He keeps the class sizes small and is efficient with time management as well as being incredibly knowledgeable with answering all the questions asked. They are patient and really go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and that you understand safety and what you're doing and make everything really easy. When you get there you complete your registration and rent a lane. Then you can either use your own firearm, eye and ear protection, and ammunition or you can rent or purchase everything. You can rent handguns and various semi-auto rifles for a flat rate plus ammunition, or you can rent automatics or belt fed machine guns by buying magazines or belts, no flat rental rate required. It can all add up pretty quickly but overall the rates and prices are reasonable. I had a great time, my favorite was firing the Thompson submachine gun on full auto, and will definitely be back for the M1!

My only negative, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5, is that Jeff (owner) is very busy and sometimes it's hard to schedule times when he's actually going to be in the store. He teaches the classes, conducts the range sessions, provides security for some businesses etc. all in addition to running the store. So I understand why he's so difficult to schedule, but I have to drive 35 miles to get there so dropping by is not an option for me.
