I know other people have used them…read moresatisfactorily But after tonight, I'd say if you do, check ahead and make sure they are aware of your arrangements with them, say two hours in advance. A lady I am aware of uses their services or she would not get around. Her health just doesn't allow for it. One night I saw her waiting for them to pick her up outside the studio and gallery next to where I do my work.. The weather was nice but I would never leave a woman to sit by herself at night near 2nd st and Roosevelt while waiting to be picked up. Chances are there'd be no problems but... They were late but eventually they go there after being called and reminded they were supposed to come and get her. Tonight, it was bordering on cold and this lady again was sitting waiting vor VMT to come and get her. .She told me she had called VMT twice and got the answering machine. By 7:20 pm, I started calling and by then the answering machine wasn't picking up. Eventually my calls would be dropped. Finally at 7:35, I put her in my car and drove her to 70th ave and Indian School. If you use this company be very clear on your plans with them. Nuff said.

This company was the one our hospice company used to transport my dad to his respite stay. The guy…read moretried every excuse possible to not do his job. 1. He said the stretcher wouldn't be able to fit in the hallway. I told him the fire department had no issue fitting their stretcher in the hallway. 2. Then he said it wouldn't fit through the doorway. I told him both the fire department and the transport company used by the hospital had no issues fitting their stretchers in the doorway. Our doorways are the average size, so with that logic, the stretcher wouldn't be able to fit through most doorways.. 3. He complained the bed was too close to the wall and it would need to be pushed all the way to the other side of the room for the stretcher to fit. None of the other companies had to move the bed to transfer from stretcher to bed. He did not want to try move the bed until I said I would do it myself if he didn't know how to do it. 4. He said that hospice was supposed to be there to help and that he wasn't allowed to touch the patient. I had the hospice company on speaker phone at this point and they stated that was untrue. Hospice offered they could send someone out if needed but he said he would not wait around and that he only had 25 minutes to do this. Side note, he was scheduled to come at 5PM, he arrived before his schedule at 4:50PM (arriving early wasn't an issue until he put a time limit on his service. Other reviews said they were working on their transfers for hours so I don't believe he only has 25 minutes to get patients in the vehicle and to their destination.) 5. After finally getting my dad on the stretcher he did not properly secure his arms. One of my dad's arms went a little past the width of the stretcher and the guy kept trying to force the stretcher through the doorway when I finally realized my dad's arm was being squeezed between the stretcher and the door frame. My dad at this point was unconscious and ended up passing away just a few days after this happened. These were my very last moments with my dad and this guy/company treated us so horribly. Hospice apologized profusely to us for the transport companies treatment but the transport company and that transport guy never apologized.

His driving is professional which I so much appreciate. He's focused and alert and doesn't text or engage with phone calls while driving. This means a lot to me because my past experiences with different companies & their drivers have caused me terrible exhausting anxiety when they multitask while driving. I feel safe, and that my life is in good hands on these trips with Daniel. He is friendly and kind. While I understand tragic weather played a factor in this, I was told he would be there between 440p and 530p. At 5:45, he was 15 minutes late. I called the office to see what was going on the woman I spoke to, I believe her name was ReAnn.', was rude. She told me at one point he was 20 minutes away then she said 5 minutes away. When I asked her which one it was, she said, " well, before I was interrupted, you asked for an estimated time. In the situation I was in I didn't need her rudeness or sarcasm. When I told her I was told between 430 and 530 and not 430 and 6 o'clock. She was rude. As I said, she was rude, but Ricky was great so when I called on Monday to let management know of the situation, I spoke to Shane. He was very nice and apologetic; however, he is not the one that should've been apologizing. In fact, the call to him should never have happened . Because of Ricky and Shane, this place gets four stars. What I use them again? Yes,,only if the transport was in town.
