Another Review months later. . . Everyone here is really great! We were referred here recently…read moreafter our dog was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Most groomers do not want to risk grooming a dog who could possibly have a seizure at any moment, but not Lovet. They accept pets with medical conditions and our staffed to handle medical issues should one happen. Our groomer is Ashely. She is amazing and gives Nascar-Nascie tons of love and compassion.

I was a loyal customer at Goodyear Animal Hospital for over 10 years. Unfortunately, since Lovet…read moretook over, my experience has steadily declined. About a year ago, my dog tore her ACL (I believe it's called a CCL in dogs). We were referred to the Glendale location for surgery. While preparing for the procedure, they mentioned she was coming up on her rabies vaccine. She had always been on the 3-year rabies schedule and was around 8 years old at the time. They offered to administer the vaccine during surgery, and given that my focus was on getting her through the operation, I agreed without hesitation. Fast forward to now, I received an email stating her rabies vaccine was due. That didn't make sense since she has consistently been on the 3-year vaccine. When I stopped by to pick up Zoee's medication, the front desk staff acknowledged it appeared to be the same dosage and said they would message the vet to see if the record could simply be corrected to reflect the 3-year vaccine. Less than an hour later, a vet tech called and told me Zoee would need to come in for another rabies shot regardless. I explained the situation, but was told it didn't matter. After going back and forth, I said I would bring her in, but I did not feel I should have to pay an exam fee for what appears to be a documentation error on their end. I even asked for a veterinarian to call me directly to discuss it, but no one ever did. It's disappointing after being a customer for over a decade to feel like concerns are dismissed and that the focus is more on fees than accountability or communication. Based on my recent experiences, I would encourage others to carefully consider their options before bringing their pets here.

We unfortunately had to lay our 14 year old Jax to rest and the team at Blue Pearl were great to us. The team is educated, sympathetic yet honest and patient. We will continue to bring pets here. Thank you BluePearl for behind a guiding hand in our families rough decisions and journey.

Absolute horrible experience…read more We brought our very sick 15-year-old Yorkie in Friday night around 1:00 a.m. When we arrived, they took him to the back and told us they'd update us. After waiting about an hour, we were told he was on oxygen to help him breathe and that the vet would be with us shortly. Another 30 minutes later, the vet came in and asked the same questions we had already answered on the intake form and with the vet tech. The vet then told us they "didn't know what was wrong," but they could keep him for 24 hours and run tests that may or may not help. We were quoted $4,900. We asked about euthanasia because it was clear to us he was actively dying and suffering. Instead of guidance or compassion, the entire interaction felt focused on expensive testing rather than our dog's comfort and welfare. Regardless they charged us $200 for the visit, $200 to administer $100 worth of medication and oxygen. What a rip off! We took him home and went to our regular vet first thing in the morning. They immediately assessed him and told us the kindest thing was to keep him comfortable because he was in pain and suffering. He was humanely euthanized about 10 minutes later. I would never bring an animal here again. The lack of empathy, poor communication, and the push toward a very costly "maybe" plan in a crisis was unacceptable. When families are saying goodbye, compassion should come first. Do better.
