Then, off to get weighed and back to the room. It's very clean too. The vet, Dr. Steinberg was amazing! He took his time with my little girl and made sure that I understood next steps and reassured me that I could call anytime with questions. Jasmine and Michelle and wonderful too! I left a voicemail with my name, information and had little hope that I'd receive a call back at all. Lo and behold, less than an hour later the office called me back and encouraged me to come in, they'd squeeze me in between appointments. I was so grateful that my pupper would be seen! We hurried over and he was taken back, assessed and the vet (Dr. Schmidt) came out to explain his initial thoughts, treatment plan and anticipated costs before proceeding. I was prepared to simply be handed a bill after the visit, so I thought the fact that he provided a detailed estimate was really fantastic. I agreed to all (and was fully expecting to be asked to pay much more than the quote). The front desk staff (Diana, sp?), the vet techs, everyone was as kind and helpful as can be to us. I wish I remembered everyone's name for appropriate kudos. What started as a stressful and scary day ultimately turned into such a wonderful reminder that there are still people, and businesses, who truly will go out of their way for a stranger (or strange dog, ha!). My fuzzy son is terrified of everyone... he gets anxiety just seeing a stranger, let alone having one poke and prod at him. Dr. Jennifer Levitsky gave us an hour for our first visit and took her time getting to know my pooch before she even touched him. By the end of the visit he was more comfortable and probably the least frightened/tense that I've ever seen him at the vet. The office is amazing. It's beautiful and was designed with the client in mind! From the non slip floors to the homey feeling examination rooms (complete with dog beds and toys) it was an awesome environment. Dr. Levitsky not only answered all of my questions and concerns and did it in a way that I felt she was educating me, not lecturing me! It made a sad time a little easier to deal with. An additional note: Alabaster picked the practice. I had taken him to three vets since moving to Pasadena. When we went to Alexander Animal Hospital, he came out of his carrier and started exploring the exam room. The technician said that the room was only used for cats which is probably why Alabaster seemed comfortable there.

My dog is my baby and since he depends on me, I am very particular about his care. Whether it's routine health checks, medical concerns, surgery or follow-ups, they are kind, efficient, clean, thoughtful and thourough. Everyone in the office has a great "bed-side manner" and always knows my dog by name when we come in. Dr. Gendi is prioritizes my dogs needs and is very good about explaining everything going on. He also doesn't over prescribe or try to push procedures on me that are not necessary like I've had other vets try to do. One of the vet-techs told me that Dr. Gendi just took over the hospital. You can experience how much care and consideration they put into theit client experience. They always get us in quickly, offer refreshments for people and dogs in the waiting room, and without fail, they call the next day for a follow-up wellness check. My dog is very old for her breed and her skin has been deteriorating for some time and this vet was only interested in me buying treatment for symptoms like itch and not the underlying chronic condition. Also all the meds and treatments are very expensive, if you ask for prescription for alternative brand medications, they will not help you and you have to research on your own. Altogether very unhappy with service, stay away.

Our experience from the beginning to end was nothing less than EXCELLENT! We got fast and same day appt, immediately when we walked in, we were greeted with such warm and loving energy; which we all needed because of the shock of the trauma. Even the customers waiting in the lobby were so sweet to our Brady and family! They got us back to see Brady's nurse almost immediately, the nurse was so kind and loving, and once the nurse walked out, Dr. Leigh came right in afterwards to give him the best care. Before we left we got 2 medications for our Brady and the nurse made it so easy for us by cutting up the meds into smaller sizes, then the doctor provided a can of dog food to mix the meds in with, and it worked like a charm! Our top priority was making sure our Brady gets the best care possible but I would be lying if I didn't tell you that I was not worried about the cost of his visit. But Arnold Vet made it affordable to care for our dog and they did not "up charge" us like other vet offices would have. I can't recommend this vet office enough!
