My 6 year old dog had just been brutally attacked by another dog ( a dog locked its jaws on my dogs neck) less than an hour after arriving at the facility Saturday 5/30. The assistant manager (who didn't assist us)asked me the same intake questions twice, the same questions I had answered at the desk and online. She was more concerned with asking me the intake questions than to bother knowing why we needed urgent care. When I asked why she was asking me the questions twice, she proceeded to tell me that I was being recorded ( as if to try to intimidate me). During her inquisition, the assistant manager began petting my dogs wound, prior to knowing why we were seeking urgent care for my dog. I told her to stop petting my dogs wound Because she had just been attacked by another dog. The assistant manager didn't seem to care why my dog needed help, she cared more about her feelings ( both my dog and I were traumatized after the attack) than my dogs severe and serious injuries. I am disgusted with the unprofessionalism and lack of sensitivity and empathy for our medical needs. I was made to drive my dog 45 minutes out of my way to the next urgent care in Thornton because she refused us service and kicked us out of the facility.

He is my soul companion, he is the beat of my heart, and he and I have a soul contract and I know that he will be in my life long after both of us have passed. I love my dog. And because I love him is the reason that I make sure that his health is taken care of to the best of my ability. Charlie was unable to tell me that he was having toothaches, and the growth on his side was non-cancerous. But I was worried, and put money aside, Knowing that a dog's dental bill would be almost as much as a humans. Funny story, Charlie and my son both went to the dentist at the same time. And Charlie horse cost more because he couldn't tell us what was wrong. He had to have three teeth pulled and a huge benign tumor removed. He is much healthier and happier now. How could I not be there for my companion when he's there for me 24/7. The least I could do is make sure physically he is healthy and it's been proven that there is a link between dental hygiene heart failure, and organ failure. I want to keep my 115 pound puppy around as long as I possibly can. Yes he's slightly overweight but he is a Dutch Shepherd mastiff mix and it looks good on him. I'm really thankful for Dr.Soliman and her amazing team in the special services that they offer for service animals and veterans. If I can spend a couple of thousand dollars to make sure that my car is taken care of on a yearly basis, the least I could do is put that amount of care into my service Animal, who is the reason that I can leave my house every day in my car. He's the reason that I get up every morning and can face the day. Charlie horse keeps me safe, he literally guides me and helped me when I fall down, he's constantly at my side, making sure that I'm OK. Anyone who has a companion animal, support or therapy dog understands how important they're health is. So thank you to Pets R Us for your dedication and love that you show on a daily. You really can't put a price on that....

Their staff, across the board, greeted us with only compassion and kindness. Kerry M. was our vet and she walked us through every step, educated us, was patient, and was so kind to Iverson and us. I had to cancel the first appointment because I was not ready to say goodbye. They offer a cancellation window up to 4 hours before your appointment and allow you to carry over your deposit to when you reschedule, with no extra fee. So thankful for this understanding. The cost may feel steep, but the in-home service is so so worth it. Iverson had his last meal while the pain meds were administered. It was a distraction where he didn't even notice. He felt safe and comfortable in his home, surrounded by family and on his favorite couch. He was then given a sedation medicine where he drifted into a nap on my chest. When the final medicine was given, he felt no pain as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have heard horror stories from other in home service companies. I had 3 friends use Caring Pathways and that is why we went with them. I am so grateful and thankful that we chose to work with Caring Pathways. It helps with acceptance and closure and provides a peaceful passing. I will forever recommend them to other family and friends who need to say goodbye to a family pet member.

It was cold and snowing so a backyard or garage service was out of the question. Our last hope was Dr. Rope. We were under the false impression that she no longer performed this service. My wife was prepared to implore her to help but was pleasantly surprised when Danielle quickly volunteered an afternoon appointment. She was an angel of mercy, today, as she patiently, professionally and lovingly released Tony from his final challenge. There group is outstanding!! The entire team genuinely cares about their patients and treats both pets and owners with kindness and professionalism. There's a reason this clinic has been serving the community since 1917--they've earned that reputation through exceptional care and dedication. Ive seen a few bad reviews, very sad.. And as for complaints about being turned down when you're more then 10 minutes late, have you ever been to any doctor? I'd encourage people to keep things in perspective. Veterinary emergencies happen, other people are patiently waiting as well. If its that urgent wouldn't you be there on time or go to an ER. Every dog is important and as pet parents, we need to be responsible and do out part, like arriving on time. I'd much rather know my veterinarian will take the time to care for an animal rather then need to rush through appointments. I myself have had to call with 24 hours notice to reschedule and I was able to get back in just a few days. They take your pets care seriously!
