    Buffalo wings
    Fabienne M.

Wanted an afterwork drink and bite and this place was right around the corner from work so I dived right in. Nice ambiance clean and organized. The server was very friendly and informative made me feel welcome. I had a classic margarita which was made well and refreshing. The Knicks game was on so I ordered some Buffalo wings the Buffalo sauce coating was very delicious, the wings were fried all too hard for me but it was ok nice presentation and the customer service was really good. Good music nice vibes I look forward to going back and trying the rest of the menu out it looks tasty.

Had a great dinner, I always enjoy the bartended Luis. Love the hospitality here! Chill ambiance with good music and lots of tv to watch the games! Can't go wrong with vessel!

Recently hosted a semi private event here for my birthday! From planning to the day of the event everything went well and the owner D is amazing to work with.

First off the place is a a nice cute spot. Good music. Nice decor. Great TVs everywhere. We were even thinking about having an after work gathering here. Our server Luis was very personable, took care of us he was amazing. If we come back for anything it will be for him!!!! Luis is the man. We waited a long time for our food about 45 min. There was only 4 people in the spot. My friend and me and another couple. It was 3 in the afternoon. We were starving no lunch or breakfast so we were ready to eat and good thing because otherwise I probably wouldn't have eaten anything. We ordered the shrimp fried rice. It was decent the flavor was ok. The shrimp was nice and plump. We ordered the jerk wings they were not hot more like room temperature and they were dry. I had a bite of one and left the rest. The fries that came with it were fine and is what I filled my stomach with for the most part. We ordered the Asian fusion shrimp that was cold! The food is lacking and I can't imagine what it would be like when there is a crowd in here. Overall disappointed and left hungry. I like to give places another chance but I'll definitely not come here on an empty stomach just in case. My friend said the drinks were good!

Came to check out the new chance 11 now known as the Vessel..
    Shantell S.

I know this place to be chance 11 but when you walked up on it, you can see that the new change is starting from outside of the building the nice blue iridescent sign that says Vessel is very inviting and it makes you wanna come in. So when my friend told me that they gave Chance11 a whole new make over including the name i was like get out of here so i had to pull up on him when he was DJing and yess low and behold the signature Red walls I'm so use to at Chance 11 are now blue walls with the sexiest Large V that's lit up on the wall accompanied with the signature 60" tvs on the wall still, they even updated the bathroom you can tell they took time into the design concept for how they wanted it to look !! Ok sooo when i use to come to Chance it was always cause i was invited to a friends bday or a event from a friends group event so i came for the music and the drinks which was good even back then the DJ played the good music and the bartenders severed the good drinks !! Ok soo Fast forward back to Present review of the Vessel Bar & Grill so when you enter like i said it's a whole new look very inviting and you hear the music playing so your body starts to move a lil ok so that's a good thing. now on to what i ordered i had 2 Rum Punches which was soo good and hit the spot and did the job!! .. so for my meal I ordered the lamb , I looked at the main menu and I didn't see any lamb on there but then when I was showed the taco Tuesday menu I saw that there was lamb on it so I ordered the lamb .. and I asked the waitress how's the lamb cause like I said chance 11 to me wasn't known for food!!!! she said it was good so I would like screw it I'm a try it.. so I got the lamb and let me tell you I took pictures of what is started like in the beginning what it looked like in the middle of eating it and what it looked like the end of it meal lol, it was a very good meal it was lamb chop with potatoes and asparagus, what I will say they can do for the meal to be a 10 out of 10 for me , if they gave more sauce for the lamb and didn't put the skins on the potatoes. If they fix those two lol things I'll definitely give this meal a 10/10 but for me it was a 7/10 for the meal but an overall review of the OLD Chance 11 and New Vessel i give a 4

I've spent hours sourcing the best cappuccino in the Carroll Gardens / Boerum Hill / Cobble Hill /…read morePark Slope neighborhoods. And this is it. I haven't tried them all, obviously -- too many coffee shops -- but what I have tried, and come back to, over and over, is the products of the amazing team at Posto. It's not just about the skillfully made drinks or the balance of flavors, the fresh, Italian-style coffee or the filled-to-order Italian donuts and Maritozzos (iykyk) -- it's the overall ambience. You come here to put down the screen and enjoy the moment. So often do we rush through our coffees, or even bring them to meetings, at the beck and call of the city's hustle. But at Posto the kind, talented, customer-first team asks you to slow down and escape all of that, to savor every sip of coffee in the classic Italian style. Walking in feels more like a poem than a cafe. Gone are the transactional, disingenuous "how are you's" and instead you get to discover all sorts of fun barista (and bar) creations, Tuscan products, and fresh pasta. The servers and owner are always read to provide a recommendation, and like in Italian cafes, they bring whatever treats and drinks you land on to you. (My favorite aperol spritz is also from Posto.) Outside, the peaceful garden hosts two large umbrellas. It's vibrant, as if you're in a neighbor's backyard and they are willing to share a colorful moment with you, birds chirping overhead. As I finished the last drop of my cappuccino this morning, I realized that forty-five minutes had passed, and every sip of coffee was just as good as the last. Thank you!

The things I usually look for in a coffee shop: a friendly neighborhood vibe, a nice place to work,…read morea stellar brew, and perhaps a delectable snack to go with it. I don't feel like Un Posto hits the nail on the head for any of these. The menu is incredibly confusing--one part is on a chalk board, another is written under the countertop, another two are printed out next to the register and they all say different things without explanations of what any of the drinks even are. I spent at least 10 minutes letting other folks in front of me at the counter because I was paralyzed by choices I didn't understand, luckily the baristas were able to provide clarity on some of them. They have cocktails, coffee cocktails, coffee drinks, and several food menus. We came hungry, only to see the sandwich menu taken away because they were out (this was at 3 pm, and they close at 7). This is such a New York thing, but if you're selling cocktails and groceries until the evening, running out of mortadella sandwiches is not the same as when Radio Bakery sells out by noon... Maybe it's me but I'm not particularly looking to get a plate of prosciutt and burrata with my coffee (which is what they had left), and the sandwiches here are supposed to be amazing and were the main reason why we chose this place. We had come here to co-work, but saw that there were no laptops allowed, not even in a specific window, just period. I take issue with this because for some of us, coffee shops are vital spaces not to get sucked into the void of our screens but to write, share ideas, and work in the company of our support system. The coffee I got was an Italian iced coffee with no milk and almond syrup, pretty good but a smallish portion. My friend's latte was white, and tasted like foamy milk with just a hint of espresso... very odd. Usually that cool pretentious European vibe results in delicious food and drink, so I expected to be blown away, but it was just okay. Some of the higher-up staff are quite snippy, doesn't seem like the kind of place where if you're a regular people know your name and want to chat. The accusatory sign in the bathroom really says it all. The best part of this place is the gorgeous back patio, but it's harder to enjoy it when you've walked into a place that already makes you feel like you don't belong there, implying you're a toilet-clogging laptop addict who doesn't know any coffee lingo. I could see stopping in to pick up some fresh pasta and grabbing a cappuccino to go, but what's the fun in that?

However, for their extensive selection of quality Italian pasta, you're going to want to cook it first. Maybe pair it with the olive oil, artichokes, tuna, dressings, sauces, mustards, broths, etc. A special bonus is the adorable array of kitchen tools that look like pasta. Like the conchiglie lemon squeezer, penne pan holder, and the mafaldine kitchen ties. This review may be spoiling someone's gift coming up, but such is life. All that aside, I'd still come in if it was a panini counter and nothing more. There is an extensive menu of options that I am only starting to make my way through. My first choice was the Parma, which is a generous amount of homemade pork shoulder, fresh tomato, truffle pecorino cheese cream, and a little drizzle of truffle oil as well. It was hot, it was rich, it was delicious. It came recommended by the lovely woman behind the counter, who was very sweet, if not very talkative. There's even a backyard and seating area if you don't want to take it home. If I had any criticism for Tavola, it's minor: I would like some acid on that sandwich to cut the richness (some pickled red onions would go a long way), and I would like everything in the market to be about 20% less expensive, because I want it all and I could really only afford a sandwich and some very nice pasta that I'm excited to make.
