I'm always greeted warmly by the receptionist and have never had a long wait for my service(s). The salon is clean, quaint, and neat. You will have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to the salon. For a Brazilian appointment I'm always out in about 30 minutes. The service is neat and as comfortable as can be and I like coming to BareSkin because I have limited discomfort during my waxing. The products and techniques the staff employs is phenomenal and they truly care about skincare maintenance in between appointments. This place got good reviews so I booked an appointment at the Eastern Market location since it's near the place I'm staying. The night prior, they called and asked if I'd be willing to go to the Dupont Circle location instead so that the technician could fit in more appointments. It was annoying, but not a huge deal. I was getting lash removal & a new set of classic/hybrid lashes. I've been getting eyelash extensions for 13 years and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. They were thin, whispy, pre-made fans that were poorly glued onto only some of my lashes. They started falling off almost immediately, and there were visible white clumps of glue that a friend pointed out because she thought I had crumbs on my eyes. One week later when I went to another eyelash studio, they couldn't even tell I had any extensions on until they put me under the lights. I would've been better off just curling my own lashes & using mascara because mine are thicker & longer than whatever they used. I've never had such poor quality.
