I am surprised by all of the negative reviews. They have been cleaning my pellet stove annually for six years since I bought this house. They also did some service on the stove. This spring, they did some work on my chimney and fireplace, which have been in disrepair since I bought the home. Our gas fireplace was not lighting so I scheduled them for a service/repair visit. Mike arrived and looked at the fireplace and told us he would have to check with someone from the gas company and would get back to us. After a couple of weeks with no follow up I called back. I was told he was out of the office but would return my call. After several more calls from me with no response, I hired another local company who responded and fixed it quickly and for a reasonable price. read more

Came on 10/14/22 as I wanted a pellet stove insert with chimney cleaning as well as free standing pellet stove on the other side of the house. Had no idea about cleaning and asked which girl I spoke with and made some comment about her. He measured fireplace and we looked at where the free standing would go, said he'd get me a quote. We needed a new rheostat for our Jotul stove. I contacted this company and they said they could replace it for us. Two technicians came out to my home thinking they were there to service my chimney; they had no knowledge of the rheostat issue. After a brief visit that involved them taking some pictures, I receive a $175 invoice, but with no further contact from them. I placed several phone calls that either involved excuses or were unreturned. After 5 weeks, I was finally told that they did not perform the service I was requesting, and they referred me to a different company. So, after five weeks, 175 plus dollars (as my husband had tipped both technicians) and a lot of frustration, I was back where I started. It certainly left me wondering why they did not just inform me in the beginning that this was a job they did not perform. Poor communication and poor customer service. read more

These people are crooks.....They charged me $150 for the 5 minute site visit where they didn't even put a ladder up to look at the chimney, then never sent me the proposal. I requested my money back several times after not hearing back from them for 4 weeks and never got it back. Terrible customer service and not professional. I then got another contractor who actually climbed up to investigate the chimney the right way and got the proper measurements.......Do not use this contractor....... read more

I purchased an electric heater, which was a floor model hanging on the wall in his showroom, and paid $200 with a balance for $200. I returned the heater as it was not efficient to heat the area needed. The owner Mike, argued with me for 10 minutes on the phone. He said he does not have a return policy, and asked me numerous times why I returned the heater. I walked into the store to refund my $200 deposit, he again gave me a 10 minute argument as to why he shouldnt return my money, then stated, he would think about it over the weekend and quote" I don't want to see your face again". He sent me a late notive a week after this and still has not returned my money. This is the same person who months prior to this confirmed a date and price for building a chimney facade, and called the day before he was scheduled and said he had to cancel the job. He probably books 2 or 3 jobs at the same time. He has the worst customer service I've ever seen in my life and I'm nearly 70 years old. I don't see him lasting as a business man!! read more

Drove from Nashua to speak with someone that can sell us a woodstove including install etc. Didn't find one here. We arrived at 11:30 and the place was locked up. At 11:50, a girl came back from getting lunch. Mind you, the place is open at 10am. We went in and she handed us a bunch of brochures, paperwork, and card and told us if we had any questions...to call. She also told us that any purchases or install made now will have to wait until after Christmas. Pretty much pushing us out the door. It was very strange and not welcoming at all. While sitting in our vehicle looking for another place to go to, a car pulled up and a guy walks in to the place and a second later, they are both outside smoking a cigarette. I guess she was pushing us out for a smoke break. I wish I had the chance to give this place more stars but that experience just left a bad taste. Wamp. read more

I placed a down payment of $200 with a balance of $200, After a couple of weeks i tried it before installing it permanently. it was not sufficient heat for the room i wanted so i returned the product The owner Michael argued incessantly about giving me back my down payment. after a heated argument he said he would "think" about returning my $200 over the weekend and told me he never wanted to see my face again. 10 days have passed and he has not reimbursed my credit card. We will never use again! I had my chimney cleaned in my home and everything went great , the employee was a nice guy, I asked them if they could fix my chimney at my other property, I had a appointment on a Saturday and they never showed up because the tech was sick , then it was rescheduled and the tech was about a hour late. They quoted me a price and the tech came and fixed the bricks and when we handed him the check for 478.00 the tech was shocked and said wow this is a lot of money for this job, so I thought about it for a couple of days and decided to call , the owner said he would look into and then after he realized he ripped us off he said he would refund me $140.00 , I waited a few weeks for it and then I decided to call and they said they would mail out , I waited and waited and still no check! I called and Olivia the office worker and expressed my feelings and she kept saying , telling me will do nothing and get you nothing because the owner makes all the decision, finally after 2 months I got my check , I think only because I was not giving up on it , they sent me $120.00 not $140.00 I was promised ,, very unprofessional and will never recommend them to anyone!!!! read more

This guy is a cowboy. His work is incomplete and never good. He does not complete or correct his work. He uses the incorrect materials and always cuts corners. No apologies and never his problem. His staff do not know what advice to give and the advice is always incorrect. After other chimney establishments checked his work, they said that his work showed a great deal of negligence. He did not pull any permits for his work and even sent me the names, addresses and cell phone numbers of other customers he had appointments with. Very unprofessional. He is rude and obnoxious.
