Dr Norman and staff are caring and professional. My Cairn Terrier Killian had battled eye issues his whole life. He would get non healing ulcers. Because of his chronic dry eyes. We opted for surgery and it's been smooth sailing for the most part. He's had a few injuries due to his rough housing he is 13yo and still acts like he did at 6 months. With out a doubt do not hesitate to come here. We travel from California just to come here.

If you are a struggling fur parent looking for help in the Eye department, Dr. Norman is the best! Last year I brought my dog in for severe KCS or dry eye and everything has improved! I had previously gone to an Eye Care for Animals clinic in Phoenix working with Dr. Barrett and he stated that my dog will be blind because the medications were not working. Dr. Norman suggested other evidence based medications that I had not tried before. Not even a week went by and my girl's eyes had improved tremendously. Thanks to Dr. Norman, my girl has her vision, no pain, and is very comfortable. She loves our pets and really tries every method possible to get it right! Thanks Dr. Norman! We love you!

Awesome place. They took care of Chito for me. The receptionist Dee booked the appointment and made us feel welcome. Dr Norman is a great doctor. She checked Chito and prescribed him medication. He had an ulcer in his right eye. Luckily for us, no surgery was required. Chito is doing well and we will be seeing her annually. They also take CareCredit. Thanks Dr. Norman.

This is my little pup with those awful, blinding cataracts! :'(

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Dr. Norman is a wonderful doctor and she gave my beautiful little Maltese back his sight! My pup is diabetic and almost overnight, he developed cataracts which rendered him completely blind within 3 days. I was devastated! My 6 years young pup was not handling it well at all and he was very depressed and scared, not to mention his blood glucose started becoming abnormally elevated due to the stress of suddenly going blind. I had heard about diabetic dogs developing cataracts and going blind but I never thought it would happen to my baby. I took him in for an appointment with his vet and they told me all hope was not lost...........dogs who go blind due to diabetic cataracts are often candidates for cataract removal that will restore vision! I was so happy and relieved to hear this. Our vet referred us to Dr. Norman and raved about her and how she had given many of their diabetic pups their sight back. We made the appointment for Nov. 16th, just 7 days after my pup went completely blind. That day we met with Dr. Norman and she was so friendly and warm, she explained everything in great detail and was very compassionate. She has the best bedside manner of any doctor, human or animal, that I have ever met. After our initial consultation, we expressed to Dr. Norman that we wanted our pup to have the cataract surgery as quickly as possible and that we were ready to move forward with whatever needed to be done next. To our surprise, that same visit, she performed all the necessary pre-op tests to determine if he was a good candidate for the surgery and let us know that he was going to be a good candidate! We were thrilled and wanted to do the surgery that day too, lol, but of course, that was not possible as some prep work needed to be done on our end before surgery could take place....he would need 4 days of a pre-op eye drop before surgery and the following week was Thanksgiving so we scheduled surgery for Nov. 30th and left her office feeling elated and a bit scared because surgery is surgery, and our pup is diabetic, so that puts him at a little more risk than a non-diabetic dog. Overall, we knew we had made the right decision and started counting down the days. The day of surgery we dropped our precious little bundle off around 7:30 a.m. and left him in their capable hands. We were to return home and wait for then to call with an update after the surgery, around 2 o'clock. My phone rang around 12:30 p.m. and I saw on the caller ID that it was Dr. Norman and I immediately begin to panic......I thought, "She said around 2 o'clock, it is only 12:30, something must be wrong!" (This is what it is like living with anxiety! LOL) Dr. Norman was calling to let me know they finished early and my little lamb was doing wonderfully and would be ready to go home around 3 o'clock. I was so happy, I hung the phone up and cried, and thanked God for allowing me the means to get this surgery to restore my pup's eyesight. What a fantastic gift to give.....the gift of sight. We brought our baby home that afternoon with his cute little cone on around his head to keep him from touching his eyes. He walked like a bobblehead with it on, which just made him more adorable, only now he was no longer walking into doors and walls, he was able to see everything again! I cannot thank Dr. Norman and her staff enough! Dr. Norman is top-notch all the way and what makes her practice even more wonderful is her outstanding, caring staff! From the friendly receptionist who makes you feel like family, to the incredible techs who assist Dr. Norman, everyone just made us feel like we were family and like our pup was their own. The photos I've posted are before and after, as you can see in the photos, he had silverish white cataracts covering both eyes and now his eyes are bright and clear. If you are looking for an eye doctor for your animal, I highly recommend Dr. Norman. She is the best you will find, hands down. Thank you Dr. Norman for giving my baby back his sight!

Nice clean exam room. Clean, modern, very warm feeling.

We've completed the full recovery process from Honey's original visit back in December (eye damage and emergency graph). She has come through beautifully. The staff and doctor at this office are wonderful. Prices are reasonable for what you get. No outrageous markups on prescriptions, etc. Very ethical vet. Doctor Norman deserves her 5 star rating. The office is very clean and beautifully decorated. Complimentary coffee in the lobby. You won't find a better animal eye doctor anywhere. We're taking our 15 year old cat there next for possible cataract surgery in the near future -- something they do regularly there. I have chatted with other pet parents in the waiting area and I have heard a lot of success stories with their pets' cataract surgeries. Wow. Final note: They are busy, so schedule an appointment early!! To their credit, we were able to get an emergency appointment, so if it's an emergency and/or if your pet's eye is damaged or had an accident, let the receptionist know to get in ASAP. Otherwise, for the subsequent follow-ups (non emergency appointments), we had to wait a few weeks to get in.

I just want to give a huge thank you to the entire team for going above and beyond for my baby…read moreAkira! I can't thank them enough for prioritizing her health and our feelings as pet parents. It was a rough week battling parvovirus, but we took things day by day with their detailed instructions. She is now back to her silly and vibrant self. Like any first time dog parent, I didn't have pet insurance or the guidance to know what to do in such a scary moment. Time was crunching and my baby Akira needed care ASAP. AZPetVet understood the urgency of my puppy's needs and got her in immediately. At this point I had called about 8 vets and was about to drive 5 hours up north to see a vet on the reservation. Each place I called understood the urgency but wasn't able to accommodate us. AZPetVet immediately conquered all as they were able to set up a payment plan through a third party company which allows us to make interest-fee payments every month. You do have to put down 20% the day of the visit, but it's much better than paying in full. I also appreciated how AZPetVet routinely called us to make sure Akira was doing well and answered any questions I had. Thanks to AZPetVet, I got to celebrate Akira's first birthday (despite her being sick) and now we get furr-ever with her! Thank you AZPetVet for all you do!!!

I was a loyal customer at Goodyear Animal Hospital for over 10 years. Unfortunately, since Lovet…read moretook over, my experience has steadily declined. About a year ago, my dog tore her ACL (I believe it's called a CCL in dogs). We were referred to the Glendale location for surgery. While preparing for the procedure, they mentioned she was coming up on her rabies vaccine. She had always been on the 3-year rabies schedule and was around 8 years old at the time. They offered to administer the vaccine during surgery, and given that my focus was on getting her through the operation, I agreed without hesitation. Fast forward to now, I received an email stating her rabies vaccine was due. That didn't make sense since she has consistently been on the 3-year vaccine. When I stopped by to pick up Zoee's medication, the front desk staff acknowledged it appeared to be the same dosage and said they would message the vet to see if the record could simply be corrected to reflect the 3-year vaccine. Less than an hour later, a vet tech called and told me Zoee would need to come in for another rabies shot regardless. I explained the situation, but was told it didn't matter. After going back and forth, I said I would bring her in, but I did not feel I should have to pay an exam fee for what appears to be a documentation error on their end. I even asked for a veterinarian to call me directly to discuss it, but no one ever did. It's disappointing after being a customer for over a decade to feel like concerns are dismissed and that the focus is more on fees than accountability or communication. Based on my recent experiences, I would encourage others to carefully consider their options before bringing their pets here.

Absolute horrible experience…read more We brought our very sick 15-year-old Yorkie in Friday night around 1:00 a.m. When we arrived, they took him to the back and told us they'd update us. After waiting about an hour, we were told he was on oxygen to help him breathe and that the vet would be with us shortly. Another 30 minutes later, the vet came in and asked the same questions we had already answered on the intake form and with the vet tech. The vet then told us they "didn't know what was wrong," but they could keep him for 24 hours and run tests that may or may not help. We were quoted $4,900. We asked about euthanasia because it was clear to us he was actively dying and suffering. Instead of guidance or compassion, the entire interaction felt focused on expensive testing rather than our dog's comfort and welfare. Regardless they charged us $200 for the visit, $200 to administer $100 worth of medication and oxygen. What a rip off! We took him home and went to our regular vet first thing in the morning. They immediately assessed him and told us the kindest thing was to keep him comfortable because he was in pain and suffering. He was humanely euthanized about 10 minutes later. I would never bring an animal here again. The lack of empathy, poor communication, and the push toward a very costly "maybe" plan in a crisis was unacceptable. When families are saying goodbye, compassion should come first. Do better.

I'm beyond aggravated b/c they are not patient-centered here. Probably okay if you are just doing annual exams or vaccines but if you have an animal who needs ongoing, comprehensive care you'll need to take out a second mortgage to get quality care here. I do not recommend because they saw my dog for a full appointment, complete with full blood panel, then, two weeks later demanded my dog be seen for another full appointment before prescribing pain treatment for him. After recently moving our dog over, I couldn't be happier with the care, honesty, and genuine compassion this team shows. The staff is incredible, never once have they tried to upsell treatments or medications. They only recommend what's truly needed, and that kind of integrity is rare. A beautiful example of their heart, we adopted two sweet cats that were born there because their mom was rescued as a stray, completely free, because they just wanted to see them in a loving home. Now, all five of our animals will be coming here for their care. The clinic itself is clean, well-organized, and respectful. One small but deeply meaningful touch they light a candle whenever a pet is crossing the rainbow bridge, honoring them with such tenderness. This place goes above and beyond. We're beyond grateful to have found them.
