Mochi and Waffles love Dr. Huang

Dr Huang is an amazing vet. Becky is the best vet tech I've ever encountered and Sara at the front is also stellar. Everyone here does there best to get the animals in and seen as quickly as possible. They are often unable to take new patients because this spot is so good none of us ever leave. You won't find a vet that truly cares as much as he does. I'm so appreciative.

Amazing staff . Dr Han is the only one I trust to treat my animals . His knowledge, compassion and honesty and goes above and beyond. Thank you for all you do for my animals.

Horrible service. Called to ask a simple question only to be put on hold immediately and was not helped out.

This is by far the best veterinarian we have found in our area. He is not over priced and the Dr. and staff are so efficient.

Ask the Community - Veterinary Integrative Center

Around how much would it be to spay my four year old cat?

I got my 9 month old cat spayed for roughly 180 pain medication and collar included.

Does my cat need an appointment to see your doctor tomorrow morning? Thanks.

Scheduled Appointments are better because you get seen first but they allow walk in if necessary but preferable appointments

    Do they take walk ins?

We called them first for an urgent appointment and they took us in. We just waited about 20 mins as the doc is with another patient.

We took our 2 Mainecoon cats to this hospital, initially we were on the fence about the vet who did…read morethe wellness check on our kitties. We had legitimate reservations about one vacination and engaged in a long but productive conversation with the vet about it. As well as other things such as HCM and testing. After our conversation we agreed to the vaccination and allowed them to give it to our 1 year old girl. I then made an appointment for the 30th to spay our girl. Fast foward 5 days and I contact them about SOAP notes from the visit so we could submit them to the insurance company. The things this vet noted were absolutely insane. She stated we refused vaccination. UNTRUE. We allowed them to give it. the second vaccination we agreed to when our kitty was to be spayed. She also noted that she was 4 out 5 unpredictable and tried to bite her. What do you think happens when you try and peel a cats mouth back to look at thier gums? That wasn't a bite. I watched the whole thing and it was far from. Also was she unpredictable when the tech fed her a handful of treats? We took in to this office 2 incredibly healthy Cats. Our girl with minor gingivitis. Thats it. They offered us a $350 a year plan for dental cleanings as dental would likley be considered a pre-existing condition. I told the vet I think that would be ok, but that I would like to talk to my wife about it and wait for insurance to confirm or deny coverage for dental before we did anything. We come to find that the vet claims that we denied the dental treatment plan in the SOAP notes. Just to be clear, this is just a couple of things that stood out to us that the vet had notated. In every instance of the notes this vet made my wife and I look like horrible owners, like we were going to neglect our two new beautiful babies, and that the concerns we had about vaccination was flat out refusal, when in fact we had agreed and allowed them to vaccinate. Furthermore, the way the notes read was as if she was activley trying to get our kitties denied insurance coverage. Remember, One is 1 year 4 months old and the other is 12 weeks. The real kicker came when I contacted the office for the SOAP notes and they stated they needed to see her HCM screening results. I dont have those results. But I could find on the breeders website where she claimed that she was screened and negative. Along with multiple other screenings that the breeder had done to ensure she was breeding only high quality cats. The next day the office contacts us by email stating that the vet is refusing to spay our girl until HCM screening is done and fowarded to her office. Message recieved. Appointments cancelled. Appointments made at our usual clinic (farther from home). AND NEVER. AND I MEAN NEVER! AGAIN WILL WE GO TO THIS HOSPITAL. My wife and I want nothing but the abosolute best for our babies. We spent the money at a reputable breeder to buy high quality amazing cats. We want the best for them. We love them so so much. NEVER AGAIN WILL REDLANDS ANIMAL HOSPITAL SEE OUR CATS. And we will most certainly spread the word far and wide about this clinic not being acceptable to bring your beloved babies.

My five year old frenchie seemed to be having some pain and just wasn't herself…read more Our regular vet recommended we come here so we did It's an emergency hospital so let me first say that I do in fact understand and appreciate how these places work so when I state my wait time you need to know that my pet was fully stable and even comfortable waiting We hung out in the car-she napped and we waited about 6 hours but they were very busy with animal control cases and very sick pets We saw a tech in triage for vitals who was just so kind and sweet to our girl She was patient and gave me time even to settle a bit as she took info about why we were there and her history The front desk associates were all great as well Compassionate and kind as they handled crying and stressed owners Very kind and patient The place itself is clean and inviting Almost looked like my UC I go to myself There is plenty of waiting space and a coffee bar and clean restrooms The doctor had wonderful bedside manner and was thorough. Dr Hidd if I'm not mistaken? She was kind to my girl but most of all was thorough and I felt good about the plan leaving daisy helped us with our meds and discharge and she was also so kind and thorough It's a great place if you need emergency care Pricing was very fair also in my opinion for exams and meds -luckily we did not have any imaging costs etc but I was ready and willing for that Great experience

Absolutely terrible experience at Veterinary Emergency Center of Redlands…read more I brought my 1-year-old cat here around 11 PM after he had vomited four times, including blood and blood clots. I was also concerned he may have been exposed to lilies, which are extremely toxic to cats. As you can imagine, I was terrified and expecting emergency care. Before my cat was even properly evaluated, I was charged for an exam fee, a poison control consultation fee, and a Parvo test that I was confident he did not need. By the time everything was said and done, I had already spent hundreds of dollars before getting any real answers. I was told the wait would be approximately 2-4 hours. I understood it was an emergency hospital and was fully prepared to wait. What I was NOT prepared for was spending over 9 hours there while my cat sat sick and vomiting. It took roughly 6 hours before he was even properly seen. The most frustrating part was that when the veterinarian finally came to speak with me, it seemed like there had been little to no communication regarding why I brought my cat in. I had repeatedly expressed concerns about possible lily toxicity, yet I felt like we were starting from square one. Shortly after, I was presented with an estimate of roughly $4,500. At that point, I was beyond frustrated. It genuinely felt like the priority was my wallet rather than my cat. I agreed only to bloodwork, IV fluids, and anti-nausea medication because I had already decided I would seek care elsewhere the following day. Throughout the night, I could hear staff talking and socializing in the back while I sat there worried sick about my cat. Multiple times I felt ignored when asking for updates or assistance. To make matters worse, I overheard comments suggesting it was "not smart" of me to decline the recommended treatment plan. After sitting there all night, being quoted thousands of dollars, and feeling completely unheard, that was the last thing I needed. I understand veterinary medicine is expensive. I understand emergency hospitals get busy. What I don't understand is charging people hundreds of dollars upfront, making them wait all night, failing to communicate effectively, and then acting judgmental when they cannot or choose not to approve a $4,500 treatment plan. My cat was the one suffering, and I left feeling like nobody gave a damn until it was time to discuss money.
