Bottle of one of their wine, check out the name.

Who knew there are wineries in Fairfield? What a great find. We started at Vezér's - The Blue Victorian - plenty of outdoor seating, there's indoor seating as well. The wine tasting consists of 4 tastings, plus the tasting here pays for your tasting at their second site, Vezér Vineyards. You can't go wrong. The wines were yummy, starting with their white then immediately into their various reds. Wine tastings is completely an individual process, all dependent on what you like, fruit tones, leather, chocolate to crisp versus jammy & deep flavor notes. They have, for me, some nice wines at both spots. They also offer a great charcuterie board with at least 4 various cheeses, several different meats, some spicy jam, candy covered almonds & olives , all of which pair well with the various wines being served. Overall a great day out adventuring. As an aside, if you start at the Blue Victorian you can park at the local school & get shuttled over to the Verér Vineyard tasting room, avoiding the hassle of attempting to find parking in the area AND FREE.

I love this winery! It's such a cute spot with friendly staff! Great location and their wine is really good! They also offer a great charcuterie board at this location. The tasting Includes both of their locations (the other vezer is close by), check with them though as sometimes if a location had an event it can be hard to try both locations.

First off, Kevin gave me the Vezer wine experience and he deserves the shout out of all shout outs for being awesome and knowledgeable. Next, what a great experience. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the wines across the board are terrific and without writing a 10 page on each one, all are top quality and just a treat. Vezer Family Vineyard really feels like your visiting family and kicking back but with The added bonus of copious amounts of wine. Add this to your Must visit list when you swing through Fairfield, CA.

Really enjoyed my visit this morning! The name caught my as it's Hungarian (for captain). Hungary, despite being such a small country, does have a pretty big contribution to the world of wine! Anyway, amazing wines (Barbera had a blueberry aroma which I live for!!) and picturesque vineyard with their Blue Victorian mansion at the foot of the hills! Shout out to Octavio and Jace for really make me feel welcome and appreciated! Your genuine hospitality is 100% integral to the wine/winery-visiting experience.

Did you know there are wineries in Fairfield?! I was surprised by this, but it turned out to be a pleasant experience. My sister's whole wedding entourage was treated to Vezer's family vineyard private wine tasting. It was part of the package of the house that we rented for the weekend. The drive up to the house is quite nice: lush hills (all that winter rain!), quiet surroundings, a few houses here and there. A nice break from the city life. We sat out in the veranda overlooking the hills and were given 5 tastes of their wines. The Vezer family has owned the property for more than 3 decades and doesn't plan on selling. Too bad ;-) I find that their whites are not their strong suit, there are a few reds worth mentioning: the 2013 Cassie Estate Petite Sirah is classic Suisun valley style according to our host. A beautiful almost violet color with complex blueberries, tobacco aromas, medium acidity and typical Syrah tannins. I also liked the La Salette Blend, a mixture of 65% Petite Sirah and 35% zin. You get your fruit forward flavors and a luscious finish. She also treated us to a couple tastes of their ports (not ready yet) still in the barrel. I'm not a port gal as this is just too sweet for me. After a relaxing hour or so, we headed back to the tasting room to order some bottles to take back. Don't forget to check in on yelp to receive the discount. 3.5 rounded up to 4 for the friendly customer service.

Vezer Family Vineyard has not one but two locations that the public can visit their tasting rooms in the Suisun Valley in Solano County. To clarify any confusion this location is known as Vezer Family Vineyard - Blue Victorian, and it's easily located a few miles west of the Suisun Valley Rd. exit headed north on Interstate 80. The winery is highlighted by the stunning blue Victorian house in which the tasting room is located surrounded by patio with fireplaces and lush vineyards. In comparison to their other location on Mankas Corner, which is more of a tasting room/barrel room/concert venue, this location is so picturesque and epitomizes what a winery should look like. What many people may not know is that Vezer Family Vineyard is at the epicenter of the wine revolution going on in the heart of the Suisun Valley. When considering great North Bay wine, you instantly think of Sonoma and Napa Counties, but many people may not know that there a number of great wineries in Solono County as well. A true definition of what a hidden gem is all about. I had only peripherally heard of this region before and my friends and I were given a front row introduction to some of the wineries in the area by my fellow Elite Yelper and friend Michelle, who happened to be Chieftain wine club member at Vezer. We came the day after Thanksgiving and since it was a holiday, the tasting room was packed. But we easily got our tasting thanks to Michelle fortitude in being a member. Since she's allowed to bring five other guests with her we got a complimentary sampling of their 2014 Sauvignon Blanc, 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2011 Jake's Master Blend, 2012 Cassie-Estate Petite Sirah, and the 2010 La Salette. I loved the Sauvignon Blanc with its flavors of ruby grapefruit, guava, stony minerality and white pepper. It was a unique combination that went down crisply. I also loved Jake's Master Cellar Blend with its unique blend of Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Petit Sirah. It was smoother than many blends I've had before. All of this sipping was held one of the nicest vineyard grounds you'll see. We sat outside due to the crowds in the main tasting room and the staff was nice enough to light a fire pit as we tried our best to roast outside despite the cool air while sipping our pours. When they weren't slammed inside, the crew was nice enough to come outside and pour more of their selections. That's customer service with a smile. Eventually the crowds let up and were able to finish our tasting indoors in their lush living room where we learned more about Vezer Family Wines and the events they throw on their grounds. Great wine, easy to access location, solid customer service, Vezer Family Vineyards is a hidden gem that no longer needs to remain hidden.

Suisun Valley Has WINES! (Who'da Thought THAT?) ;) SITREP It is actually quite surprising to be driving down Suisun Valley Road and you come upon the Vezer Family's "Blue Victorian Winery" (Blue Victorian). THE SETUP Set against the beautiful landscape of the rolling hills, Blue Victorian sits amid a campus of wine-production buildings. This location is perfect for both great wine tasting with fun events. AN ARRAY OF TASTINGS During my visit, I was able to enjoy a substantive flight of some of Vezer's most accessible wines:: = Vezer's Classic Petit Syrah (Suisun Valley 2012 = Vezer's Cabernet Sauvignon (Suisun Valley 2011) = Vezer's Zinfandel (Suisun Valley 2011) = Vezer's "La Salette" (a wonderful blend of 65% Petit Syrah & 35% Zinfandel) - this is definitely for me, the best wine of the bunch. BLUE VICTORIAN ESTATE INSIDE. Blue Victorian is expansive and with desire to promote fun events and parties. It includes the main building where actual wine tasting is conducted, with great separate rooms for the wine party guests. There is also the Barrel Room where you can see the large inventory of barrels, but permits even LARGER group events. OUTSIDE. I love the tents and outside cabana spaces where you can have an intimate experience with small group of people who may still be part of a larger group. THE LOWDOWN It is wonderful to see that even in the Sacramento Valley, there is fantastic wine to be had that is close by! Definitely worth a trip to the Blue Victorian to experience it.

I was in the area attending a memorial for a dear friend who lost her battle to cancer. Traffic was bad on I-80 heading back to Marin, so I decided to make a pit stop at Vezér. Thanks to Yelp, I had the pleasure of meeting dynamic duo Laura and Pam at an event in SF at the Maritime Museum. They poured their flagship wine La Salette, and endless dessert wine 2012 Franci Black Muscat. We fell in love with both. I started off at their Mankas corner tasting room, and Bree was a gracious host. She advised I had to go to the next stop along Suisun Valley Road to taste the remainder of their wines at the Blue Victorian. I wasted no time after purchasing a bottle of the Black Muscat and went on my merry way. Once I entered the Blue Victorian, I showed my receipt for the tasting, and the beautiful ladies poured the next 6 tastings with complimentary almonds. Alana was also a gracious host, and at one time, Alex came over to assist. He was super friendly and attentive. Midway into the tastings, I decided to meander around the property to check out the patio and barrel room. Guess who I ran into...the owner himself Frank Vezér! He's the nicest man I've ever met, and he started talking to me like I was family. He gave me a bottle of 2010 La Salette on the house - OMG! Thank you soooooooo much Frank, how generous! It was truly a pleasure meeting you. I'm deciding on becoming a Chieftain Wine Club member, as the benefits are impressive. - 12 monthly shipments per year, all shipments $98 plus tax & shipping - Complimentary tasting for member & five guests - Complimentary cheese tray for four people during visit - Four complimentary pick-up parties per year - Two complimentary tickets to the formal Black & Red Chieftain Gala - Two complimentary tickets to the Mankas Gardens Summer Concerts - Complimentary VIP tasting at the Ranch for member & five guests - 50% discount on Barrel Room Cottage overnight stays - 25% discount on all wines sold at Vezér tasting rooms - 25% discount on all special invitation events - 25% discount on La Salette no restrictions on # of bottles - 15% off private event rentals at all locations - Legacy Room, Blue Victorian, and The Ranch tasting rooms are available for private, after hours, meetings, or dinners at 25% discount on weekday event site rentals - 12% discount at Mankas Steakhouse on all food Talk about VIP treatment at Vezér Family Vineyard; I see why the locals are raving about it. We all know these events come with a hefty price in Napa, even if you're a loyal member. I can't wait to bring hubby back with me the next time I'm in Fairfield. Thank you for your hospitality. 'Til we meet again ~ cheers!

WhT an amazing space ..excellent service at the blue house from Kevin and ALLL the staff there. Next stop was tasting room on manias corner with an amazing outside patio and equally amazing customer service experience!! The owner was there and came by and chatted with us super nice guy!! If I lived near here I would definitely join the club because the wine is pricey but really good quality and tastes so awesome!! You will never visit Napa again after coming here !! There is a great lil restaurant next door so a small snack is really all the vineyard needs. Can't wait to return.

    Cheers

Great local winery when I don't wanna drive all the way to Napa. They have two locations within 1 mile radius. You pay for wine tasting and get an admission to both places. For $20, I think it's a great deal! First location is really cozy, they have garden outside where you can enjoy the sunshine. Also, they have cottage where you can rent out for a little getaway locally. Second location also has indoor/outdoor areas where you can enjoy wine. We ended up getting the membership since it was so affordable and close to our home. Only downside is the finger food.. I wish they had more selections..

We noticed the beautiful property, the giant wine glass sculpture, and a sign for live music on Friday night, so we decided to stop in. Jeff greeted us at the door and immediately made us feel welcome. After hearing we enjoy sparkling wine, he poured us a taste of their Brut, which was crisp, refreshing, and good enough that we ordered a bottle to enjoy while the band set up. The atmosphere here is fantastic with comfortable seating, a lively crowd, and genuinely friendly staff like Jessica & Jeff. They also shared a little history of the winery and introduced us to some of their house-made spirits, including a surprisingly smooth vodka crafted from Chardonnay grapes. My friend especially loved their tequila selection. Once Sixty Scandals started playing their '80s covers, the place came alive. People were dancing, laughing, and just having a great time. We even ended up making a few new wine friends during the evening. Before we left, my friend joined the wine club, and we walked out with bottles, hats, and plans to come back soon. We also had the chance to meet the owner, who was humble, welcoming, and clearly passionate about creating a fun community space. If you're in the Fairfield/Suisun area, Bally Keal is absolutely worth checking out. Cheers / sláinte!

There's a counter area where you can order coffee, pastries, breakfast items, or food to-go, while the left side has a hostess stand if you'd prefer full table service inside or on the patio. The brunch menu was a bit limited, and I ended up ordering the croissant sandwich. The croissant itself was soft and fresh, but overall the sandwich left me wanting a little more flavor. It was on the smaller side, didn't have much bacon, and even with the preserved tomato aioli it felt a bit underwhelming. The breakfast potatoes also weren't really my favorite. They were small whole potatoes with the skins on and heavily seasoned with cayenne pepper. Personally, I would've liked another side option such as fresh fruit. That said, the staff was very friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. For two croissant sandwiches, two iced teas, and a side of fries, the total came to around $70 with tip, which felt a little pricey for the overall experience. The property itself is beautiful. It looks like they host live music and events in the outdoor quad area, and I noticed they also offer wood-fired pizza after 11 AM, which honestly sounds worth coming back to try. Overall, I have mixed feelings as the atmosphere and service were great, but the food didn't quite live up to expectations for me personally.

I initially booked an olive oil tasting but later discovered that it was more of an educational thing where you have to sit in a room. With a baby and a dog , I was hoping we can just enjoy that outdoors but they weren't able to accommodate. I hope sometime in the future they can change that . Instead of the olive oil tasting , I decided to have lunch outdoors. It was such a beautiful day and a tad windy . We started with some cocktails. Pomegranate Margarita : 5/5 it was the perfect blend of tangy , slightly sweet and the salt rim balanced all the flavors nicely. Also , it was pretty strong . Charcuterie $45 : Wow the presentation for this charcuterie was beautiful . Everything on the board was yummy and was a nice snack for grazing and enjoying it with the cocktail . I really liked the sweet walnuts , olives , wagyu sausage , pickled carrots , cauliflower , & the fig jam . 5/5 French onion soup $20 : I never really think to get a french onion soup but I was convinced that this was the best thing ever .. and guess what ?! It was !! This was probably the best french onion soup i've ever had . It was super rich , savory , and slightly sweet from the carmelized onions . It also had some delicious melted gruyère cheese that was oozing with the soup . The puff pastry on top was soo good . It was nice and comforting . 5/5 Prosciutto and Brie $30 : Dare I say this was probably one of the tastiest sandwiches ever ?! I can't believe prosciutto and brie can taste this good . The combination of garlic aioli , pickled shallots , red onions with farm greens mixed in the sandwich really brought out all the flavors. The only downside is for the portion idk if it justifies the price 4.5 /5 Ordered a special Pre fixe menu that came with farm salad with Quinoa + Olive oil icecream puff pastry dessert $30 + 10 salmon add on to salad . Salmon quinoa salad : This dish was super simple but the fish was cooked to perfection . It was super moist and the quinoa was fluffy and the salad was nicely dressed . 5/5 We had a great time and the food was fantastic. I'm really happy this place was dog friendly and family friendly. It's so hard finding places that accommodate both . Service was great . Luis did a good job on making sure we were taken care of . He was always checking in on us during our meal and was even whispering when the baby was napping . A+ service . Overall this place is a hidden gem . It's a tad pricey for lunch but the quality and service makes it worth it . We will definitely be back again to try the other delicious foods !
