Great restaurant to try tapas! All of the items were more generous than we expected so we were very full after getting one of each of the items (with 5 people). All of the food tasted great, but my favorites were the salmon, burrata, octopus and scallop. The one tapas item we were looking for that they didnt have was Spanish tortilla. Service was very good, friendly and attentive. The waitress told us we could order each of croquettes as 5 and they would charge accordingly instead of ordering 2 sets of 4, which we were going to do originally. I appreciate that she did not just upsell us and gave us the more convenient option. The restaurant was very full so we had 5 people sitting at the bar near the door which wasn't the most comfortable, but given how crowded it was I can't judge them very hard for accommodating us however they could. It was tight but the counter was wide enough to share even for us. Overall great restaurant, would definitely recommend!

My sister wandered into her on her first day in Barcelona and then we went here when we ended up not being able to get into another restaurant without reservations. I think the service here was my favorite part. Everyone was just so friendly!!! We got a smattering of things but my favorite was the scallop and the suckling pig! The salmon tataki was fresh and delicious as well! I don't love "french toast" but I would highly recommend getting it off their dessert menu. It's not actually french toast at all but instead just a sweet delicious bread based dessert with cream and ice cream.

A hidden gem! This very unassuming place is hitting all the right notes. Just walking in you're greeted with such welcoming energy. The staff makes you feel right at home. We came in for a late lunch without a reservation and they got us situated at a table promptly. All the food was excellent. Each dish seemingly better than the last. The standouts for me were the scallops, croquettes, and damn that roasted octopus was pure ! Excellence all around! We even got a complementary app from the team which was a nice gesture. Don't sleep on this place! You will love it.

Out of all the European countries we spent our summer vacation recently, Barcelona stood out for us in terms of having the best weather and food! There was honestly no bad meal in Barcelona, the tapas and vinos were all incredible. But if we have to recommend just one place, Viana comes to mind. Viana came highly recommended to us by a wonderful family we met during our Food tour in Montmartre in Paris so we definitely reserved ahead! I will say that it's worth the splurge and the wait (we fasted 24 hours to ensure we can enjoy this as our OMAD (one meal a day). The biggest surprise is being welcomed by the warmest and nicest Filipino crew (thank you for the complimentary Cava for our anniversary trip!) and discovering that most of the chefs are Filipinos as well. Made me so very proud! Everything was so amazing that despite the no tipping necessary mentality in Europe, I insisted on us adding 20 euros as tip. The best part is getting to enjoy and soak up all the fun vibes and energy at Placa Real after as the restaurant is within steps from it. Hope you enjoy watching and get to enjoy Viana if you're ever in Barcelona! https://youtu.be/zezfhL0-XsA?si=z2Y_3u6zNoPsXkd3

If you went to Arume and liked it you'll like this place too. Spanish food with an Asian twist. Attractive restaurant and great service. Just like most restaurants in Spain great wines.

arriving at viana with no reservations...no tables available, but stool seating is first-come...taking 3 stools on a high table facing the wall near the entrance...isn't bad...a hot & humid day, so taking a large (jar) beer 5,3 euros...other taking the special mojito 9,5 euros...ordered the jamon iberico 21,5 euros to start...quite a large portion on a wooden slab with plenty of wonderfully crusty tomato rubbed bread...price matched the portion...great as always and the iberico was the kid's favorite...conelon 16 euros was an interesting dish...fat tube of pasta stuffed with goodness...little rich, but flavorful...croquet 12 euros is always a crispy treat bursting with flavor...the meal even included a complimentary starter which was a stuffed egg roll type of dish...taking another large beer to wash everything down...2,7 euros water charge for 3 people...73,3 euros total for everything and 3 drinks...good meal and great service from staff...

We wanted a cool spot for our last night in Barcelona, and Viana did not disappoint. It's a fairly small place with a hip, upscale vibe. We had a reservation, and it definitely looked like we needed it; I didn't see any empty tables. The service was very fast, and the QR code menu with pictures was helpful. We started with a couple of cocktails, and the Coconut Lips was a definite favorite (but I'm a sucker for anything with passionfruit ). For food, we did the patatas bravas (simple, but excellent) and the suckling pig. The suckling pig was unbelievably good--pear chutney, a knockout sauce, and the perfect crunch. Don't miss it!

This is a very small restaurant which is very packed and you definitely need a reservation for. Food - Their Argentinian steak was amazing and their paella was great. Service - Good Parking - Nowhere near this location as it is in a walk-only place. Taking the metro here is probably better. Overall, this place is amazing. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

May be THE best restaurant in Barcelona. 1. Reservation: necessary 2. Drinks: blackberry mojito: taste is okay, looks cool wine selection: amazing 3. Food: great ceviche: delicious ham: amazing paella: okay, which was surprising. or maybe I am just not that into paella. Argentinian steak: top notch Dessert: unique 4. Service: attentive, cooperative and efficient Very small establishment with very few seats, plan ahead. Use the app to reserve or keep an eye on opening.

The best paella I have ever had! We also had squid ink pasta, croquettes (both octopus and ham are great!), blackberry mojito, octopus. Everything is also great including the free appetizer they give you. We were not too hungry to begin with so they allowed us to order half portion for everything. That was very kind of them! Service is top notch! We didn't make a reservation but we didn't have to wait. We did show up right around when they first open tho. It's a small restaurant so I recommend to make a reservation. This place will be the first stop next time I come back to Barcelona!

Excellent food and top-notch service. Love that restaurants are open late in Barcelona, getting to eat tapas at 11 pm in itself is an experience. We tried a couple of their red wines and they were all amazing. Paella and Patatas bravas were both really good and they offered us some butternut squash leek soup on the house in the beginning which was really flavorful and appreciated.

Found this place on a whim while walking around in Gothic Quarter- one of the few restaurants open on a Sunday. This place is SO good. Get the scallops and suckling pig, you won't regret it. All the sauces paired with the meats perfectly, am definitely recommending this place to my friends. Cherry on top were the staff- super welcoming, made me feel at home :)
