I love this place. Tried just about every coffee shop on this island during my visit and this was my favorite. Cute decor for sale. Coffee was very very good. And the service was great, super nice people.

Back Alley is a place to try. Super cute coffee/wine bar. Where the back has merchandise for purchase. Though they may seem packed, they spin out drinks pretty quickly. Just be a smidge patient. That said, the service overall is very polite. I went for coffee and then a couple hours later when back for a gluten free coffee cake and the worker (maybe owner(?)) remembered me. Give it a try and support local!

Love this cute store. In September they appeared to have different hours than the ones listed on the door. We really wished they stayed open longer but i get it it's beach town. It's a fun gift shop plus plus. They have coffee, drinks, fruit and bites to eat. However they do not have is protein drinks. Then again no one did on this part of the island. Even the little quick shop.

I stopped in for a coffee and was met with friendly service. The coffee bar area also serves beer and wine for later in the day, and the vibe is quirky and art filled beach house with lots of colors and textures. I had an iced latte with their house made cold-foam (really good!) and a small lime cake. The small pastries and cakes are homemade and delicious. I went back in after enjoying my coffee and cake on their outdoor porch and did some shopping. The gift shop is just as fun and I bought a small travel sized sunscreen. Great spot! Delicious coffee and cake and great little gift shop.

What a unique concept!!!! Coffee, wine, beer, smoothies, boozy smoothies, snacks, boutique items for sale; omg what a glorious place. The gentlemen behind the counter warmed my soul. Great conversation and suggestions. Friendly atmosphere and perfect location.

My favorite coffee shop on the island I started my mornings with a short beach walk to the coffee shop, and the service was fast and the coffee was tasty. My favorite part are their straws - pieces of pasta noodles! A sustainable touch that is much appreciated when you're that close to the water.

Bridge Street entrance

The shop atmosphere was beautiful and clean, with lots of coastal jewelry and other beachy gifts. The bathroom was surprisingly adorable as well but the most important part was the coffee was amazing!

11/10 bartender & artist Scott! Check out his jewelry in the store to get hooky!

Wonderful, wonderful experience at Back Alley Treasures yesterday evening! I had originally stopped here for hunting down some local pieces of art but ended up staying and getting so much more! Scott's charm and service was delightful, and his drinks were always perfect! ( I suggest a raspberry matcha if you need a post-beach pick me up!) Scott even sells some beautiful jewelry within the store, please check it out! Beautiful atmosphere, with home like charm, please check this place out!

This is a shop first and coffee bar second for sure. Very cute shop but on the expensive side I bought a generic magnet for $6.50. I loved a pair of earrings but the were $50 and not what I was willing to pay. It does have some neat unique Bradenton Beach items. The coffee was good and reasonably priced. I ordered a double iced white chocolate latte with a shot of raspberry and it was $6. They even have some alcoholic coffee options which I thought was a fun idea we were just driving home so I didn't try one. There are some tables outside to sit at under a covered walkway.

Best coffee & Arnold Palmer on AMI. And the service from Scott & Tammie cannot be beat. Fast, friendly & fabulous. Highly recommend.

Coffee was fine. Syrups are not homemade which I prefer. No where to sit is a drawback for sure. It's a gift shop where they serve coffee.

We grabbed reservations for the outdoor area to enjoy the weather and were thankful for the shady tree cover. This time we opted for some bites and though the menus change seasonally, I would recommend anything featuring tomatoes. They use truly fantastic heirloom tomatoes that remind you what you're missing with the watery ones we get at the grocery store. Also recommend the Mediterranean Platter. It's full of veggies and the dips are YUM. As usual, the cocktails didn't disappoint. It's never a weekend in AMI without a visit here! Previous Review: 5 Stars for the best cocktails on AMI, and a craft cocktail bar vibe you wouldn't necessarily expect here. (Plus, the service is AMAZING) We walked in (no reservation) after dinner one weekend evening and we were greeted by Matt, who found us a spot at the bar. He gave us menus and a "wellness shot" -- delicious little concoction to wet your palate! Right away I was blown away by the interior and the menu. This looked like it belonged somewhere in Denver or Chicago, but I was thrilled to find it on the island! Matt helped guide us to drinks we'd like on the menu. I ordered the Purgatory, made up of Bourbon, chocolate bitters, agave and premium mezcal. It was divine!! We also ordered some warmed olives, and they were hot and so fragrant. Definitely something I'd order again at the bar. I was stoked to see they have a veggie-specific section on the food menu and can't wait to go back for dinner. I'll definitely make a reservation though, as it was pretty full. Next time, in terms of drinks, I have my eyes on the espresso martini (off menu, but saw a pic on Yelp), and the kiss kiss bang bang. Thanks to Matt and Emily who helped us with our drinks along the way. Sometimes these fabulous craft bars can be pretentious, but the service here was a huge standout. Can't wait to return!

There is street parking and a small private parking lot. I highly recommend reservations on the Resy app about 1-2 weeks in advance, as the restaurant is busy in winter. FOOD: You can choose between a la carte or the Prix Fixe menu. The Prix Fixe is a small-portioned three-course (bite, appetizer, and entrée) menu featuring some of our signature dishes. The Prix Fixe experience begins at $58 per person (there are additional add-ons) for dine-in only. 1. Waterzooi Soup (3/5; Red Farms chicken | caramelized leeks | carrots | local cream | focaccia toast | parsley emulsion | carrot purée): This is a Belgian soup. The serving size of the soup in the prix fixe was relatively small. The presentation was nice, and the chicken soup was a nice winter dish. The chicken broth was savory but at room temperature. 2. Autumn Salad (2/5; mixed artisanal greens | brûléed bucheron cheese | radicchio | toasted French walnuts | red grapes | fig balsamic vinaigrette): I felt like something was lacking from this seasonal autumn salad. It's OK for me, as I mostly ate the bucheron cheese with the grapes and walnuts. 3. Filet Mignon (4/5; seared | maître d'hôtel butter | red wine jus | truffle potato purée | asparagus (additions: sauce Choron, seared foie gras, Maine lobster tail, local exotic Petrichor mushrooms): It was cooked perfectly. This is a staple in the menu. I did not add any of the additionals. The service was great. Our water and drinks did not touch the bottom. The server came around often to check in and give his recommendations. If you want to do order pick up, it is available Tuesday-Saturday between 5 - 8 PM. Would I come back? Yes. I want to try other items on the menu.

We got there a little early for our reservation and they were immediately ready to seat us. They even made an effort to place us near the fish tank so our toddler could watch the fish during dinner, which I really appreciated. The restaurant itself felt more intimate than I expected. I've seen reviews mention the awkward layout, but I actually thought it gave the space a cozy feel. Unfortunately, the food and service didn't fully live up to the prices. Our waiter was kind, but we barely saw him during the meal and waited quite a while for drink refills. I'd also mentioned in the reservation notes that it was my husband's birthday dinner and our first time visiting, but neither was acknowledged during dinner. Normally that wouldn't bother me much, but with the pricing and the restaurant's elevated presentation - polished uniforms, fresh seafood options, extensive wine menu - it felt like there should've been a little more attention to the overall experience. My husband did absolutely love the coleslaw that came with his fish and chips, especially the pineapple in it, which he'd never tried before. I ordered the grouper tacos and thought they were okay, but not especially satisfying. They came with a salad, and I found myself wishing I could've swapped it for fries or a heartier side. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing or misunderstood the menu options. Most of the crowd during our visit seemed older, and the restaurant definitely feels geared toward that demographic. While I don't think we'd personally rush back, I'm still glad we gave it a try. I also thought it was a nice touch that they offer a 15% discount to the ice cream shop next door if you bring your receipt.

I'd love to have an entree of those babies! For entrees I ordered the burger, which honestly wasn't worth mentioning. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't memorable either. Just a burger. The star of the evening was the Snapper entree. For a little context, we had snapper at another restaurant, which my friend said was very good, but her face seemed only mildly pleased. When she took one bite of the Chateau Anna Maria snapper, she had the biggest smile on her face that she couldn't contain! I think the word she used was 'foodgasm.' I agreed, wishing I'd ordered it too. And if that weren't enough, they brought out a beautiful birthday donut served on its own little table complete with chocolate, caramel, and strawberry dipping sauces. Such a great touch! As we headed out we had some great conversation with a manager and a regional manager who happened to be in town. Both were delightful to talk to. As we exited, one of the bussers was playing the piano in the lobby. Overall a great experience, and we will be back if we're in the area!
