I was so excited to find this brand new business on Yelp. As soon as I saw it, I knew we had to go. This is located in Lakewood Ranch which is the newer Bradenton/Sarasota area. I really love this area and all the businesses popping up. We have been to this area before. It's a few doors down from D'Lites Ice Cream Shop. Thai Spice and Sushi is also next door to give you an idea. We instantly fell in love with Via La Casa. It's so stunning and fresh smelling inside. They have coffees and wines, tea, desserts, pastries, and Brazilian snacks. We had a mango tea lemonade and a Ghirardelli caramel latte with a hazelnut crunch pie. They have comfy couches here so you can enjoy your company and they also have tables with cute little games on the table. Service is to die for - super friendly with a smile and welcoming!! . They are helpful beyond words and everything made for a wonderful memorable experience. I can't wait to come back here. It's not close to me, but it's a spot I would def come back to. It's also not far from UTC Mall which I love and also when I come visit Anna Maria Island, this will be the first place for me to go! read more

Mixed feelings. The decor is gorgeous, exactly like a fancy home goods store. On the other hand, I felt like I was getting a coffee in a Pottery Barn rather than sitting in a coffee shop with home goods. For me the overall effect is not my favorite because we all know some of the most stylish furniture is not the most comfortable. If it were ME, I'd lean more into the art gallery aspect (they have lots of art works for sale!) and less into the wicker chairs and ceramic plates. Just my opinion though. The drinks are good, although service is slow. For a drive by coffee, thumbs up. To sit and study or work, thumbs down. For a home goods store where you can also get a muffin and a cortado, thumbs up. For a place to take children, thumbs down. read more

Such a hidden gem! My husband and I loved it! The coffee is seriously incredible, rich and flavorful. I would go out of my way to get coffee here. I tried the cortado and the french toast latte and both were absolutely perfect--and I'm a bit of a coffee snob ;-) The setting is so comfy and beautiful. I loved browsing the art and home gifts while waiting for my drink order. I found an adorable mini pitcher with my dog on it (!!) and a gorgeous pillow that fits the colors of my home perfectly. November 2024, Monday 9-11am- as soon as I walked in I felt a sense of peace that I can't explain. It's just so cozy and relaxing in here. Baristas are usually not too talkative but friendly. There were only two other ladies inside and small waves of people trickled in throughout my time here. It wasn't too busy or overwhelming. The coffee was so incredibly good! I ordered a pumpkin latte and then a decaf latte. They make their own pumpkin mix (I think they used spices and pumpkin purée) and dang it was amazing! Not too sweet, and so flavorful. The decaf latte was oddly too hot to drink, which is unusual, but the flavor tasted roasted which I liked. I've been here before and got an iced coffee which I remember being good. This place is a go to for me whenever I visit Sarasota. read more

Absolutely charming! This was the perfect spot for myself and two other ladies to meet for a late afternoon glass of wine and hours of conversation. It was like sitting in someone's beautifully decorated and feel-food living room. Nice music in the background. Beautiful decorations and furnishings including the boutique gifts for purchase. A reasonable selection of nice wines. A nice selection of pastries, desserts, and other lighter fare. All three of us concluded "this our spot" for our future gatherings. Lovely! read more

The barista was washing dishes, as someone was already at the counter waiting for her . nice and slow she continued washing her dishes not acknowledging the fact that there are people at the counter waiting to order. We all waited as she slowly washed the dishes then washed the sink out and wiped her hands again as if she was trying to make it as slow as possible before she finally turned and said hi to the guy that's been standing there, before even I walked in. I would never return. Overpriced, bad coffee. Overprice, ok food. incredibly rude staff. The people the company attracts was no one I wanted to be around. I was given the wrong coffee and they asked for it back and threw it away. They would rather waste money than someone have a free drink. If I was paid to go back I wouldn't. I was looking for a new coffee place that is not a chain, and I stumbled upon this little gem. The seating areas were nice. What was missing, music, but I see another reviewer said there was nice background music, maybe it wasn't working the day we went in. Hands down the best espresso I've had in the area. Absolutely smooth and no bitterness. I had an Americano my friend 2 cappuccinos, because the first one was so good. I was tempted to get another myself before leaving. I love the idea of this shop but it is extremely overpriced for below average (and that is my generous wording) coffee and food. $1 extra to add a splash of milk to an already overpriced coffee is absurd along with $8 for a small piece of a flavorless egg bake.
