They immediately offered to help, checked in the back for additional board options, and took the time to educate us on how to progress to the next board as our skills improve. They also explained how to properly care for and carry the board, which was incredibly helpful as beginners. They quickly installed the fins and leash for us and even helped make sure the board would fit in our car before we left. We will definitely be back when it's time to upgrade to our next board, and we may even return for a skateboard as well. In my opinion the Frog House is wonderful example of what makes this country so amazing! For over 60 years, this place has served the Newport Beach surf community. We have bought wet suits, surfboards, wetsuit and surfboards for our kids and I can't tell you how many times as a kid just popping in to get a couple bars of wax. This place is great. I'm just an old guy who stopped in to get a pair of swim fins. Both of the guys working were super helpful. I wish I got their names. I rented a 4/3 wetsuit from the these guy's when I came into town because the 3/2 that I brought was just a bit chilly. (It was January so of course lol). What a great experience! Everyone there is so chill and super accommodating. It rained one of the days and conditions weren't so great another day so some days of surf were missed while I had it. This place is amazing. Came in, really 0 idea what to get. The helpful fellow in the picture not only helped me steer in the right direction which beginner board to get my newbie surfer gal for Christmas but he also helped put the fins and set it up! Gave me lots of tips for her. She's only done lessons but when she gets better and needs another board this is where we'll be. The customer service in this place is top notch. Did I mention...
