Then, off to get weighed and back to the room. It's very clean too. The vet, Dr. Steinberg was amazing! He took his time with my little girl and made sure that I understood next steps and reassured me that I could call anytime with questions. Jasmine and Michelle and wonderful too! I'm so happy the doctor came up with that suggestion. It warmed my heart knowing turbo fell asleep with the one blanket he loves. He slept with it every night ! My dog is very old for her breed and her skin has been deteriorating for some time and this vet was only interested in me buying treatment for symptoms like itch and not the underlying chronic condition. Also all the meds and treatments are very expensive, if you ask for prescription for alternative brand medications, they will not help you and you have to research on your own. Altogether very unhappy with service, stay away.

My fuzzy son is terrified of everyone... he gets anxiety just seeing a stranger, let alone having one poke and prod at him. Dr. Jennifer Levitsky gave us an hour for our first visit and took her time getting to know my pooch before she even touched him. By the end of the visit he was more comfortable and probably the least frightened/tense that I've ever seen him at the vet. The office is amazing. It's beautiful and was designed with the client in mind! From the non slip floors to the homey feeling examination rooms (complete with dog beds and toys) it was an awesome environment. Dr. Levitsky not only answered all of my questions and concerns and did it in a way that I felt she was educating me, not lecturing me! I have always hated when vets say "you're doing that wrong" without much information of why. Dr. L answered all my Whys without even having to ask. I left a voicemail with my name, information and had little hope that I'd receive a call back at all. Lo and behold, less than an hour later the office called me back and encouraged me to come in, they'd squeeze me in between appointments. I was so grateful that my pupper would be seen! We hurried over and he was taken back, assessed and the vet (Dr. Schmidt) came out to explain his initial thoughts, treatment plan and anticipated costs before proceeding. I was prepared to simply be handed a bill after the visit, so I thought the fact that he provided a detailed estimate was really fantastic. I agreed to all (and was fully expecting to be asked to pay much more than the quote). The front desk staff (Diana, sp?), the vet techs, everyone was as kind and helpful as can be to us. I wish I remembered everyone's name for appropriate kudos. What started as a stressful and scary day ultimately turned into such a wonderful reminder that there are still people, and businesses, who truly will go out of their way for a stranger (or strange dog, ha!). The technician said that the room was only used for cats which is probably why Alabaster seemed comfortable there.

The cost of her initial visit which includes her 2nd dose of vaccinations was $140 with the New Client discount that they were offering. He said the routine physical was extremely thorough and Dr. Brown gave her vaccination without her noticing... so awesome! Shout out to the cheesy lick mat too! They were also kind enough to give us her flea & tick medication as a chewable, first one free - courtesy of the clinic They gave great & insightful recommendations to her feeding regimen as we had questions about starting Raw Diet, well as general hygiene with product recommendations that were pocket-friendly too. They said another puppy just came in with salmonella from Raw Diet so advised us to keep the kibble with some added supplements for the extra nutrition.. great idea! We needed the x-rays before we could schedule a surgery for our dog or even a consultation. We needed to follow up numerous times to receive all x-ray images. We understand that technical issues may arise and impact their ability to send all issues in one message. I had advised MISSY on my previous call that we were only receiving one at a time and would give her a call back if we had an outstanding photo. However, when we called to ensure we had all images MISSY responded with a rude condescending tone advising that she had sent them three times. MISSY was not kind, sympathetic or understanding that we were trying to have our dog receive the care she needed in a prompt manner. I told MISSY again we did not receive them and only received 2 of the 3. I asked MISSY not to be abrasive with me because I was just trying to obtain the images to send to the surgeon vet so a consult can be scheduled. MISSY agreed to send them again and hung up the phone. This call left me in tears as I was just trying to get the x-ray images to schedule my dogs surgery.
