It took a couple of months, but eventually one of the cracks started creeping out into my field of vision I scheduled an appointment for a replacement windshield. The earliest I could get in was a Saturday. I arrived on Saturday morning and parked in the street. Figuring it wouldn't take long, I opted to spend my down time in the waiting area. It wasn't long before the window tech informed me that they had ordered the wrong glass and I would have to reschedule my appointment. Upon arrival for my 2nd appointment, I left the truck and walked down the street to a Mom -n- Pop restaurant for breakfast. A little while later, I returned and the new windshield was in place. Unfortunately, they didn't have the correct rubber trim to finish the job. At that point, I couldn't wait and needed to put the truck back on the road. They knocked a few bucks off the final bill to compensate for the missing trim. It was a little disappointing that upon my 2nd visit, the truck wasn't serviced completely. I ended up having another Safelite location finish the job at no cost when my truck was at the dealership for repairs.
