Her eye 10X worse after leaving
    Laura M.

Brought my dog in for anisocoria a few weeks ago. Dr brinkman and his tech (who was wearing no shoes? I'm All about comfort, but you better be THAT good if you're about to walk in to treat my dog shoeless). Was charged $250 for a series of "tests" all of which were inconclusive. Dr. Brinkman was stumped and asked us to come back in a week. When we came back, he ran a lot of the same tests he had already run and still said he didn't know what was wrong but recommended a tear duct flush for an estimated cost of $800 (!?!). He also said he couldn't do it for another five days so we would have to wait. The tech let me know that I could call her if my dogs eye worsens and gave me her cell phone number. After coming home, her eye got way worse and was almost completely swollen shut with green discharge coming out of it so I text the tech. Her response was that I could take her to my regular vet the following day. What is the point of giving someone your info as an emergency contact if the person is having an emergency and you won't help? I wasted around $400 to find out absolutely nothing and for her eye to get worse. This place is not worth it and caused us more damage and stress than before we came in.

This is Panda. She is now 4 years old. I started a BLOG about her when she was six weeks old. I am starting to revise it and add more photos

Dr. Brinkman (1914 E Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89104) and his receptionist, Karen are WONDERFUL!!! From the moment you walk in, Karen is so sweet and helpful. Dr. Brinkman is very thorough and very knowledgeable! My only complaint is with his Nurse. She is rude and very rough with my dog.

    Hes doing great.

Amazing that I was able to get an appointment for this week here. Another office told me their next appointment is March 2027,lol. Making the appointment was easy. Showing up was pretty great too. Pulling up there was parking near the front door. The front desk staff were very polite and helpful. They were efficient and kind. Checking out was very easy too and a big shout out to Stephen for his help. There was literally no waiting at any point. I did tell them ahead of time that I'm not a waiter! Making customers wait is the epitome of rudeness and disrespect. The office wasn't crowded. Last year I went to Shepherd eye center and it was horrible! It was like cattle being herded. The office was very clean and quiet. I first met with a lovely young woman that ran me through a bunch of different tests. She told me her name but I apologize for not remembering it. She finished by dilating my eyes. I waited about 5 minutes and then I was called back and met with Dr Giang. He looked into my eyes and then gave me a detailed explanation of what they found. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I'm very impressed by this office! I definitely will recommend them. I didn't take any pictures but I did get an information card on my optometrist which is attached.

Wellish Vision Institute was excellent in every aspect of my visit…read more I had LASIK on both of my eyes performed by Dr. Wellish and cannot begin to describe how life changing the outcome is. My vision wasn't terrible but I did have to wear glasses or contacts for everything everyday all day for anything for 25 years until Dr. Wellish fixed my eyes. I was nervous about having the procedure done (who wouldn't be nervous about lasers in your eyes!?) the staff that he has working with him did an excellent job of addressing my concerns and putting me at ease while I waited in the relaxation room - they made sure that I was comfortable and that my anxiety was subsided. When it was time for the procedure it was very quick and very professional; not a skip in the beat. It was very clear that Dr. Wellish and his staff are very good and quite possibly the very best at what they do. Dr. Wellish was very empathetic during the process as well and made sure that I knew what to expect as it was happening so that I wouldn't be caught off guard in anyway. Healing was exactly as they said - it was roughly a day and I could see wonderfully for the first time in a very long time. My vision continued to get clearer and clearer as the days went on and now my vision is better than perfect! I had my follow up visits with Dr. McCandless who is also amazing! He was very informative on after care and addressed all of my questions and any concerns I had. He filled out the DMV paperwork for me as well so that I can have the appropriate wording on my drivers license. If you have EVER considered LASIK- I encourage you to do it!!! And I greatly recommend Dr. Wellish and his staff!

They have 2 offices on the same floor in the same building (both with signs that say "Wellish Abrams") and after checking in at the front desk we sat for an half hour but ten minutes past our appointment time someone called over from the other office and said I was in the wrong place and they had been searching all over for me assuming maybe I was stuck in the bathroom. It was quite a long time and lextensive process before we saw Dr Shah for about 3-5 minutes and he said I have a Vitreous Hemorrhage, it is very serious, and I need to see someone right away. I was referred to a retina specialist that was closed so I was told to call Desert Retina first thing the next day. The Wellish Abrams workers never faxed the referral with notes to Desert Retina so the operator at Desert Retina asked me to call Wellish Abrams and request they send the referral and notes. Wellish Abrams does not answer their phones, they employ an answering service which says they will try to get the request to Wellish Abrams within 24 hours. After 24 hours you must trust that the people who did not send the referral the first time will do it the next day. I do not understand why the process has to be such a circus, if you have an eye emergency why can't you go to one place and get all your medical needs accomplished? Southern Hills sent me to Wellish, which took 2 days, Wellish sent me to Desert Retina and didn't forward the referral and notes and meanwhile my eyeball is hemorrhaging. 3 doctors along the way stressed to me that my situation is an emergency and could result in blindness if not handled expeditiously.

Reason for Visit: Evaluation of sudden, unilateral (left…read moreeye) loss of near-focus accommodation, accompanied by severe nausea, dizziness, and lightheadedness, which immediately followed a COVID-19 infection at 33 years old. Review of Provider Conduct and Clinical Care: I am submitting this review regarding my recent appointment with Selim T. Koseoglu, The care I received was unprofessional, dismissive, and clinically inadequate for a patient presenting with post-viral neurological symptoms. * Complete Lack of Patient Communication: The doctor entered the room and spoke at me without allowing me to speak a single word or describe my symptoms. When he returned after my eyes were dilated, he continued to lecture rather than converse. When I explicitly asked if he even knew why I was there, he stated he "read the chart," yet he never actually allowed me to vocalize the structural and systemic nature of my issue. * Dismissive and Demeaning Behavior: When I finally managed to explain my specific concerns regarding post-viral damage/weakness to the ciliary muscle mapping, the doctor completely dismissed me. He aggressively told me that what I was reading was "not medical science" and left the room looking visibly angry. * Misdiagnosis and Clinical Oversight: Rather than addressing a sudden, one-sided focusing deficit linked directly to a viral infection, the doctor brushed it off as natural, age-related presbyopia and told me I would eventually just need bifocals. This completely misses the clinical reality: my current glasses work perfectly fine up close, my right eye accommodates normally, and my issue is a sudden binocular mismatch causing severe visual vertigo and nausea. While a standard mechanical exam might show a structurally healthy eyeball, this doctor completely failed to investigate the neurological and functional aspects of post-viral accommodative insufficiency. Brushing off sudden, debilitating neurological symptoms in a 33-year-old as basic "aging" is an insult to patient care. There is an established body of science surrounding neuro-optometric rehabilitation and vision therapy for post-viral cranial nerve and ciliary dysfunction. I deserved a comprehensive binocular vision assessment, or at the very least, a referral to a neuro-optometric specialist, rather than being demeaned, arrogantly mansplained AT and dismissed. Clearly, this doctor needs to do a little bit more research in his field. Get up-to-date. things have changed since he first went to school. However, my technician- I did not catch his name, but the black man with the long hair- I think his name started with a D, he was amazing. He was very patient, very kind and even though he didn't need to he tried to kind of pick up the pieces when I expressed distress at the fact that the doctor had not allowed me to speak a single word to him before leaving the room, and he explained what he could to me. He was great 10 out of 10, would recommend.

They have various locations https://centerforsightlv.com/appointments/ Everyone at the Peak (Dr Liang), Coronado (for my post op with Dr. Licina) and Tenaya Surgical Center ( Dr. Liang and surgical team) locations treated me with the utmost professionalism and care. The critical thing to remember is to write down all of your questions and concerns and bring them with you. That way, the uncertainty is taken away more quickly as any surgery is always a bit nerve wracking. Also, make sure you follow their instructions to the letter for pre/post op to ensure the best outcome. Being hyper analytical I always have many worries, but even on the day of my surgery for my right eye, the team put me at ease and before I knew it I was going home. I wish my insurance covered for my astigmatism as I opted for that procedure as well, and it's expensive, but well worth it, so I took on a CareCredit (the councilor there helps you get it set up) that I will pay off in two years with no fees etc at the end.

He is very well qualified and I trust him (5+ Stars) Unfortunately NV Eye decided to perform a refraction during my initial eye exam. Apparently Medicare never covers this test and has denied the charge. NV Eye is billing me. I did not know that they would do this test nor, at the time, that it is not covered by Medicare. When I scheduled the appointment I made sure that they knew it was for a glaucoma-related exam. I have been having these exams, covered by Medicare, yearly since 2013. Online research reveals that refraction is for glasses/contact lens prescriptions. I did not receive or request such a prescription. I called NV Eye billing to discuss. The rep told me that because I signed the acceptance of financial liability form (the boiler plate form in the new patient pkg with the hippa info - basically that everyone must sign to get an appointment), I am responsible for the charge. I asked if there is an ABN - no, just this blanket form. She told me to call the medical office to discuss why this test was done on a Medicare beneficiary at all. She told me that her supervisor would call me. I called the office again and was sent straight to Billing. The supervisor has never called me. I do not know why NV Eye would perform an uncovered test as a part of a covered eye exam. I canceled my next appointment with Dr. Singh (6/8/26) because I cannot trust that they will not perform uncovered procedures without my permission. I am extremely disappointed, I was planning to schedule cataract surgery with Dr. Singh but cannot afford uncovered medical procedures. The telephone # that is provided by the owner in response to negative reviews is the general number I called to resolve this issue, 7028966043. I cannot continue to receive care from this company

Dear Av Resuello, Medical Group,…read more I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding an extremely unprofessional and disrespectful interaction I experience when calling your office to confirm my appointment. During my call, the first staff member informed me that she could not locate my information and then place me on hold. After several minutes, another person picked up the line and greeted me as if I were a brand-new caller, with no acknowledgment that I had already been on hold. When I expressed the confusion and frustration about the situation, instead of listening or asking what the issue was, that staff member immediately. Stated that the police would be called if I came to the office. The response was completely inappropriate, unnecessary and highly unprofessional. At no point did I threaten anyone. I was simply trying to understand what had happened with my call and my appointment. Being met with that kind of hostility is unacceptable, especially from a medical office where professionalism, respect, and commotional should be top priorities. I am requesting that this incident be properly investigated and that the staff involved receive corrective action, whether that be disciplinary measures or formal retraining on communication, phone etiquette and de-escalation skills. Patient should never feel dismissed or theater when trying to receive assistance. I would also like to mention that when the agent who was assisting me called the office on my behalf, that same staff member spoke to her in a disrespectful and unprofessional manner as well. This shows that the issue is not isolated and that the way customer and even other professional are being spoken to need to be addressed. Please take this matter seriously and ensure that no other patient has toa experience what I did. I look forward to a response confirming my complaint has been received and steps are being taken to address this behavior.

I walk in to a room full of people (mostly children) and had to ask a child where to check in because the registration 'window' is completely covered with papers/signs/notices ... seriously can't even tell there's a window there. The only door is semi blocked so it took me a while to see that you have to knock on the door (wth) to even get someone to recognize that you are there. I don't even know what to say about quality of care. So bad! I waited over 3 hours and when I finally got in through the door it is littered with unnecessary furniture and obstacles so it makes it hard to walk through the hallways and get in the exam room, which is an office. I get it, it's a small business and you use what you have but this was extreme. The 'nurse' took all my info, then the doctor came in and did do a good background on me, except for wanting to change all my heart medications without first consulting my cardiologist. Then they made a huge mistake by typing in my name wrong on all the records so between them, my insurance claim, and CVS I now have 3 aliases and none of them are me so it's been a month and I'm still trying to get that fixed. It's really hard to get through to the office. The main number rings and rings and then magically disconnects. IMPOSSIBLE to get through, on a regular basis. When the doctor asked me when I wanted to go back for recheck, I asked for a day that wasn't as busy so I didn't have to wait three hours. She LAUGHED and said it was always like that. Wow. I did make an appointment but have been trying every day calling back to back for 20 minutes during lunch to get through to cancel. I will fax them along with a copy of this review and hopefully they will improve their services to other patients. Worst of all, the parking lot is horrid. There is one way in - one way out. Not enough parking for everyone so best of luck if you have big car/suv. I had to go around the block twice to realize the entrance is on the side street and getting out I had to back out of the IN way because I couldn't make the turn around the building to get out the out way.
