The first one I tasted is a blanc to noir named Domino. It sells for about $14 US and it is appropriatly priced. There's a certain sweetness at first but at the end there's a bit of bitterness. This could go well with shrimp pasta or some shellfish. The next wine I've tasted the blend of red grapes Domino. And retails for about $17. This one would be good for pizza or a light red meat. It also starts quite sweet and at the end has a little bit of bitterness. The third one is called Pies de Tierra, and it is their best seller. It is a blend of tempranillo and Sirah. It retails for about $24. it is a very good wine, very easy to drink, and very smooth the main flavor that comes from the wines from the Tempranillo grapes. They did a good job on this one.

Our group of 12 arrived and we waited a bit to be seated, which is fine. It is a small winery and they only have one large table. Gerardo was working that day. He seems nice but he didn't tell us much about the winery or the wines he was pouring. We had to ask him questions about their grapes and wine making process. The tasting room was very cute and comfortable. Their wines were ok. None of them really jumped out at me so I ended up not buying anything. Vinos Xecue - enchanting & unforgettable…read more We were looking for a new vineyard to try along the Wine Route at Valle de Guadalupe and found Vino Xucue was highly rated and looked lovely with a fully 360 degree experience we were looking for: and we were not disappointed. Martin was our sommelier and he took incredible care of us, speaking English so that most of our group could follow along. We ordered small bites that were simply indulgent: each bite was hand crafted onsite and tasted phenomenal. We weren't rushed and took our time enjoying the 5-lable tasting. We wandered the grounds and soaked in the incredible scenery along the valley, the rolling hills filled with vineyards and punctuated with lavender to make the whole experience something out of a storybook. Martin took the time to help some in our party who had never before done a tasting, which was really helpful for me (not a novice but nowhere close to a pro). The wines were delicious, made all the more flavorful as learned the notes beforehand so our palates could get the cheat code. Even though there are so many wineries left to discover on The Wine Route in Ensenada, we would definitely return to Vino Xecue because the experience was simply unforgettable.

Location was gorgeous and wine was pretty good- tasting was expensive and they poured enough for one sip only. The food was great, but also expensive for such small portions. You'd think after the dogs making me bleed there'd be some generous pours or something- but nope! Some of the tastings were under a single ounce. Overall gorgeous location and great tasting wine and food- but won't be returning due to the outrageously small portions, expensive price, and dining experience with biting and begging dogs.

Each tasting included four pours, including single varietal whites, reds, and blends. We've been coming to Valle de Guadalupe ("VdG") for about 15 years now, however this was only our second visit to Las Nubes Bodegas y Viñedos. Oscar poured for us this time and we had another wonderful experience. The winery itself sits high up on the hillside on the north side of the valley and affords patrons with amazing views across the vineyards, valley floor, and surrounding mountains. You can sit inside or on their expansive deck with many umbrellas and trellis covered seating areas. Their wines are among our favorites in VdG and the service is excellent. They offer charcuterie boards, sandwiches, oysters, truffled popcorn, cookies, and fruit tarts to pair with your wine selections. Las Nubes is truly a must experience winery when visiting VdG.

The ambiance is wonderful - it's a beautiful winery. We thought the tour was one of the best winery tours we've had off a cruise ship. I do think there probably need to be folding chairs in the dark rooms where the media plays for older passengers on the cruise ships. If you have trouble standing and take the tour I'm sure they could get you a chair if you mention you need one in advance.

It's a very romantic cabin, too bad the weather didn't help us as it was cloudy at night, but we enjoyed it regardless. We enjoyed the wines here as well as the food. The restaurant Surgencia is delicious. If you like pork the tamarind ribs are delicious, but honestly you won't go wrong with any of the dishes. Chef Eduardo is simply amazing and he takes care of the diners making sure everything is perfect for you. The staff are all that way as well, you can tell they care about the customers and take great pride in their work. We will be back!!!

We started in their cozy tasting room with a nice pour of Sauvignon Blanc. We then made our way through down to the beautiful cellar and private tasting room. This is a beautiful vineyard. We only had 2 hours here. I wish we had more time to enjoy walking around their grounds. We requested a Nebiolo and she was able to make it happen. I really like their grenache rosé and their Nebiolo blend.
