If I could give negative stars I would. **Share this post** Took my vehicles to Whites Auto Glass & Trim to have my windows tinted "Limo Tint" and I took my Terrain and Tahoe back to Whites Auto Glass a second time and this is what I got. Is this considered "Limo" Tint? Since when can you see through two "Limo" Tinted windows and see the white Jeep parked a few spot over? I called and spoke with the owner Eric and he not only cut me off when I was talking so I started to talk over him .... Then he swore at me and said the "F" word at me. I am pissed because I already paid for both vehicles and now Eric is saying that I need to take it to a real tinting place and not some blo Joe that is going to say anything different Grrrrr !! Then after he said there is nothing else he can do for me, I said I will just leave a review and a photo and he said in a bitch ass way to "Go Ahead" so that is what I am doing. Great Customer Service Eric !! I do have this call recorded. So anyone that wants to have their windows tinted ..... Avoid Whites Auto Glass.

Eric White was great. I had to replace a glass roof on a MachE, and my experience was no-nonsense and easy. White's Auto Glass came to pick up my car, replaced the roof in a day, and returned it, and all for a very reasonable price. I was really impressed with the operation. read more

If I could give negative stars, this would be the time. Took my vehicles to Whites Auto Glass & Trim 2 yrs ago to have my windows tinted "Limo Tint" and I took my Terrain and Tahoe back to Whites Auto Glass a second time and this is what I got. I love this place, my back windshield was busted and I needed to get my car fixed and fast. They were able to get me in the same day I called, it took an hour and they're EXTREMELY reasonably priced. I will be back here if I need any other repairs! read more

After some confusion regarding location, the technicians arrived and immediately started to work on replacing the cracked windshield in my vehicle. They had the job done within 30-40 minutes. Whites Auto Glass is in my auto insurance network, so scheduling the appointment was very easy. They are also an authorized vendor through my auto maker and I received 50% off my insurance deductible for the glass claim. Win-win! read more

White's was recommended by Blackwell Ford to replace my convertible roof. They were the fastest and cheapest I could find. I told them my original roof was canvas but was wrong (it was vinyl) and luckily they had both in stock (the other place I priced out had both on back order). In addition, they also fixed a leak in my floor board. Good price and was done in a timely matter. Inside their office was nice and clean which is unbelievable for a car shop. I'd definitely recommend you go there. read more

The people running the place are awesome. My car had been leaking from the sunroof and I didn't realize how flooded it had gotten. They fixed the leak, removed and dried the carpet and replaced whatever is underneath. Price was very reasonable and there are not many places that fix sunroofs. I had to leave the car a couple days but worth it. My car could have become a huge Moldmobile without this repair. read more

I had a few water-like marks on my retractable headliner of Ford Edge and I was hoping there wasn't a serious leak issue w my sunroof. I took it to the Whites and they said yo just bring it out and they'd look at it. They came out to my car right away and checked it out. They hadn't seen these roofs leak before. So I was relieved. But what could it be? They said it's normally an indoor splash. I asked how to clean the spots. He got some fluid and sprayed and wiped it off. No charge and it looks like new. No more stain or cleaning fluid mark. Yay! read more

Very unprofessional company. No call, no showed me three separate times to repair two trim pieces on my vehicle. When the work was finally completed (because the dealership intervened), they had my car for two days because they had to reorder parts that they supposedly had already ordered the first time they didn't show up. Pat Milliken Ford uses this company which I believe says something about Pat Milliken Ford as well. read more

I took him the windshield frame only with broken glass in it. I had taken the car up there a few days earlier so he could look at the job before saying yes or no. He said he could do it. He said 3 -5 business day and we agreed on a fair price. 3 business days later he calls and it's done. I pick it up and take it home, I figure I should be able to put it right back on the car. NOPE. 2 screws that hold the top part of the frame together have their nuts missing, he filled the holes with sealant to keep them in. 1 of the 4 side screws that help keep the frame rigid is in crooked possibility cross threaded. Then there is sealant spread randomly around the glass. As I'm scraping this off with a razor blade I see the glass is barely in the frame at the bottom corners, it looks like he cut the radius too big and then tried to cover it up with excess sealant. The sealant is not uniformed at all. All across the bottom it's high and low and smeared. My thought is that if you can't do the job admit it. This should have been install ready when I got it back. I should have taken pictures, but unfortunately I didn't. They did a terrible terrible job and I'm so disappointed. I thought using the Local guy was the good thing to do. This time I was way way wrong. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS FOR YOUR GLASS NEEDS.

The windshield was installed without issue, and I'm happy with it. Yes, the old man on the desk could be friendlier. Yes, the inadvertently tried to send me to a Mazda dealership to pay several hundred dollars to have my windshield calibrated, which it turns out was not necessary. However, from my experience, this is a decent family owned business that I would revisit if I ever needed a new windshield on another vehicle.

Instead of replacing all the windows around the house like all the window selling people are telling us, Rob offered to fix the windows for a much better pricing. We are so happy with the result we asked them to remodel our three bathrooms. Again, their quote was better than the other 8 companies we compared with. Their timing and flexibility was better as well! Throughout the process of bathroom remodeling, they were extremely helpful, accommodating and easy to work with. From picking tiles and helping us with the pickup (usually pretty expensive), to going out of their ways to seal cracks for us on the wall and hanging paintings for my mom. They even offered to walk my dog when they were working with us. They are excellent at what they do. See images for the before and after of the bathrooms. We love our 3 bathrooms now. They were able to accommodate everything we asked them too. Including changing old electric outlets, adding a shower in the guest bathroom, and switching the vent to a heated vent. They even helped to fix my kitchen sink that a plumber failed after trying for 3 days! They are also honest people. I did notice a cracked window and Rob immediately ordered a new one and covered the cost. So they do honor their warranty on their work. Overall, would highly recommend them for their excellent work, very fair pricing, and being such good nature people!

They laid plastic on the carpet and cleaned every room fully before moving on. Even 2 windows which were found to have serious framing damage within the wall from years of leak were repaired without concern. Interior and exterior trim work is 100% quality and they did so great matching to existing. We are so happy with our project, reassured to know our home is protected from leaks on these windows and we will be back for the second half of our home as phase 2.

Had a serious sun/moon roof issue on a 2020 Ford compact hybrid SUV that I love after 70k miles. Based on my knowledge of auto tech and above-average DIY skills, it appeared to me to be a minimum $1,000, possibly $1,500 job. Even though I would argue it was an adhesive-choice design defect, the dealer confirmed my assumption that it was out of the otherwise great warranty. However, it had to be fixed, and the dealer recommended White's. I called, they were familiar with the problem and gave me a sight-unseen estimate of "about" $250. In my 75 years on this planet, owning almost every imaginable automotive vehicle you can imagine, it sounded way to easy to believe, but the dealer said they have always had good feedback on their referrals, so I booked an appointment and drove from Royal oak to Taylor ready to hear the bad news once they sized up the failure. Surprise, after a quick and great breakfast at Secret Recipes a block away, they were done and, yup, $250, it was. Definitely recommend them and they'd get at least 6 stars, if that option had been available. I could tell from talking to the gentleman I am guessing is Mr. White, that he is the reason for this outcome. However, he looked to be about my age, so I was glad to see he had a crew at work who will most likely carry on this kind of top quality service. read more

The side view mirror on my Equinox was banged and fell apart. I taped it back together and looked for a shop that could fix or replace it. I talked to White's Auto Glass and Trim and drove there so they could assess the damage. The technician ( owner ?) checked it over and put it together right there and then. And, there was no charge for that service. The tech was polite and friendly. And by the way, the entry and waiting area were very clean and inviting. Window was broken out on my Kia niro last night. Have glass overage on my insurance, but with a $500 deductible. Called around to the usual suspects and was quoted a price for a little over the deductible. Called White's not only were they a fraction of the cost, they were able to get me in same day and back on the road with a fantastic new window! White's fixed the problem with my Mustang GT three other shops couldn't figure out. It turned out the frame was twisted and needed to be replaced. The price was fair and my top works the way it should. He also fixed the panoramic shade of my wife's Edge. Again good work and a fair price.
