There are not a lot of great looking salons in the desert but she just opened after this remodel and it is really gorgeous. It's in Palm Desert kind of in the middle of everything so it's a good location. It was a lot more expensive than I usually spend for my hair, but I was happy with the result. Hair Cut was $120 but she took a lot of hair off and next time she said it would be $50 and more of a trim. The single process color for my roots was $120, plus $100 for a shine product to cover my ends so the total with tip was $362. Expensive yes! Will I return, definitely! Gotta look good ha.

He took off a lot of weight, cleaned up the shape, and layered it in a way that actually works with how my hair behaves instead of against it. The result is low-maintenance but still looks put together. The real test? Wind, work, time... and it still looked good hours later. That's a skilled cut. We had an extensive consultation (and Zac had also asked me a number of questions via text prior to our appointment). I wanted some of the length off and to refresh the style, and said that I was open to his ideas. He told me to advance what he was going to do, kept me advised all during the process, ended up taking off about 3 inches and somehow cut it so it looks like I have double the amount of hair I did when I came in. I have never had a better haircut. I have waves and curls that I didn't think I did, it's easy to wash and maintain (he recommended products that he used on me, and I did get them, and they are excellent), and my hair looks good all the time now. Zac also showed me how to use the products, which makes my at home styling much better than it ever was. I'm definitely returning, in fact I have my next visit booked already. Unfortunately I had to postpone my wedding to November due to COVID-19, and Nancy was already booked for my new date. I was so gutted because she not only is an AMAZING makeup artist, but a genuine and lovely person. I'm the ultimate introvert who doesn't have the best self confidence so I was nervous about going to my trial but it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. (My fiancé and I come from Brooklyn, NY). She made me feel so at ease and really listened to what I wanted. I found in the past artists can just put on your what they think is best without representing your ideas, NOT Nancy. She not only incorporated color/style elements I was interested in but she made them perfect to fit my complexion and makeup goals. I kept telling her I felt like a movie star getting this kind of treatment! The reason I was so interested in working with Nancy was from looking at her IG. She really enhanced the natural beauty of each client instead of covering them up. I found I looked like a "better" version of myself, not like I different person. Corresponding with Nancy was so easy and arranging for the setup and time was a piece of cake! There were four of us and two of us wanted both hair and makeup. As we were getting done, the two other girls decided they wanted their hair done as well and Lidia (Nancy's hair gal) was able to accommodate. Overall, we had the best, most pleasant experience with Nancy & Lidia. We had great conversations and even learned about a couple of her products, tools & tips! Highly recommend! We were ready in a timely fashion and because we all wanted "natural looks", we were all picture perfect!
