be these boards, because not only do they seem to cosmetically perform better (from what I've seen and heard so far,) but they are, simply put, beautiful boards. Mike explained their boards would be in the following week. We order up two boards, and a week later, we got to pick them up today. Mike helped us load them up in the car, and ensured we had all the leads, fins, paddles and information on maintenance. Awesome help!! These boards are the easiest to carry, in my experience, compared to other boards I've tried. I'm only 5'1" and I can easily carry these down to my dock and several stairs. Yes, it's still a larger board than a surfboard, but it is so light in weight compared to even inflatables I've tried. I will not have any issues taking my board down to the lake on my own. We also purchased the clear protective tape/sticker ($40 /set for a board) per Mike's recommendations. He explained it protects the sides of our boards when our oars may hit the sides during paddling. All-around, phenomenal service! I highly recommend checking out this store if you're in the market for a standup paddle board. It's such a fun water sport that my family and I got into the last few years. Pretty disappointed thus far. Was told my order would arrive on Tuesday, it's now Thursday and I don't have an update on when it will arrive. Tracking page says it should reach the warehouse today for delivery tomorrow by 7:40pm, but it's already 8pm. Overall the tracking and shipping is terrible - it isn't on time and the tracking isn't accurate which is pretty important when it isn't on time. In addition, the customer service when you ask isn't very nice. I'd shop elsewhere. It's now Friday. Was told the shipment arrived at the warehouse and call to schedule an appointment. Called and the warehouse said it hasn't arrived. They don't get your order to you on time, then when you want follow up, YOU have to follow up. Then when you follow up on person says it's delivered, the other person says it isn't. read more

Everyone loves a good deal. I purchased a V3SL touring SUP last year. It was a good deal for the board, paddle, bag and straps. Had a good season on it. This year, I was only able to take the board out twice, due to unrelated injuries and surgery. After a long paddle to the R10 buoy, I was ready to pack the board in the bag when I noticed a crack on the fin box. Water was leaking from it for several minutes. I had not banged it up, nor dropped it. It goes from garage to the beach and back. I called V3SL / Paddlesurf Warehouse and told my problem with the board. He asked for a pic then said bring it down for an assessment. The next day, I brought it. He told me the damage was from impact. I told him I did not drop it or beach it or bang it on the rocks as he had said would damage a fin box. Initially, he told me he could have the fin box repaired, but that it could take a couple of weeks and the paint would not be matched. I asked for a loaner board to which he replied he had none. I told him I bought from his shop because he is a local business. I could've easily gone to an online retailer. I also told him that when a mountain bike frame is cracked, the frame is replaced, no questions asked. To which he reminded me we weren't referring to mountain bikes. I walked off to my truck. I prepared myself for this. I sat inside and returned a couple of texts. Then he says he has another 11' board, but an all arounder and asks if I'm interested. He takes it out of packaging then tells me it's a swap. New fins attached, placed in bag and placed on my truck. I thanked him for working with me. Prepped for the worst, hoped for the best. I hold people and businesses in high regard when they make things right. It's always great when everything goes well for a product or service. Sometimes, it's when things go wrong that you find out how good a person or business really is. Thank you, for keeping me a satisfied customer. Mike and Jeff are top notch. Mike swapped a brand new board bag for me instead of a paddle as I did not need the paddle. This is my 4th Sup Surf board and by far my favorite. Having a 32" rocker makes the board super stable and maneuverable! I was able to get the 9'4" due to this and it weighs only 20 lbs. Great inventory in the store as well to look at and again customer service was amazing; they put the protective tape on for me, put the fin set in, and Mike even loaded my new board for me on top of my car .... 10'6 performer purchased 2022. I had a serious problem with the board I purchased due to delamination after just one season. Actually I put a serious crack in the nose and had it fixed and my local shaper found the delam under the traction pad. He said not worth fixing so I was going to take a shot at doing the repair just to make the board last maybe one more year. First contact I had with shop about my new board person basically told me it got to hot on the beach. I started working on board and pulled off the traction pad and sent a video back to the shop of the delam. Jeff called me back we discussed it and he made things right . So this review is to correct my initial review under duress. Thanks Jeff good companies and honest people make things right . Replacement is on the way. I purchased a 11' SUP from this awesome small business last Friday. It was some what spontaneous as I have an old beat up soft top SUP & my friend shared she is friends of the owner of this shop and we went together & I met the owner & his in law/ partner. Both of them were awesome with all the touch and answers of questions i had. I have seen this brand name just about everywhere in the Newport Beach harbor and it's the only SUP brand name i recognize. I received white glove treatment from the owners & appreciated them without me asking throwing in for free Vesl board straps as i literally had 4 bungies and considerate owner didnt want me to risk board flying off SUV. The boards performance was awesome. I SUP the NB harbor often so I have many hours under my belt and my 1st day i went to Laguna. The board performed very well so buoyant and it glided through the water so much faster than the soft top board i had previously. Everything about this board i loved. It even looks like art which is a nice element as part of SUP is the serenity of outdoors, ocean, and rhythm of the paddling. I scored a royal flush as the visibility was epic, sun was out, glassy conditions, and i got the "awe factor" which you want with purchases. I had absolutely no buyers remorse and happy feel. The quality of this board for the cost was a super good deal. I paid more for 6 ft surfboard than i did for this gem. I am also grateful for the owner for teaching me the right way to strap the boards and encouraging me to the super feather lite paddle. At first i thought do i need a $150 paddle when I have an old one. 100% it made a difference. I guess the analogy is use ski's from 1999 and then try a pair in 2021. The difference was clear. I am happy i supported a small business, with a very high quality product, and see why they dominate the market share in my home city of Newport BEACH. I am a happy customer and highly recommend Vesl Paddle Boards located in Costa Mesa. I just bought two prone paddle boards from mike at Vesl and Paddle Surf warehouse. I am a family man looking for a couple boards to get my kids and wife into paddling with me without spending a lot of money. I am so happy I went with Vesl the boards. The boards are great quality paddle well and are very user friendly they are a perfect fit. I had been looking on Craig's list for months but all of the Bark and Surftech boards were double if not triple the price and rareIy available used unless I wanted an 18' board ( really who has a space to store that) Thanks Mike for making affordable boards that I can enjoy with my family and letting me pass on the love for paddling without spending and arm and a leg.
