have seen this coffee shop all over tiktok so I figured I would come give it a try. I came during the week and it was packed with people working from home. I ordered a strawberry and cream latte which was a February special. It came with strawberry cold foam which was delicious. I was able to taste the espresso and the strawberry flavor really well. I also decided to order their steak and cheese sandwich which came with potato chips. This was high quality coffee shop food. Nothing was frozen and you can tell it was made fresh. I also want to add that their prices are very good compared to other coffee shops. My large specialty coffee was $7.50. Most places charge close to $10 for that. Definitely add Vester to your list for great quality coffee, fresh food and affordable prices.

    Autumn salad & matcha latte

I came here for a lunch meeting and I was quite happy with the size and amount of seating available. The layout creates almost two "rooms" with some seating near the cashiers, more in the back, and some space outdoors as well. It's café-style where you order at the registers up front, but food is brought to your table and you bus it yourself when you're done. I had the autumn salad, which was quite tasty. I prefer the sweet potatoes at other similar cafés (like Sweetgreen and Flour) more, but it wasn't bad. I would've loved a little more salad dressing, but overall was quite happy with it! On the other hand, the matcha latte was a little weak for my taste. Despite being a popular order, it didn't have much matcha flavor and felt a little watery, so I wouldn't get that again. The iced coffees did come in a cute branded can, which felt trendy.

Came for grab a Hong Kong milk tea to go for a quick caffeine pick-me-up. The milk tea was a bit weak and diluted for my taste but I appreciate that the amount of simple syrup can be adjusted to your liking. I ended up getting it half sweet which was perfect for my taste. The space is cute and service is really friendly. I can definitely see this being a nice spot to sit for a while and catch up with friends over coffee!

I LOVE this spot!! It's such a vibe, honestly and their menu is packed with unique and yummy offerings. Plus, they're usually pretty quick even when it's busy. I tried their Strawberry Matcha Cloud and it's amazing!! It reminds me a lot of Greystone's matcha with almond strawberry syrup. The sweet strawberry flavor melds so well with the high quality matcha taste still coming through. Definitely one of my favorite cafes in the city!

Such a cute coffee shop!! Every drink I tried was absolutely delicious and perfect. They have some beautiful unique options as well. Also tried some of the pastries and granola bites- yummy and fresh. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend!

This is such a gem of a cafe!!! Wow!!! Definitely my new favorite in the Boston/Cambridge area. I got an iced latte with coco-ube syrup, it was some of the tastiest iced coffee I have ever had. Ube is such a unique flavor and it compliments coffee very well. I would describe it as sweet potatoey, vanilla-y, and earthy. My friend got an iced cookie butter matcha, and while the cookie butter wasn't super strong of a flavor, the matcha itself was very good. For food, we ordered their signature avocado toast and the buttermilk chicken avocado wrap with homemade chips. The avocado toast was the best avocado toast I have ever had - completely out of this world! The lemon juice and zest made such a difference, and the cilantro and black salt were a great addition. The wrap was pretty good as well, I expected the buttermilk chicken to be crispy, but it was grilled well and the homemade ranch was very tasty. The homemade chips were awesome too. I will definitely be back here, such a yummy cafe!!!

The seatings are spacious and comfortable, and that's the major reason that I go there. However, the drinks I had were disappointing - the matcha latte did not have a prominent matcha taste, and the lavender latte tasted like a pungent scented liquid soap The menu on the wall does not have prices. After I paid for the latte and saw the total price ($7), I asked the barista softly and respectfully "btw was there an extra charge for the oat milk" and she got really offended and impatient. I didn't mean to offend anyone and I just wanted to have clarification since the price was not marked. And to be respectful, I even asked after I paid. This place has best seating compared to other coffee shops in this region, but I didn't like the coffee and I had an awkward and somewhat incorrect experience

I found out about Vester from looking up places to do work and it really stood out to me! They not only have a great selection of drinks especially different types of matcha (the Ube and pistachio ones are so fun and flavorful), but also a wide range of food! I got their prosciutto mozzarella sandwich which was pretty good but the bread was a little dry. Not bad though! The interior is beautiful and I love that there's so many places to sit. Something to note, though, is that there's not a ton of outlets and you may have to move around a little but definitely doable!

    Spiced Chai Latte (with oat)

Food: Turkey goddess sandwich was solid, good portion too! Iced spiced chai was ok ish but I was just craving an iced drink. Service: Food was really fast. Ambiance: In a very modern area of town. Tables could've been wiped down for sure, but the bathrooms were pretty clean.

Very very very good iced salted caramel latte but I would skip the avocado toast. Everything else food wise is delicious the avocado toast is just probably the worst I've ever had. BUT this place is amaze and yummy besides that!!

    Camo Matcha
    Nikki Y.

Camo matcha is super good!! I also got the strawberry cream cloud, but there wasn't much strawberry taste at all. Food and drinks can take a while to come out, so plan accordingly or order online! Lots of seatings available, but can fill up quickly during lunch hours (11-1).

    Alice Z.

Convenient cafe in Kendall square with rotating seasonal menus! They have great service and punch cards for regulars. All the drinks are solid, but my favorites are the black sesame latte and the camo latte which has espresso, matcha, and white chocolate ganache!! Plenty of seating inside too to do work or sit and eat food.

    Woo K.

Cafe is cute. Store closed super early. Told us food wasn't available. Coffee only available. Flat white and a Madagascar latte. Both were ok. Flat white wasn't strong enough. Latte had a stronger milk flavor than anything. Espresso was a bit weak.

Great addition to Kendall. Coffee is smooth and the revival (1/2 cold brew 1/2 coconut water) is the bomb.

I came here 4 times when in town for a conference, as this way super conveniently located to the conference center (Menino). It's open 7am-10pm daily, is always seemingly busy but always very efficient and fast to deliver orders, and has a huge amount of comfortable seating. First visit: I tried the vegan breakfast burrito ($12), a nicely designed burrito with tofu, potato, spinach, roasted red peppers, vegan cheese, and mushrooms, served with salsa on the side. Very solid burrito. The Spanish burrito I tried another day--which came with vegan meatballs of some sort--was even better. Second visit: I got an açai bowl ($9 for the small size; $12 for regular), and added vegan protein powder ($2) blended in. It came with açai blended with almond milk, banana, strawberries, blueberries, and granola. Real good and plentiful even for the small size. Third visit: just ordered a bagel with vegan cream cheese that had tomato in it, and added some spinach on top ($5.50 total). Very generous spinach portion (for $0.50!), well-toasted bagel, and an appropriate amount of cream cheese. Very tasty. Moreover, each time I visited, I ordered a double espresso ($3.50), which was excellent. Proper espresso, deep body, strong, served with sparkling water and a piece of dark chocolate.

The Platters, both the breakfast and mezze are gorgeous. Pictures attached. The interior has ample seating and is bright and beautiful. There's tables with chairs, a bar seating to the back and the wall steps. I noticed someone ahead of me in the line brought her own reusable tumbler and I like that the cafe supports sustainability in that way. I didn't see whether they made her drink order in the tumbler or they made it first then poured it into her tumbler. Anyway, good to know if you like to reduce waste.

We weren't sure how to enter, so we started in the bookstore and found their convenient elevator downstairs! The restaurant is tiny but cozy, which is the perfect atmosphere for a book store! We sat outside in the little courtyard and it's a mix of magical and relaxing! There were only a few tables, so it wasn't overcrowded and with nice weather, it was perfect.
