This places comes in at the top for VHS conversion. I have been to them only, but this is how I imagine how a flawless transaction goes. I met up a guy named Chris at Starbucks. Their office is currently downtown, and as I am in West Hills, I wasn't going to go there. Chris is extremely good looking btw. Very good looking. He took sixty of my mini-DV tapes and said that he will be done in one week best case scenario, three weeks worst case. He called me in 7 days and said it is finished. After his phone call, I met him at the Starbucks. It was easy to spot him, his cheek bone structure stands out, and he is tall and well dressed. I think I have a man crush on him because his looks. It gets better! I paid him, I went home, played every single DVD and they worked flawlyessly. THe video quality was perfect copy of the VHS ( I tested both on my VHS player as well as my PS3) He told me if there is anything wrong he will fix it for free. I didn't have to tell him to fix it for free which is good and bad because I dont get to see his sexxy face again. A+ I'd do it again. I recommended this service to my Aunt it is so good, quick and inexpensive The discs are labeled exactly how they are pictured, which is a dream come true. So I've come to VHS Rescue numerous times at this point, but my most recent experience is actually on behalf of my best friend's mom. She needed to convert some home movies because they're moving and she was afraid of damaging or losing any of them. Seeing as most of these videos contain extremely treasurable memories, i went ahead and recommended the number one place, VHS Rescue!! I went with them to submit the tapes and I have to say, this location is gorgeous! Very fancy and professional. Service is impeccable as always. I could tell she was a bit nervous to give up her memories, but I reassured her that these guys always get the job done. A good fast turn around rate. They label Discs just like in their pic. I found them through a craigslist ad and I went on yelp. Saw one review by maor, and went for the risk. I am glad I did, they kept my tapes in flawless condition, returned them to me in three days. They did thirty tapes for me in 5 days, I payed them $270, I tipped them $30 cuz I felt baller doing it. And they do such good customer service too, they're really kind. I would text Chris every day and he would give me updates on how many were finished. Highly suggest converting here. Really good customer service and prices. I talked to Chris when I called. I met him at the PO box for the company rather than the office in downtown. He was a nice guy, really kind and loving, so much swag haha Back to the point, they converted 8 of my tapes in 3 days. I gave it to him monday, they told me it was ready thursday. theres a reason why there's only 5 star reviews on yelp. This is a good service. I called at 3pm and had 3 tapes I wanted to convert by tomorrow morning for a bday. Chris told me it can be done and we agreed to meet at starbucks at 7pm when he was free. The next day he deluvered the tapes to my house at 8am. Granted I had to pay extra to be out in the front of the que at such a short notice, Chris delivered for free but I tipped him. Can't believe how fast the conversions were finished. I dropped off three tapes Tuesday, and they were copied and ready on my USB drive Wednesday. I paid $30 by check and brought my laptop into the office to check out the files before I paid. I plugged in my USB and found a folder called VHS Rescue on it. Couldnt believe how fast they got the job done. My mom who lives on the east coast shipped a box of 30ish tapes to the Encino location the tapes were converted and put on Dropbox in 3 days. I had the link forwarded tome from my brother and I was able to see my basketball shooting drills again at my childhood house. Best service ever had. VHS RESCUE IS SOOOO HELPFUL. They did all of my DVDs very quickly. I called the number and spoke to the people behind the service. They were very polite when I met with them to give them my tapes. The conversion took one day, which surprised me, super fast. They gave me four DVD in jewel cases, I took them home and when I watched them I was surprised at the quality. This service is surprisingly good. They got my vhs on the computer. It's a wmv file, and I keep it on my computer. They uploaded it to a cloud service, and I downloaded it, so I had no need for a DVD. I'm able now to watch my wedding video on my computer with my wife and kids.
