We took ill cat to the animal hospital. There we learned our cat had an enlarged heart and needed to be on meds. We went for a follow up a week later and they demanded we take the cat off the heart meds even though we told them the animal hospital stressed the cat needed to be on them. Two weeks later our cat passed away. Fast forward to today, chalk the first one up to honest mistake. This next mistake, unforgivable. My elderly cat (16 yo) came in due to a drop in weight. Concerned they did blood work and a host of other tests. They said the cat was just old and otherwise it was in "top health." A number of months pass and she slowly losses more energy and develops an eye infection. Again this place was unavailable to see my cat but could squeeze it in for an extra hundred bucks. I again am forced to take her to the animal hospital. There they look at her file and said not only does she most likely have CANCER, but her one lung is gone, and she has FAILING kidneys. Again, this isn't something they did tests for, this is something already in her file that Governors Animal Hospital REFUSED and NEGLECTED to ever tell me about. Don't take your animal here, they are not safe. They will lie to you, and they will charge you top dollar to do so.

STAY AWAY! THEY ALMOST KILLED MY CAT!!!…read more We brought my sick cat in on a Saturday because we suspected he had a UTI. We were told he did not have a UTI, was diagnosed with FIC, and that there was little that could be done other than reducing stress. On Monday, my regular veterinarian learned about the visit and strongly urged us to bring him in for a follow-up. After examining him, they diagnosed a severe UTI and told us he was in very bad shape. His testing showed blood, pus, and infection in his urine. Had my veterinarian not insisted on seeing him, we likely would have followed the ER vet's advice that his symptoms would simply "come and go" and not seek further treatment. It's frightening to think about what could have happened if we had waited. When I contacted the ER clinic regarding the misdiagnosis, I was told that the test results were "open to interpretation." That response is deeply concerning given the seriousness of my cat's condition. Our visit left us with a misdiagnosis, $500+ bill, and cat that almost died. Please learn from our experience and don't let our story be yours...It may save your pet's life!

She suggested the current groomer. I asked how I could contact my groomer and was told that no one knew how to contact her. I then stated to her that maybe they just didn't want me to go else where. The desk person he hawed and apologized. This to me showed lack of respect for a client and also a non caring attitude towards my pet. Very poor customer service. They provided me two samples of dog food to try that seem crazy healthy (see images) and they offered a lot of details on bonus offers. I love the fact that there are tubs in the back you can wash your dogs THERE with supplied shampoo and items for $9.00 and the stainless tubs are awesome. That is a GREAT offer. The grooming services are NOT unreasonable at ALL and the feel inside the store is one of being at home - which you want with any pet.
